Ron DeSantis Shows Us How It's Done -
Shuts Down Attempted 'Gotcha' Question

Ron DeSantis just keeps showing us how to handle questioners with an agenda. He's just so good at it; he's calm, doesn't get agitated or angry, just calmly and methodically takes the questioner apart. He's an up-and-comer, and Florida is lucky to have him. On Thursday, Governor DeSantis spoke in Sarasota, announcing awards from the Florida Disaster Fund. And, as we might expect, a questioner attempted to trip up the governor with a "gotcha" on climate change. Ron DeSantis wasn't having any of it. The questioner's attempted "gotcha" was, "When will the words 'Climate Change' come out of your mouth?"

It's a good thing Florida has DeSantis. The destruction from Milton was MASSIVE. Competence and honesty show. It is good to have real leaders that actually GOVERN. We were without power for six days, but it could have been much worse. Property on one side of our house had a tree break at the base and break a utility pole in half. All that weight on the wires (they never broke) broke another utility pole in half on the other side of our house. There are broken trees, power lines, and debris everywhere. It will be months to clean up. As of yesterday, our local utility company says 97% of people without power has had it restored. Thousands of utility workers have been brought into the state to help out. DeSantis had a big part in that.

Remember too, that climate change means the weather patterns will repeat themselves. California was in the middle of a 5+ year drought and they were projecting more of the same 2 years ago. Suddenly, they had massive amounts of rain and snow which essentially erased the drought. The climate alarmists projected another dry year last year, only to have significant rain again (unexpected by them) which did erase the drought in the entire state. All of the reservoirs were full and many needed to allow runoff to avoid going over the top/edge. So much so they were pushing runoff into fields to allow it to seep into the underground caverns to further bolster the ability to function as a society. Climate change folks should be expecting more of the same if it's truly changed, but they're projecting an El Nina year which means drier conditions for most of the state.

De Santis is great. So is J.D.Vance. Democrats have a bigger problem than not having any young, competent voices. They don't have a single idea that hasn't failed over and over every time tried and isn't a repackaged version of Marxism.

Bottom line is too many politicians and has beens like Man Bear Pig get rich off of their spewing nonsense about the climate. DeSantis and Vance are two of the best speakers out there and take no nonsense off of these so-called reporters. They would make a great team in 2028.

Thank you, #10! Every red state needs desperately as courageous and bold a Governor. He is absolutely America’s Governor. A strong man who is unusual in that he will stand up to the federal government when they try to usurp his lawful authority. He gets it, just like Trump, that a Governor needs to be seen and seen often out there talking to the folks. He gives pressers and answers plenty of questions. God bless Hovetnor DeSsntis!!

Former Hamas head Yahya Sinwar could be seen throwing a stick at the IDF drone that targeted him on Thursday moments before his assassination, Israel's military showed in released footage. In the footage, a masked Sinwar is circled in red with the stick that he threw at the drone. Sinwar can then be seen throwing the stick in the direction of the drone as he sits on a couch surrounded by the rubble of the building he was located within. IDF Spokesperson R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari released the footage late on Thursday night during his statement confirming Sinwar's death, where he described the events leading up to the assassination.

The panic on the left is international. U.K. Labour, which is collapsing before our eyes a mere few months after winning a massive majority in the Parliament, is engaging in a massive election interference program here in the United States. When Russia spent a few hundred thousand dollars on grossly ineffective ads aimed at stirring up trouble in 2016, the world went wild. The ruling party of the United Kingdom is literally sending foreign agents to the United States to help the Kamala Harris campaign. So far nobody is making a stink about it.

ALBANY, Georgia — The pews were filling up inside Mount Zion Baptist Church, where former President Bill Clinton was set to launch his rural campaign swing for Vice President Kamala Harris in this Democratic stronghold bordering a sea of rural red Georgia. In the back, Joseph Parker said he was thrilled the Arkansan was coming. But it had been nearly a quarter-century since Clinton left office and, Parker said, “Things were really different then.” This year, he said he’s voting for former President Donald Trump, the first time the 72-year-old has cast a ballot for a Republican presidential candidate. “Trump’s a man of his word.

The US says it has carried out "precision strikes" against five weapons storage locations in areas of Yemen controlled by the Houthi movement. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said B-2 Spirit stealth bombers were part of the operation that targeted hardened underground facilities housing missiles and other munitions that the Iran-backed group had used to attack civilian and military ships. The strikes demonstrated the ability of the US to hit facilities that adversaries sought "to keep out of reach", he added. Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV said the strikes targeted six areas in and around the capital, Sanaa, and two near the northern city of Saada. It did not report any casualties.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar gives Israel a “great opportunity” to stop the Iranian-led “axis of evil” in the Middle East and to free the remaining hostages in Gaza. Netanyahu delivered a video statement shortly after the Israel Defense Forces and several Israeli officials confirmed Sinwar’s death. The Hamas chief was one of three terrorists killed during a firefight with Israeli soldiers in the southern city of Rafah on Wednesday. “Hamas will no longer rule Gaza,” Netanyahu promised in the four-minute video, as reported by the Times of Israel. “This is the beginning of the day after Hamas,

For more than 100 years, the Wilmington and Carson oil refineries have pumped out millions of barrels of gasoline, filling the thirsty cars of Southern California’s freeway-driving motorists. Now, in an abrupt move that reflects the tectonic shifts driven by climate change, the transition to electric vehicles and demands for cleaner air, Phillips 66 announced Wednesday that late next year it is closing the twin-refinery complex that produces about 8% of the state’s gasoline. In her first formal interview with Fox News, a 25-minute long sit down on chief political anchor Bret Baier’s show Special Report, Vice President Kamala Harris had trouble answering questions about what Americans find to be the most pressing electoral issues — including immigration, the economy, and President Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential race. The pair began by talking about immigration, a top issue for American voters. When Baier asked Harris how many illegal immigrants her administration has released into the United States, Harris dodged, and said, “Bret, let’s just get to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.”

In the end, after a year-long, multi-agency manhunt involving the latest technology, Israel’s best special forces and American assistance, Yahya Sinwar appears to have been killed by regular soldiers who had stumbled into him and had no idea whom they had killed. According to the initial reports, they were not there on an assassination operation and had no prior intelligence that they could be in the vicinity of the elusive Hamas leader, architect of the 7 October attacks, the man Israel most wanted to kill. It was only after they took a closer look at his face and found identity documents on him that the troops realised they had got Sinwar.

Go to Kamala Harris’ campaign website and among the very short list of alleged achievements is this: “She cast the deciding vote to lower drug prices and cap insulin prices for our seniors.” The only problem is that drug costs for seniors have skyrocketed since Harris signed that bill. Harris is pointing to the criminally misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act,” which got zero Republican votes, and which was supposed to lower the cost of prescription drugs by giving, as Harris puts it, “Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices with Big Pharma.”
