Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign on Thursday abruptly barred the press from her meeting with students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as pro-Palestinian protesters marched on the campus amid the news that Hamas’ leader was killed by the Israeli military. Ms. Harris was said to be working on a statement about the developments in the Middle East. The Democratic nominee was scheduled to briefly take questions from the press ahead of what the campaign billed as a “meet and greet’ with the UWM students. However, reporters traveling with Ms. Harris in Wisconsin said that the talk with the press was canceled moments before it was scheduled to happen.

So we’re to expect this coward and liar to handle world problems when she runs from the press and protesters? She doesn’t have the spine to deal with serious world problems. She’s a joke. A giggling joke that is unable to communicate a coherent thought. Platitudes are as good as it gets with her.

The panic on the left is international. U.K. Labour, which is collapsing before our eyes a mere few months after winning a massive majority in the Parliament, is engaging in a massive election interference program here in the United States. When Russia spent a few hundred thousand dollars on grossly ineffective ads aimed at stirring up trouble in 2016, the world went wild. The ruling party of the United Kingdom is literally sending foreign agents to the United States to help the Kamala Harris campaign. So far nobody is making a stink about it.

ALBANY, Georgia — The pews were filling up inside Mount Zion Baptist Church, where former President Bill Clinton was set to launch his rural campaign swing for Vice President Kamala Harris in this Democratic stronghold bordering a sea of rural red Georgia. In the back, Joseph Parker said he was thrilled the Arkansan was coming. But it had been nearly a quarter-century since Clinton left office and, Parker said, “Things were really different then.” This year, he said he’s voting for former President Donald Trump, the first time the 72-year-old has cast a ballot for a Republican presidential candidate. “Trump’s a man of his word.

The US says it has carried out "precision strikes" against five weapons storage locations in areas of Yemen controlled by the Houthi movement. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said B-2 Spirit stealth bombers were part of the operation that targeted hardened underground facilities housing missiles and other munitions that the Iran-backed group had used to attack civilian and military ships. The strikes demonstrated the ability of the US to hit facilities that adversaries sought "to keep out of reach", he added. Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV said the strikes targeted six areas in and around the capital, Sanaa, and two near the northern city of Saada. It did not report any casualties.

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris posted a video to X of herself speaking last week to the mayor of St. Petersburg, Fla., as Hurricane Milton neared — but only after editing out describing herself as a “devout public servant” and expressing concern about the pace of federal aid. The Democratic presidential nominee tweeted footage of her speaker phone call with Mayor Ken Welch — leaving 38 seconds of the two-minute call on the cutting room floor — as the storm approached the Gulf Coast. A more complete version of the tape from Welch’s end of the line, obtained by The Post, reveals that the Harris team edited out the 59-year-old saying,

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar gives Israel a “great opportunity” to stop the Iranian-led “axis of evil” in the Middle East and to free the remaining hostages in Gaza. Netanyahu delivered a video statement shortly after the Israel Defense Forces and several Israeli officials confirmed Sinwar’s death. The Hamas chief was one of three terrorists killed during a firefight with Israeli soldiers in the southern city of Rafah on Wednesday. “Hamas will no longer rule Gaza,” Netanyahu promised in the four-minute video, as reported by the Times of Israel. “This is the beginning of the day after Hamas,

For more than 100 years, the Wilmington and Carson oil refineries have pumped out millions of barrels of gasoline, filling the thirsty cars of Southern California’s freeway-driving motorists. Now, in an abrupt move that reflects the tectonic shifts driven by climate change, the transition to electric vehicles and demands for cleaner air, Phillips 66 announced Wednesday that late next year it is closing the twin-refinery complex that produces about 8% of the state’s gasoline. The Houston company, which has operated the refineries since its 2012 spin off from ConocoPhillips, said it will replace its output with sources “inside and outside its refining network” and with renewable

Israel military officials earlier in the day said that it was “highly likely” that Mr. Sinwar, the lead target in Israel’s military incursion into Gaza, was dead. Ron DeSantis just keeps showing us how to handle questioners with an agenda. He's just so good at it; he's calm, doesn't get agitated or angry, just calmly and methodically takes the questioner apart. He's an up-and-comer, and Florida is lucky to have him. On Thursday, Governor DeSantis spoke in Sarasota, announcing awards from the Florida Disaster Fund. And, as we might expect, a questioner attempted to trip up the governor with a "gotcha" on climate change. Ron DeSantis wasn't having any of it. The questioner's attempted "gotcha" was, "When will the words 'Climate Change' come out of your mouth?"

In her first formal interview with Fox News, a 25-minute long sit down on chief political anchor Bret Baier’s show Special Report, Vice President Kamala Harris had trouble answering questions about what Americans find to be the most pressing electoral issues — including immigration, the economy, and President Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential race. The pair began by talking about immigration, a top issue for American voters. When Baier asked Harris how many illegal immigrants her administration has released into the United States, Harris dodged, and said, “Bret, let’s just get to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.”

Vice President Kamala Harris, in a rare Fox News interview on Wednesday, dodged a bevy of questions about the Biden-Harris immigration policies, the president’s cognitive decline and her support for taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries for prisoners. The interview is part of Ms. Harris’ pursuit of support from Republican votes who have become disillusioned with former President Donald Trump. She repeatedly sidestepped questions, often pivoting to sharp attacks on Mr. Trump and boasts of Republican politicos and former Trump administration officials who are backing her. Fox News anchor Bret Baier spent the first 10 minutes focused on immigration, an issue that’s top-of-mind for many Republican voters. • Ms. Harris declined to discuss

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris angrily dodged questions on border policy, Iran and President Biden’s fitness for office in an contentious interview with Fox News host Bret Baier — as more polls showed her losing the initiative in the race for the White House. The 26-minute interview with the Democratic nominee kicked off with a tense grilling by Baier on immigration policy — with Harris repeatedly refusing to say that terminating former President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy was a mistake. Baier’s first question schooled Harris about the effects of the current administration’s more permissive policies, which allow many illegal border-crossers to await asylum rulings inside the US, before asking

What happened Wednesday night to Kamala Harris on Fox News may have been the equivalent to what happened to President Joe Biden at that infamous debate in June — irreparably exposed her as unacceptable to voters. In what was widely seen as a Hail Mary move by Kamala’s campaign, the vice president agreed to an extended interview on Fox News, one of the exceedingly few national TV interviews she’s done since she was anointed the Democrat Party’s post-Biden nominee. Remarkably, she offered nothing new in terms of her weak, often confusing answers to obvious questions, but she did finally face probing lines of inquiry and necessary follow-up

Go to Kamala Harris’ campaign website and among the very short list of alleged achievements is this: “She cast the deciding vote to lower drug prices and cap insulin prices for our seniors.” The only problem is that drug costs for seniors have skyrocketed since Harris signed that bill. Harris is pointing to the criminally misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act,” which got zero Republican votes, and which was supposed to lower the cost of prescription drugs by giving, as Harris puts it, “Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices with Big Pharma.”

In the end, after a year-long, multi-agency manhunt involving the latest technology, Israel’s best special forces and American assistance, Yahya Sinwar appears to have been killed by regular soldiers who had stumbled into him and had no idea whom they had killed. According to the initial reports, they were not there on an assassination operation and had no prior intelligence that they could be in the vicinity of the elusive Hamas leader, architect of the 7 October attacks, the man Israel most wanted to kill. It was only after they took a closer look at his face and found identity documents on him that the troops realised they had got Sinwar.
