Shocking police body camera video shows the moment a Virginia woman was shot dead by an officer after she charged him with a knife. Sydney Wilson, 33, a commercial real estate manager in the DC area, was visited by an officer for a welfare check at her apartment in Reston on September 16 at 10 a.m. Officer Peter Liu - who had 14 years of experience in crisis intervention - knocked on the door, and Wilson opened. When the officer identified himself, she slammed it back shut. For the next three minutes, the policeman continued to knock, only for the 6ft 6in Wilson to open the door and charge him with a knife.

The attacker had a size and strength advantage over the male police officer. He also had intent to overcome the officer. But for his training and legal weapon,.Officer Lu could have been the fatality. Sick of hearing whining when XX refuses to "welcome" XY into their private spaces because they cannot feel safe.

Someone was concerned enough to request the welfare check. When she slammed the door, the officer did not know if she was in danger inside the apartment. Most of the time they need to go inside to check everything is really okay and not just take someone's word for it. So, lunging out of the door with a knife and slashing the officer certainly escalated the situation and the officer was in danger for his life. Sad situation all around.

Prominent pollster Scott Rasmussen says the issue of transgenderism with biological men playing in biological women's sports could move voters in swing states to the right. "We now have colleges forfeiting their games rather than play against transgender athletes," Rasmussen said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "So the issue has some general impact." Over the past few weeks, multiple schools have canceled womens' volleyball matches against San Jose State due to the team having a transgender player on the team who had been seen spiking balls into the faces of the opposing team during matches, according to Fox News. This issue has come up in schools all

Democrats have always been good at presenting a united front when it matters most. The party can even count on those representing deep-red states to back a far-left agenda if the party demands it. In the 2024 election, the party seems to be rallying behind Kamala Harris, but don’t be fooled — there are plenty of high-profile Democrats who would quietly prefer to see her fall short. Here’s a look at four key figures in the Democratic Party who, for various reasons, are privately rooting for Kamala to lose next month. Gavin Newsom As we’ve reported plenty of times here at PJ Media, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) has been on a subtle

There is nothing more miserable than a group of liberal Democrats not getting their way. No matter how horrible and insufferable they are when they’re in power, out of it, or not getting their way in, it takes everything up to 11. Usually, that makes watching them a lot of fun. Not because I enjoy watching human suffering but because they’re not really suffering at all; they’re just unable to force people to conform to their will, which makes them crazy. Well, OK, that and the fact that I do enjoy watching liberals suffer, but only because they’re absolutely miserable people. They deserve it, as does anyone lusting for

Last night at his rally in Detroit, Donald Trump was joined on stage by Thomas Hearns, the Hitman. This is epic: The three-time Republican presidential nominee was at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit, and, before he took the stage, he took a photo with boxing legend Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, a Detroit native. Trump then spotted Hearns in the audience and invited him to the stage. “I won so much money betting on this guy. … Some of the greatest fights in history,” Trump said. That is no exaggeration. Hearns eventually joined Trump on the stage and seemed in disbelief. “Hearing those nice words coming from you, man, this can’t be real. …

One year later, on the first day of Sukkot, Yahyah Sinwar, the mastermind of the massacre, was dead. On July 26, in the aftermath of the Democratic Party's ruthless midsummer coup of their own democratically elected presidential nominee, this column predicted that the elevation of dimwitted cackler-in-chief Kamala Harris to the party's presidential slot would "spectacularly backfire." More specifically, I wrote: "Practically, the path to winning 270 Electoral College votes still runs through the Rust Belt states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. It is frankly bizarre for Democrats to swap out the man who talks ceaselessly about his hardscrabble Scranton upbringing for a Californian who boasts the most left-wing voting record of any presidential nominee in modern history." I'm feeling pretty good these days about that prognosis.

Last week nominations for the Noble Peace Prize were announced, and the nominees were typical of the Prize’s history. A perusal of past winners reveals that the majority of prizes are for good intention, moralizing internationalism and its institutions, short-lived peace treaties, feckless disarmament, and any choice that gratifies global anti-Americanism. And let’s not forget terrorists and their enablers included in this year’s nominees: the United Nations’ Palestinian refugee agency, the International Court of Justice, and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. All three reflect the Prize’s long history of promulgating globalism and the “rules-based international order” that has serially failed to deter aggression.

Totalitarianisms work by mass denial. Although living conditions can actually be bad, the public can be brainwashed through hypnotic sloganeering into willing reality away. The result is a kind of mass dishonesty called "preference falsification." But it is fragile. The danger for the hypnotist is if the public snaps out of it. Once the subject wakes up the problem for the hypnotist becomes reality itself. We all know the movie dialogue: "Say, where am I?" "Relax. Just look into my eyes. You are sleepy. Sleepy." "I asked you where am I? Where. Am. I?" Of course if the public really wakes up in a nice place it soon goes back to sleep

Bensman reports that Trump is known as 'el diablo' to the would-be illegal border crossers. On the campaign trail this month, former President Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to “close the federal Department of Education” and expand school choice — a wildly popular concept that cuts across party lines, new polling shows. Good news: If he wins the White House again, he can do both. The federal Department of Education is an unconstitutional waste of time and money. Its very existence arguably violates the Tenth Amendment: The word “education” appears nowhere in the Constitution. The federal government has spent well over a trillion dollars on K-12 education since the department’s inception, while failing to improve student performance.

The terror leader, who was responsible for the massacre of over 1200 people and the abduction of over 250, may be the key to securing the return of hostages, two sources told CNN. Israeli authorities are reportedly discussing how to leverage Sinwar’s remains.
