“Transphobia is child abuse,” Alex Roque, who runs the Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBTQ youth in New York City, asserted on a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) webinar last fall.
In less than three minutes, he cast a vision for completely transforming child protective systems nationwide. Family rejection of a child’s gender identity cannot be dismissed as a personal view, he argued. Non-affirmation must be treated as abuse. “If they were denying them food or denying them access to school or denying other things, there would be headlines,” Roque continued. “There would be prosecution.”

New Zealand’s defense minister issued stinging rebukes of what she said were “vile” and “misogynistic” online remarks by “armchair admirals” about the woman captain of a navy ship that ran aground, caught fire and sank off the coast of Samoa.
“Seriously, it’s 2024,” Judith Collins told reporters Thursday. “What the hell’s going on here?”
After days of comments on social media directed at the gender of Commander Yvonne Gray, Collins urged the public to “be better.” Women members of the military had also faced verbal abuse in the street in New Zealand since the ship — one of nine in the country’s navy — was lost on Sunday, Collins said. The Grand Rapid City Clerk’s Office has announced that it is resending 100 absentee ballots after the original ballots mysteriously disappeared in the mail.
Grand Rapids City Clerk Joel Hondorp revealed absentee ballots were sent out on September 26 but was later notified by 100 residents in northwest Grand Rapids that they never received them.
Hondrop shared, “It’s common for some absentee ballots to get lost because the United States Postal Service has many moving pieces.”
He added, “If a voter wants to know what the status of their ballot is, if they haven’t received it, they can go to Michigan.gov/vote and they can track their ballot that way.”

(The Hill) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) temporarily paused aid in parts of North Carolina this weekend after alleged threats targeted the agency’s personnel aiding in recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene.
Ashe County Sheriff Phil Howell said in a statement Sunday that FEMA personnel in North Carolina’s “mountain region” were targeted by threats, prompting FEMA to take precautionary steps and temporarily pause aid operations at other FEMA sites. Neither Ashe County nor its surrounding counties were targeted by the threats, Howell said.

FOX News Trump-hating RINO Bret Baier announced on Monday that he will be interviewing Kamala Harris on Wednesday.
In August Kamala Harris refused to debate President Trump on FOX News. But now, with her numbers sagging, Kamala is willing to sit with Trump-hating RINO Bret Baier for an interview that is assuredly going to be a free ride for the Democratic nominee.
Bret Baier has quite the record trashing President Trump.
In 2023, Baier attacked President Trump for his classified documents scandal but defended dirty Mike Pence after he lied about not holding classified documents at his home.

Vice President Kamala Harris expressed openness to reparations during a Tuesday interview with Charlamagne tha God.
Sixty-eight percent of Americans oppose reparations, a Pew Research poll found in 2022.
“It has to be studied, there’s no question about that, and I’ve been very clear about that position,” Harris told the radio host:
In terms of my immediate plan, I will tell you a few of the following one as it relates to the economy, which is a lot of what you have addressed. Look, I grew up in the middle class. My mother, you know, worked hard, raised me and my sister,

Vice President Kamala Harris raised doubts on Tuesday about whether November’s election will be “free and fair.”
Harris has not yet answered if she would support certifying a Trump victory, although she has been highly critical of Republicans who objected to President Joe Biden’s victory in 2020.
“Why are people acting like this is going to be a free and fair election and he won’t try to steal it?” Charlamagne tha God asked Harris.
Harris replied the election would only be “free and fair” if Americans “stand up for that.”
“It will be a free and fair election if we, the American people, stand up for that,”

A new ad on behalf of Kamala Harris called "Man Enough" was released Friday, and it's easily the most cringe-worthy you'll ever see. It just might win the election for Donald Trump.
(Video) "I'm a man," says a white man in a cowboy hat. "I'm a man," says a black guy lifting weights. "I'm a man," says the caricature of a bearded motorcycle club guy, and so on. As several more "masculine"-looking guys claim to be "a man," you get the feeling there's a punchline coming.
There isn't. The stand-ins for real men are all actors, and they are all unintentionally funny representations of what liberals think "men" are.

The Biden-Harris administration is giving Israel 30 days to improve humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza or else the US could halt military assistance, according to a letter sent to the Israeli military. The Oct. 13 letter, penned by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, threatens to pause the delivery of US weapons and aid to Israel unless the Jewish state provides assurance that humanitarian aid is flowing into Gaza unhindered, according to reports in Israeli media.

Last week former President Barack Obama sounded the alarm about losing the 2024 election against former president Donald Trump and berated black voters, specifically men, for failing to support Vice President Kamala Harris' bid for the White House. (
Video) The Democratic Party is panicking and today, Harris released a new agenda specifically targeted for black male voters. It includes the following:
(1) Providing 1 million loans that are fully forgivable to Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business.
(2) Championing education, training, and mentorship programs that help Black men get good-paying jobs in high-demand industries

J.D. Vance is SOOOO good at this.
The corporate media has been on a mission to destroy Donald Trump for almost a decade. They take swings at him, and he gives as good as he gets in the verbal fistfights. Think of it as a WWE fight where big bruisers slug it out.
The media taking on J.D. Vance, though, is something else entirely. The media assassins come at him with fists and occasionally a sword, and Vance whips out his gun and shoots them. Vance is a master at this kind of campaigning. I have never seen anybody better at dealing with the hostile media

Stuart Stevens of the Lincoln Project, a former campaign strategist for Mitt Romney's presidential run in 2012, suggests Republicans could "burn down" election centers in an effort to disenfranchise black voters.
Stevens was a guest of "Chris Jansing Reports" Tuesday, where he told the panel that Trump supporters might try to "violently disrupt" vote counts in predominantly black cities on Election Day.
He claims disputes over voting tallies in the previous election centered around cities that have a "high percentage of African-American voters," then presents a scenario in which the Trump campaign thinks they are in a losing position because of those locations.
