A pink-haired DEI trainer has slammed Oregon's forestry department for hiring on the basic of merit rather than identity.
Megan Donecker filed a complaint about her former boss Mike Shaw and moaned about him telling her that he sought the 'candidates most qualified for the job.'
DEI advocates like Donecker say hiring should be done through an 'intersectional lens' whereby applications from people of marginalized backgrounds are given greater weight.
Shaw, who earns $192,000-a-year as deputy head of Oregon's Department of Forestry, has been put on leave over Donecker's complaint.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer sparked disgust and anger on social media after she fed a Dorito to a kneeling podcaster in a video that went viral online.
The Michigan governor participated in an interview with feminist podcaster Liz Plank, but also published a short video of her feeding Nacho cheese Doritos to her as she knelt in front of the Michigan governor. [SNIP] It can only be described as a 'mockery of Catholics and the sacrament of Holy Communion' said the organization CatholicVote, adding 'not to mention the distasteful pornographic innuendo?'

Lebanese terror outfit Hezbollah has changed its tune: After spending weeks trumpeting an apocalyptic end for Israel, the cadre of bloodthirsty cowards is begging the Jewish state to let up.
“We support the political efforts led by [Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih] Berri under the banner of achieving a cease-fire,” whined Hezbollah deputy leader Naim Qassem — for the first time not conditioning a truce on an end to the war in Gaza. Turns out bravely attacking your enemies with uncanny precision and skill, rather than begging them for peace, is effective as a military strategy. Who knew?

Doug Emhoff, Kamala’s powerful lawyer hubby, admitted to impregnating his nanny during his first marriage. The status of the child is unknown, but there are allegations that she suffered a miscarriage. [SNIP] The media refused to report on the allegation and only reported on Emhoff’s denial of the allegation.
Half of the political world focused Wednesday on a Daily Mail report that second gentleman Doug Emhoff “forcefully slapped ex-girlfriend for flirting with another man” at Cannes in 2012. Others (including Semafor) haven’t matched the reporting, and as of Wednesday evening the incident didn’t appear in The New York Times or top outlets.

An exasperated North Carolina sheriff slammed the Biden-Harris administration’s offer to Hurricane Helene survivors of $750 in “immediate” relief funds, arguing it was nothing compared to what they gave Ukraine and because it requires access to the internet — which residents in the worst-hit areas still do not have.
“That lady that’s running for president talks about the $750. Heh — what about all that money you give to Ukraine and all these other people who really want to kill us and don’t want to do anything to help us. Why don’t you just give that money to them, that’s who you want to give it to to be begin with."

The Trump campaign called on CBS News’s 60 Minutes to release its full, unedited transcript with Vice President Kamala Harris.
60 Minutes, which aired Harris’s interview Monday night, spliced and diced the conversation, preventing voters from making up their own minds about her answers: “On Sunday, 60 Minutes teased Kamala’s highly-anticipated sit-down interview with one of her worst word salads to date, which received significant criticism on social media,” Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary,” wrote in a statement. “During the full interview on Monday evening, the word salad was deceptively edited to lessen Kamala’s idiotic response.”

Impeachable.
Biden decided to trade one of the world’s most dangerous arms dealers for a woke WNBA player to pander to what he thought was his base. There were plenty of warnings that this corrupt move would endanger Americans.
I warned that, “Biden undermined national security, freeing the ‘Merchant of Death’, an arms dealer with reported ties to Al Qaeda and Hezbollah, who had been busted trying to sell surface-to-air missiles to Marxist narcoterrorists who tried to sell 30,000 AK-47s to kill Americans.”
Now you’ll never guess what Viktor Bout, the Russian arms dealer freed by Biden, is up to now.

Hundreds of bereaved parents, siblings, children and others gathered Sunday at the Hangar 11 event hall in Tel Aviv for a memorial ceremony for families that lost loved ones at the October 7 Nova festival massacre, exactly a year ago. [SNIP] “I can’t digest that my beloved daughter was shot on her way home, while in her car. She had left the house to go to a beautiful festival, of music and peace,” said Orin Zach-Gantz, mother of Eden Zacharia, who was killed at the festival.

For too long we have harboured those who hate us. We are now a year on from the October 7 massacre that saw 1,200 innocent Israeli citizens tortured, raped and murdered by barbaric Hamas terrorists.
But for the 101 hostages that remain trapped in the hands of Hamas, including a Brit, the ordeal still isn't over. [SNIP] The response here in Britain to this evil attack exposed a profound sickness at the very heart of our society. Thousands immediately took to the streets here in the UK to celebrate the biggest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust.

The creeping normalization of Islamic terrorism by the media means that Islamic terrorist supporters celebrating the anniversary of Oct 7 are being rebranded in the blandest terms.

What is that ‘One Year of Resistance’? Why are there rallies on the anniversary of the worst Islamic massacre of Jews in centuries?

Chicago is functionally bankrupt. It’s also run by Mayor Brandon Johnson: an incompetent radical appointee of the CTU teachers’ union. The CTU demands included everything from free weight loss drugs to a $2.5 billion pay hike for a group of people who are less effective as educators than the Washington Generals were at playing basketball.
Union President Stacy Davis Gates said in early March that her proposed contract for 2024 to 2028 ‘will cost $50 billion and 3 cents.’
‘And so what?’ Davis Gates added. ‘That’s audacity. That’s Chicago.’

Deaths from fentanyl appear to be going down for the first time in a decade after reaching astronomic levels - but experts warn it's for 'horrific' reasons.
They say the drug is simply running out of people to kill, after claiming the lives of over 500,000 Americans in the last decade.
Drug overdoses killed about 107,000 Americans in the past year, down from a peak of 77,693 last summer. [SNIP]
But Dr Caleb Banta-Green, an addiction expert at the University of Washington, said it could be because so many users are already dead.
