Tim Walz's Self-Implosion Continues During
Press Gaggle, and John Fetterman's Reaction

Tim Walz continued his self-implosion on Wednesday as reporters pressed him on two of his worst moments during his debate against JD Vance. As RedState reported, Walz struggled throughout the night against Vance, who was far more poised and articulate, never mind having the issues on his side. There was one specific instance where the Minnesota governor was pushed on a falsehood he told about being in Hong Kong for the Tiananmen Square protests. Walz proceeded to melt down on stage, with an especially awkward moment toward the end of the exchange. Here's the video for those that didn't see it.

Comments:

Fetterman's reaction is hilarious!!

Comments are all true. What they have is a freakish inversion of the Mondale/Ferraro ticket. Both just as inept, and morally bankrupt. The question is whether they can cheat them in. It should be a 49 state landslide for Trump, in a just world. Only God knows the answer.

He brags about being friends with Hogg? It’s difficult to determine who is more clueless on that ticket. However, it does make a kind of twisted sense because both he and Hogg lied about where they were during huge events and both have tried to profit from their lies. Hogg’s lie got him into Harvard when he couldn’t get into a state university.

Word games can’t conceal the ‘third

Politically incorrect words don’t kill, but Venezuelan gangs do. Donald Trump this week warned rally-goers in a small Wisconsin community that “if Kamala is reelected, your town and every town . . . will be transformed into a third-world hellhole.” He’s repeatedly said that Biden-Harris open borders are turning New York into a “third world nation” and America into a “third world disaster” — and the rhetoric makes left-wing elites apoplectic. Never mind the violence perpetrated by migrant gangs and the societal disorder caused by open borders: Their problem is with the words. NPR says the term “third world” is “offensive.” Foreign Policy columnist Howard French calls it “utterly racist rhetoric.”

Kamala's been looking everywhere for the union label, but she just can't seem to find one. In the latest blow to her campaign, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has followed in the footsteps of the Teamsters union and declined to endorse a candidate in the 2024 presidential race. This breaks with a decades-long tradition of the IAFF endorsing nearly all Democrat presidential candidates. A post that appeared on the IAFF's X account Thursday stated that their executive board voted not to endorse after "taking unprecedented steps to hear our members' views and the policy issues that matter most to them" over the past year.

The federal government's disaster response agency doesn't have enough money to help Americans left in distress by Hurricane Helene after blowing billions on illegal migrants. Over the last two years, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has handed out more than $1 billion taxpayer dollars to specifically support illegal migrants with housing. But now there's no money to help out the 150,000 American citizens who have reached out for federal assistance after their homes were damaged by Hurricane Helene. 'FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season,' Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on Wednesday.

The devastation that Tropical Storm Helene inflicted on western North Carolina is still heartbreaking several days after the storm has passed. Countless North Carolinians are stranded in the mountains and valleys of that part of the state, many of them without medications or other things that they need to survive. Towns and cities like Asheville are dealing with widespread damage and power outages. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has several road and trail closures, even as U.S. 441, the main highway between Cherokee and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, remains open and passable. It's hard to describe how difficult people in North Carolina have it,

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got around to going to North Carolina and Georgia on Wednesday to review the damage from Hurricane Helene. But in the face of all the devastation that has happened in the region, what Harris had to say seemed to be pitifully lacking. Just as Biden did in Maui after the huge fire there when he promised $700, Harris promised a paltry sum of $750 payment to people, some of whom may just have lost everything. [Tweet, video] If you lost your home, that would barely pay for a few days in a hotel and food for a family.

Her prioritization of Hollywood stars over the millions victims of Hurricane Helene has resulted in a negative news cycle for her campaign.
