A Virginia school board must fork over more than $500,000 to a former French teacher who was fired in 2018 for refusing to use a transgender student’s preferred pronouns.
The teacher, Peter Vlaming, along with Christian legal group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed a lawsuit against the district, arguing his termination was a violation of his religious beliefs.
“I was wrongfully fired from my teaching job because my religious beliefs put me on a collision course with school administrators who mandated that teachers ascribe to only one perspective on gender identity—their preferred view,” Vlaming said in a statement following the settlement agreement.
Former U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, who was a witness in former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he will vote for Trump because he disagrees with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ policies.

Tim Walz continued his self-implosion on Wednesday as reporters pressed him on two of his worst moments during his debate against JD Vance.
As RedState reported, Walz struggled throughout the night against Vance, who was far more poised and articulate, never mind having the issues on his side. There was one specific instance where the Minnesota governor was pushed on a falsehood he told about being in Hong Kong for the Tiananmen Square protests. Walz proceeded to melt down on stage, with an especially awkward moment toward the end of the exchange. Here's the video for those that didn't see it.
This election cycle seems to have been going on since "The Munsters" was a primetime hit on television. I've checked and rechecked the calendar and — I kid you not — we are nearing the end of this thing. Given the amount of pro-Harris and anti-Trump B.S. we will have to wade through, these last five weeks may feel like another six months, but the end is truly nigh.
I mean the end of the election cycle, not the end of the world. Maybe.

Despite being pressured to resign in 2021 from his governor’s seat amid sexual harassment allegations, Cuomo believes he would fare well as the city’s next mayor. He reportedly still has millions of dollars left in his state campaign funds, which technically he can use.
According to the City and State of New York, Cuomo’s campaign has nearly $8 million. Adams’ campaign has only about $3 million in his war chest.

I don't know what the viewership numbers were on the vice presidential debate between Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, but if they're not high they should have been because that was one of the best debates I've ever watched in my time as a political junkie (which goes back a looong time).
Vance, as RedState previously reported, wiped the floor not just with Walz but also the CBS News debate moderators, who did what they weren't supposed to do at least twice in "fact-checking" Vance, only to have him refuse to be silenced by fact-checking them right back.
