During an interview with Bloomberg on Friday, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D) declared that “you can’t compromise on women’s right to choose. I don’t think that you can compromise on the fact that we’ve got women who are in danger of dying because doctors are afraid of the government coming in and getting between them and their patient.” And opposed a compromise on a ban on abortion after 15 or 16 weeks because “many of these cases are very complicated and often involve parents who really want to have children, but have extraordinary complications. This is an issue that should be left to women and their doctors.”

Perhaps dem strumpets should learn how to read. They might avail themselves of prevention products before they kill a baby that I do not want to pay for. It's available in drugstores don't you know.

Gee who woulda thought that he is an obgyn with relevant experience and statistics. I’ll bite. I will bet that 905 of abortions are for convenience and 1% are really for women’s health.

Cooper went on to say, "It is OK to kill 10,000 babies if it saves the life of just one mother." Not really, but that is exactly what he means.

The women made a choice to have sex. There are numerous methods of birth control available. However, the best birth control is to say no. It works every time.

Folks, calm down, please. What you have to understand is that this Cooper is a well-meaming fellow but he’s just an ignorant ATTORNEY who received his JD from a state-run school, UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA, and so he needs the counsel of a wise DOCTOR who received his MD from a real university, strangely enough, one only 9 miles down the road—DUKE UNIVERSITY. And I just happen to know one who is ready to do that. Stand by, Roy, deliverance is at hand.

There are provisions for "extraordinary complications" of a physical nature. Those do not justify a push for no restrictions. Can the hysterical hyperbole.

Interesting. Our "enlightened " European friends have 15 or 16 week restrictions.
I'm not going to argue on the legitimate rape and incest or life of the mother issues. Those are serious, personal issues and at most 2-3% of cases.

A quick look indicates that black babies are aborted (killed) at about 3-1/2 times the rate that white babies are killed. (link:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7436774/)
Given the disparity in rates, is it not correct to say that Abortion as practiced in America is RACIST?
Just asking.

Get back to me when you have obtained permission for the abortion from the baby.

Such Hyperventilation and Histrionics from Leftist Humanists. Such fools.
The better question to answer is, "Why are so many women in this country so incredibly irresponsible?"
After all, we do know what causes pregnancy, as well as how to prevent it, beginning with abstinence!
----
Compare by nations on this Chart,
sorted by various columns(categories) in order to see how the U.S.A. stacks up with the world's most and least.
----
Personal Conclusion: High abortion rates seem to be higher in poorer, less developed nations, with more tyrannical governments.
----
So the "abortion argument" seems to take its supporters into a "dark place" akin to an unspoken desire to shut down electric power plants, and returning to an "off grid" lifestyle, like most of the top-ranking countries in the Chart.
Equivalence arguments are commonly employed by the Leftist "Globalistas" when they want to make Conservatives look like thick-necked, hunch-backed, mono-browed, single-syllable grunting Neanderthals compared to our European origin countries. They employ this on things like "K-12 Teacher Pay," "Electric Vehicle Ownership per capita," etc., UNTIL they get to Abortion Stats (see Chart ) on that is.
Google has searches for this abortion data pigeonholed, while articles & data on "Abortion Laws" and "Abortion Rights" by nation dominate. It seems they're more proud of their "Laws" but not of their actual numbers. It also seems like this is indeed an issue of "control" of a person's body, and "reproductive rights," but not by the political party most often accused of promoting such draconian measures.

We would be better off if some of these women with multiple abortions died instead of murdering their children.

Well, Cooper, your stolen election time is just about up, so who cares what you think or want. Shut up. Show me a doctor afraid of killing babies and dealing with the government as a result. Leftists absolutely want to get between a woman and her doctor. They've done it with all of us. They need to stop lying about their concern for freedom and rights. They don't care about either and do everything they can to thwart both.

This is a State issue now, so the ball's in your court, governor. Let women and their doctors and all other voters in N. Carolina vote on abortion restrictions (if any).
