A Harris campaign aide who focuses on climate change once promoted the anti-natalist view that the potential for widespread environmental destruction is a reason not to have children.
Camila Thorndike, the climate engagement director for Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign, told the Washington Post in 2022 that fears of climate change have factored into her hesitation to have children.
“It’s coming partly from a place of love for my hypothetical child,” she said.

It's not new. With Boomers the existential hesitancy was due to fear of nuclear war.

Her bigger fear should be if the democrat party is in charge for the next 30-40 years.

Thank you, Camila, for making the world a better place even though only hypothetically. We really don't need our collective IQ to drop any lower than it already has. But, I don't think we really need to worry....if this unfortunate hypothetical child should ever morph into a real fetus I'm pretty sure Camila will make a beeline to the closest PP. Let's hope this make believe child remains that way.

This is one of the most anti-child positions ever argued. She is not protecting future "hypothetical" children, she is psychologically abusing all children who exist now. She is telling them that they are bad for the environment, that they should not exist, and inculcating a nihilistic view of life that subtlety drives them to suicide. You wonder why we now have school shooters? This person is the part of the answer. This person and her idol, Kamala Harris, are the barren childless dead-enders who lack courage to even raise a child and are not capable of uplifting a country. They ought not ever be entrusted with a whole generation of children.
In a fight for survival, you will not get the words of Churchill. "Never. never, never give up." Instead, you will get "Oh, well, they were going to die anyway. I am going to bed."

If she and her like-minded companions in the "Stop Climate!" movement are truly concerned, they might want to cut down on exhaling, too. All those emissions are at least as noisome as bovine flatulence.
I suggest they cut down 5% each year. It will make the earth a happier place.

Move to Dallas; the climate hasn't changed here- a little cooler if anything. A little more rain than some decades I remember. I remember perhaps 60 years ago as little boy having to go with my father to fill up water jugs at a central location provided by the city of Arlington (near Dallas) because of drought. No droughts like that anymore.
The 1999-2000 time from was hotter than h---. 1980 was really hot. Nothing like that any more. Still hot, but pleasant in comparison.
Where do you come up with this climate change phobia, fool? You haven't experienced it. Even your $cientists say it'll be 1 degree for 100 years, so it's not noticeable.
You've fallen for the Greenhouse Gas-Lighting.

Due to the horrific threat posed by the dreaded Climate Change I have opted to stop eating Brussel Sprouts, kale, and chocolate covered ants. And to withdraw my proposal of marriage to Taylor Swift.
