A Harris campaign aide who focuses on climate change once promoted the anti-natalist view that the potential for widespread environmental destruction is a reason not to have children. Camila Thorndike, the climate engagement director for Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign, told the Washington Post in 2022 that fears of climate change have factored into her hesitation to have children. “It’s coming partly from a place of love for my hypothetical child,” she said.

Brian Lozenski, an associate professor of urban and multicultural education at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minn., was appointed by Governor Tim Walz’s state education department to help write the statewide “implementation framework” (similar to a curriculum) for Minnesota’s new “ethnic studies” standards. It now emerges that Lozenski has called for the “overthrow” of the United States.
Lozenski is no outlier. On the contrary, he has been the leading voice advocating the addition of a radical version of “ethnic studies” to Minnesota’s social-studies standards (citizenship and government, economics, geography, history, and now ethnic studies).

It was stupid for him to criticize the next President of the United States, but if he wanted to do that, it was his right.

Local news outlets are typically more trusted than national outlets by the residents of a given state. By pushing a headline bragging about a major endorsement from "The Keystone Newsroom," an air of credibility is given to the claim.

On Tuesday, President Biden reaffirmed his decision to withdraw from Afghanistan in his fourth and final speech in front of world leaders at the United Nations Assembly.
