There will not be a second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. On Thursday, the former president announced that he wasn't interested in a rematch and then proceeded to slam Harris. When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, “I WANT A REMATCH.” Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate. She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our Country, with millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked

Trump has my vote BUT...
1. He lost the debate on STYLE and badly. Ie., his image was tarnished while Harris' was polished a bit.
2. He SHOULD want another debate in order to show the world that he has at least some self control
3. This gives Harris/Walz the chance to call him out as a chicken. That is not a good look

Trump should not have another debate... he is smart to do this and continue to tell the world that he beat both the President and Vice President in a debate. When they laugh, mock, sneer, etc... and call him a coward for not having another debate - tell them that he get to work on that debate which will be the last Tuesday in October on Newsmax and when they cry... tell them: 1) She rejected Foxnews debate and 2) what is good for the goose is good for the gander as he went into liberal-hell and now, she has to come over to conservative truth if she wants a debate... ask her if she has enough courage to come to a newsmax debate... argument over, mic dropped!

Why should have another debate and face he Cackler and her media allies..
He was outnumbered from the start and he knew it, facing Kamala's lies and the Moderator's fact checks against him and none for Kamala.

So Harris will be forced to go to the media for exposure, slick and dishonest ads won't cut the mustard.

#1, if you are going to vote for Trump, “BUT”, you’re going to need a thicker skin. President Trump is many things but a chicken is not one of them. As far as what anyone on the left calls him, they will call him that no matter what he does. Best try not to give them ammunition from our side.

I think he is right not to have another debate with her.
Imho, they need to fact check her and ABC to distraction on this debate - not put it behind him, let the media flood the market with fresh lies and more fakery in another debate, and allow them to get away with this one.
Now is the time to hammer down on the truth, further expose her lies, and remind that she is the sitting Vice President of the United States with 4 years of opportunity to actually have done, and not just talk about, what she would do with another four years.

I watched the debate. Trump did NOT lose to kamala on style. She didn't cackle as much, and she strung plenty of sentences together. But, how can anyone get past her smug, stupid looks and weirdly staring at him? That's style? Miss me with that. The voters are smarter than that, I'm glad to say, in this case. They weren't sold on "style." Everybody's supposed to hate Trump, but clearly people don't like her.

I was squarely for another debate (I use the term loosely) until I read the article.

Hold your horses L Dotters. Remember "The Art of the Deal." This could all be the beginning of a negotiation. Like Trump often says, " Lets see what happens." Got to love it.

I think it's smart to NOT agree to any further debates, and be should make a public statement why. The fact is that the media cannot be trusted to act professionally and neutrally. Everyone agrees that the ABC moderators were biased and blatantly inserted themselves as aggressive opponents of Trump, almost like a debating tag team for Kamala.
Furthermore, Trump should demand a public apology from ABC not just for their unprofessionalism but also for their gross errors in fact checking.
Put the monkey on their backs for responding with a public apology.

I agree with #10 -- take it directly to the people, with their questions, NOT previously submitted/vetted/censored, replies off the cuff. P:resident Trump shines.
Rallies, soundbites and snapshots (yeah, I'm a Dan Bongino fan) of harris's previous policies/statements abound on the internet. Remember the morning in America ad? If old, overused, does that make the message less true/false/effective? A younger audience has no reference: make it contemporary, adjust to current dismal maladies. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC1kYjH9nY0 (full length) While the ad is long, these issues/concerns remain. TV and social media ads are effective these days -- use to President Trump's advantage, frequently and strategically.
#12: I agree: make it a TV ad, with harris's prevarications/word salads.

Why should Mr. Trump submit himself to yet another unfair fight? Did he perform well Tuesday night? Many think not. But things might have been different had ABC not been in the tank for Harris. Even former Clinton officials -- no friends of Republicans, especially any named Trump -- say there should be an investigation of ABC.

1, how exactly did she win on style?
Trump was Trump.
Kamala was clearly acting and just spewing out rehearsed lines to the questions she got in advance.
In what way was her style of fake broken voice edge of tears, random cackling, fake laugh and fake everything a good look?
Maybe we watched a different debate.

So let's see #1. Donald Trump has shown up for everything that has been thrown at him since he decided to run in 2016. He had to listen to all of the Russian collusion lies, impeachment trial after impeachment trial, the antics of the 2020 election, court trial after court trial because he decided to run again in 2024, and he was present when they decided to take a shot at him on July 13. Your comment "He SHOULD want another debate in order to show the world that he has at least some self control" makes me want to laugh. Self control - he has had more self control than I could ever have mustered. Don't even get me started on the "calling him chicken" comment.
If I were to agree to any of your suggestions, that would make me think that Kamala Harris is a legitimate candidate. She is not as she did not primary.

Presidential debates used to be venues where candidates could take their message directly to the voters whose undivided attention they got for 90 minute. This 3 against 1 farce is a travesty. I would devote all that resource and energy to directly talk to the people. A Townhall type venue where citizens can ask direct question is a place where Kamala dare not follow. Fox, Newsmax, even Megyn Kelly would do.

So sick of hearing about "style" when it comes to the President of the USA. How about policies that will benefit the USA? Kamala scored some style points by taking cheap shots and making faces but she didn't score any points on substance with respect to her policies. And lest anyone forget here, we already know how Trump performs as President. And the only reason Kamala wants another debate now, when she initially only agree to the one, was because she thinks she winning now.

Self-control was not punching that lying witch in her laughing face. Trump had every reason to be irritated with the whole show. It would be a waste of Trump's time to debate her again because the lies will not change, even after the fact checking.

When the affidavit from the ABC whistleblower is released this weekend, attesting to the facts that Not only did ABC give the debate questions to Harris before the debate, but they promised that their moderators would fact check and interrupt Trump exclusively while supporting Harris, we'll see how the LeftMedia responds when the truth comes out.

Anyone still claiming to be ‘undecided’ at this point is either a fool or just lying to get attention. The contrast between Trump and Harris couldn’t be starker. Harris has been exposed as a radical liberal. There is plenty of evidence without her saying a word. Presidential debates are political theater for the media and serve no purpose this late in the game.

All that smirking, laughing, head shaking, hand flailing, fake outrage, hand on the chin pose is now called style? I would argue that SHE had no "self control". I commend President Trump for his, considering all the lies, insults, and pure vitriol she spewed at him. What a ridiculous comment, what a troll.

#1, that wasn't a "debate" as much as it was a poorly performed campaign ad for Komrade Kamala with assists from two paid "Moderators" from ABC/DNC News. The only thing Trump was guilty of was letting them get under his skin, but I dare say that any of us would have fallen prey to such disgusting tactics. "Style" is overrated. Trump landed some devastating "body blows." While Trump came away with a little puffy face from the encounter, Harris was admitted to hospital with lacerated liver, punctured lung, and ruptured spleen. So then, who won?

Trump scored some heavy hits on Comrade Harris like calling her out for being a Marxist daughter of a Marxist economist and See Spot Run. He went way over and above the call of duty but my guess it was worth it to introduce the vapid over-prepped aided and abetted poseur Kumalot to a worldwide audience. I would agree with Trumps analogy of a prizefighter that lost.

So...?

Harris wanting another debate is like a battering spouse telling their partner that they won't batter them again. Why in the world would President Trump want to subject himself again to Leftist media who hate him, want him destroyed/assassinated? Kamala wouldn't agree to a conservative moderator for a debate, so what's the point of another debate? So President Trump, we agree with you, Harris isn't worth it to debate. She's not even an legitimate candidate. She's there because of a coup.

Now that we know, from Linsey Davis herself, that she, David Muir and the ABC executives were scheming to protect Harris it should be viewed and considered a campaign donation to Harris with Trump being allowed the same amount of time to broadcast his views.
I do agree with #1 that Trump needs to be more polished going forward. They intended to get him off his game and look out of control.
He also needs to realize that the news shows will only repeat his worst moments and not cover anything else.
