During a press conference at the Venice Film Festival for their new film Queer, director Luca Guadagnino and actor Daniel Craig were asked if there could ever be a gay James Bond onscreen.
During the Tuesday presser, as the panel spoke about Guadagnino’s film, one reporter brought up James Bond. With actor Daniel Craig — who was the most recent Bond — and Guadagnino directing Craig in his gay-themed movie both sitting there on the panel, a reporter wondered if the two themes could be mixed and if there might be a gay Bond in the future, The Hollywood Reporter wrote.

Yeah, let's see a trans-gender female to male James Bond, taking on the typical Bond villan henchmen, not to mention the henchwomen.

The characteristics of James Bond have been definitively cannonized via numerous books and movies. You risk alienating billions of Bond fans by messing with that. You want a gay alpha action hero spy character? Be bold, be brave, be creative. Write yourself a new one. See who's willing to pay to see that. But a gay James Bond is not James Bond.

How about a black trans Bond? I guess that would kind of rule out a blond girlfriend named Pussy Galore.

From Wikipedia, critical response --
"The Times found the film to be visually appealing but lacking in substance.."
We don't need no stinking substance, grrr...

Actually, I could more easily see a gay James Bond than a female James Bond, or a trans James Bond. Of course, I doubt I would have any interest in watching the movie, but I could see it as a believable take on the James Bond franchise.

More proof that liberals are so “open-minded” that all their brains fell out.

Anyone who isn't on a hollywood blacklist are a pack of perverts with no morals and one goal: be the center of attention and have sex with everything in sight.

Craig was my least favorite Bond. His acting ability runs from A to B.

I thought Bond was supposed to be a handsome, cool dude. What part of Craig fits that? None. I couldn't believe it when I saw he was the new Bond. Go ahead and spend a few hundred million on a gay Bond. Just don't expect it to be a hit or even break even.
