Scott, fresh off an overwhelming reelection victory and one of three candidates for Senate Republican Leader, explained how he would work to realize the mandate the American people gave Trump.“I believe in the Trump agenda,” Scott told Breitbart News. “He has a mandate. We need a way to make sure what he started happens.” Scott, who arrived in the Senate half during Trump’s first turn, knows what challenges are ahead for the Senate during Trump’s next term, telling Breitbart News that Democrat Leader

Thirty-six of the 50 states in the U.S. require voters to provide some form of identification to cast a ballot, according to the NCSL. Of these, 12 do not require a photo ID. Failed presidential candidate and ultra-neocon Nikki Haley has responded to President-elect Donald Trump’s announcement that she will not be invited to join his second administration.
Trump posted to Truth Social on Saturday that Haley and Mike Pompeo will not be part of his team.
“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” Trump wrote. “I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country.

It's an unseasonably warm 72 degrees in Washington, D.C. today - but conditions looked downright icy in the VIP viewing area at Arlington National Cemetery.
Jill Biden, eyes hidden behind sunglasses, looked stoic as she sat next to Kamala Harris while her husband, President Joe Biden delivered his Veterans Day address.
The first lady stared straight ahead as the vice president grinned and leaned into husband Doug Emhoff, who sat on her other side. There have long been reports there is no love lost between Jill Biden and Harris, a feud tracing back to the 2020 Democratic primary when Harris attacked Joe Biden during the first primary debate.

Vice President Kamala Harris paid Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions $1 million, just one example of millions the campaign spent on various entertainers during the vice president’s failed bid for president.
The Harris campaign paid $1 million to Winfrey’s company on October 15, according to a report in the Washington Examiner, coming after a star-studded town hall that Winfrey hosted for the vice president in September.
Winfrey also appeared at Harris’ final rally in Philadelphia on the eve of Election Day, with the talk show star offering a rare endorsement of a presidential candidate.

Columbia University activists are planning a protest of Veterans Day — which organizers want to “reclaim” from the “Israel-US war machine” in the name of Palestinians killed in Gaza.
The unsanctioned student group Columbia University Apartheid Divest is circulating flyers for the event — set for Monday on the Ivy League school’s main Morningside Heights campus.
“Veterans Day is an American holiday to honor the patriotism, love of country, and sacrifice of veterans. We reject this holiday and refuse to celebrate it,” a flyer for the agitator group’s event said.
“The American war machine should not be honored for the horrors unleashed on others,” the flyer added.

Conservative media pundit Tucker Carlson is warning of a potential “coup” against President-elect Donald Trump as three senators eye to replace longtime Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Carlson is urging Trump supporters to call their senators and demand they support Rick Scott (R-FL). On Tuesday, Republicans secured the Senate— leaving the door open for for someone to replace McConnell. Republican John Coryn (TX), John Thune (SD), and Scott are seeking to take McConnell’s seat.
However, Carlson has an issue with two of the men.

John Hinckley Jr., the failed assassin who shot former President Ronald Reagan, responded to requests to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump by stating that he is a “man of peace now.”
“I’m a man of peace now!” Hinckley wrote in a post on X. “Please stop with all the negative comments!” Hinckley’s post comes months after Trump survived two assassination attempts on his life. On July 13, 2024, at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from the rooftop of a nearby building where he had a direct line of sight of Trump. Trump ended up being shot by “a bullet that

The historian and political scientist Allan Lichtman has blamed “misogyny, racism and xenophobia” for getting his prediction about who would win the White House so catastrophically wrong.
Lichtman, who is best known for devising electoral prediction system known as ‘The Five Keys to the White House,’ said in an interview with CNN that the American people were simply not “pragmatic” enough to be able to predict the election correctly.
He explained:
The Keys to the White House depend upon a rational, pragmatic electorate deciding it based on guidance rather than depending upon if the party should get four more years.

Elon Musk was critical of Saturday Night Live's portrayal of him via Dana Carvey in the NBC staple's first episode since Donald Trump's election victory.
The Tesla & X CEO, 53, fired off a series of tweets on his platform X/Twitter Sunday in response to the segment in which Carvey mimicked the physical gestures Musk made while on the campaign trail with Trump.
'SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality,' said the Pretoria, South Africa-born magnate, who hosted the show's May 8, 2021 episode.
