Judge Tanya Chutkan on Friday caved to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s request to delay the next hearing in the January 6 case against Trump.
Jack Smith’s January 6 case against President Trump is now back with Judge Tanya Chutkan following the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling.
The Supreme Court last month ruled 6-3 that Trump has absolute immunity for his core Constitutional powers.
Former presidents are entitled to at least a presumption of immunity for their official acts, according to the Supreme Court.

President Joe Biden will campaign alongside Vice President Kamala Harris as an ousted 2024 candidate.
Harris will travel to the heavily Democrat state of Maryland alongside her former boss to “discuss the progress they are making to lower costs for the American people” as inflation continues to plague the U.S. Despite staying relatively quiet since being forced out of the race, Biden seeks to drill his legacy into Americans and focus his attention on his policies, such as infrastructure and lowering drug prices.
The Harris campaign previously said it would “strategically” place Biden in states he won in 2020,

Vice President Kamala Harris is using the same speech over and over again on the campaign trail, adding fuel to criticism that she is unable to speak without a script prepared by her handlers.
The pattern was noticeable in Harris’s speech on Tuesday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she introduced Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. Her introductory remarks on that occasion mirrored her remarks last month, when she first addressed campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. Here is what she said (with audience interjections) in Philadelphia: Now, many of you know, before I was elected Vice President or elected a United States Senator, I was an elected attorney general, and before that,

Vice President Kamala Harris selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her Democratic running mate, offering a balance of different races and genders -- if you're one of those traditionalists who still believes in those binaries. But their ideology is a pretty strong match. Walz is especially "progressive" on abortion on demand, on pushing "gender-affirming care" for kids and on fawning over illegal immigrants with taxpayer-funded benefits like free college tuition. They'll claim Walz represents "Midwestern values," and then you see he supported tampon machines in male bathrooms in public schools, and he couldn't oppose the idea that pedophilia
