Kyle Rittenhouse used a social media video message to announce he will not vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. Instead, Rittenhouse says he will write in Ron Paul for president. Rittenhouse, the Outreach Director for Texas Gun Rights, said, “Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisors, making him bad on the Second Amendment, and that is my issue.” He added, “If you cannot be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment, I will not vote for you, and I will write somebody else in. We need champions for the Second Amendment or our rights would be eaten away and eroded each day. I support my decision and I have no takebacks.”

As we've reported here frequently over the years, it's long been known that the various COVID relief programs turned out to be a favorite target for scammers, who lined up in massive numbers to vacuum cash out of programs that were hastily put in place with little to no oversight of where the money was going. The losses mounted into the tens of billions. Some of the thieves were eventually identified and prosecuted, but most of the money will never be recovered. Chevron Taking Its Headquarters To Texas

U.S. oil and gas giant Chevron announced Friday it will relocate its corporate headquarters from its long-time location in San Ramon, California to Houston, Texas in the coming months.
In a release, the company said chairman and CEO Mike Wirth and vice-chairman Mark Nelson will relocate to Houston by the end of this year, with remaining headquarters employees to make a gradual migration over the next five years. Employees who support the company’s remaining California operations will remain in San Ramon. Currently, Chevron has 2,000 employees in California, and 7,000 in various Texas locations.
Friday’s announcement seems symbolic of the diminishing presence of both Chevron and the oil industry itself in California.

Donald Trump announced late Friday night that he has accepted an offer from Fox News to debate Kamala Harris in September.
The former president said in a Truth Social post the debate would be held in Pennsylvania on Sept. 4 and hosted by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
Harris has wanted Trump to stick to the scheduled Sept. 10 debate on ABC News which was originally slated to be a showdown between Trump and President Biden.
