President Joe Biden is reportedly planning to unveil a dramatic Supreme Court reform next week in an attempt to overhaul the high court.
Two people familiar with the matter told Politico that the president is likely to endorse establishing term limits for justices, and bring in a code of ethics.
The 81-year-old is expected to push for an amendment that would limit immunity for presidents and other officeholders. His amendment would come directly after the court ruled that presidents are shielded from prosecution for officials acts, in a case brought by Donald Trump.
According to the outlet, the specifics remain unclear and could still change sources said.

Yes - - we're all certain that Despicable Joe authored this complex plan - - when he wasn't busy solving simultaneous differential equations - - and curing cancer.
We're all very sad that there may never be such a multi-talented president again - - except for the demonrat establishment - - which just booted him out.

Rule by Supreme Court. What form of government is that? It's certainly not representative government. It's not Democracy.

In the USA, our government philosophy uses a system of checks and balances to suppress concentrations of power and the oppression that kind of power engenders. We all know that JB is proposing this "reform" to overcome this primary principle.

The President of the United States has no authority over the Supreme Court other than appoint members to be authorized by Congress. To make any changes to the Supreme Court's organization and authority would require a Constitutional Convention.
Those two idiots in the White House have made enough of a mess out of our country and they need to be held in check until 2025 when hopefully, Donald Trump will be President again and get us out of the horrible mess we are in. If Harris gets in we will be at war with the Chino Russia alliance and we will be done for.

Ever notice when the 'Rats want to change something, the Lamestreams always call it a 'Reform', as to 'reform' and fix something that's broken and not working, or sending some teen who has gotten into trouble to 'REFORM' school?
Who is the old corrupt codger that is against 'REFORM'?
How can YOU be against REFORM?
Beware of the 'Rat's language!

Yup, such a change would require a change to the Constitution, just like the 2 term presidential limit did. Biden is a moron and all of this is a PR act by the terrified dems who see their "rule by agency" collapsing. The SCOTUS has handed Trump a huge broom for his second term to sweep out the government, especially agency heads of the DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc. who previously saw themselves immune from such house cleaning by a new administration.

Subject to death, resignation, or impeachment, Const. Art. III, Sec. 1 effectively provides life terms for all federal judges. Under Art. III, Sec. 1, the judicial power of the United States is vested in the Supreme Court. Congress may not legally intrude upon or limit such power with enforceable ethics rules created or enforced by either of the other branches. The only way to provide term limits for both members of Congress and federal judges is to amend the Constitution.

It’s just a leftist and progressive Democrat political move that will never happen, they would have to change the US Constitution first and that will never occur before Biden fades away and will start his forever term pushing up daisies.

Just ANOTHER effort to try go around the Constitution and to attempt to use "law" to get rid of LAW.
This is not a thoughtful and reasoned idea by the Vegetable-- it is strictly to exact revenge on curbs of his dictatorial efforts to upend society as we know it under the direction of his puppetmaster NoBama.
Mark Levin published a well thought out book called "The Liberty Amendments" in 2013 suggesting term limits on both representatives of Congress and the Supreme Court. The book was a best seller and used processes to correctly amend the Constitution the way the Founders suggested, NOT in a whim or anger. It and others he has authored are very pertinentm

If Biden wants to propose code of conduct for the Supreme Court t should apply to all three branches of government.
