On Saturday July 13th, there was a “colossal failure” of security, according to the Director of the Secret Service Kimberly Cheatle. (Photo)
The ‘colossal failure’ resulted in an alleged sniper Thomas M. Crooks taking shots at President Trump from the rooftop of the AGR Building in Butler, Pennsylvania. (Photo) Details from the incident have been sparse, but the few that emerged have been wildly inconsistent. The Gateway Pundit conducted an interview with Dr. Mollie James, an expert in Emergency Room gunshot wounds, having had nearly 20 years experience dealing with such situations.

The assassin is deader than Marley;s ghost. Kudos to the SSS who did the job. This is silly. He didn't die of heat stroke. The SS couldn't shoot until the assassin. fired. You can just shoot people at a crowd because they are acting strange. President Trump is fortunate to be alive. He needs to get his own security team.

Something smells, something is not right. I don't have the answers but I'm smart enough to know something is up. This was not a lone 20 year old taking shots at Trump with the world's stupidest person as head of the SS in office.

Three guns in three different places in ~15 seconds. This is made out to be a lone gunman on the roof. This whole thing is a lie and your Uncle Sam is tryna convince you your wet leg is due to the rain.

Longer range shot, results in lower velocity. Center of skull hit versus peripheral hit, very different results.
Energy for 'spray' is kinetic energy, which is proportional to velocity SQUARED. So, shoot at 25 yds with a .energy is near max. By 250 or 200 yards, energy in the bullet has dropped dramatically, to about 50-60%.
Much less dramatic results at lower energy.
And bullet design makes a huge difference a bullet designed for hunting deer will cause much more damage than a bullet designed for target shooting. Actually, most sniper ammo is target ammo, since accuracy is more important than terminal effects.
MAYBE there is something here, maybe not. LOTS and LOTS of variables.
And Trump lets slip that the countersniper shot was from "much farther away", which implies much lower velocity, dramatically lower energy. HOW much farther away? Is that 300 yards, still a fairly short sniper shot. Or really long, like 600,800 or 1,000 yards. I have used a high grade sniper rifle in training and made a group at 980 yards that you could cover with the palm of your hand. I'm pretty decent shot, but
I don't do it for a living.
If the shot was truly long, say 600 to 1000 yards, energy at 600 yards is 40% of close range energy. And at 1,000 yards energy is down to 20% of close range energy. Actually the energy at those ranges is into the range of some handgun ammo.
Splatter effects depend on velocity, which is highly range dependent. Also bullet design makes a huge difference. And centered hit versus edge hit, HUGE difference. Once you've shot a number of animals, you realize that predictions of terminal ballistics aren't very consistent at all.
I'm not convinced that this is any sort of conclusive. And I tend to think that if the shot was very long, from some very much unexpected location, they will want to keep that sort of thing quiet so future would be assassins don't know what to expect.

Caliber makes a difference too.
.308 vrs 300 wm. I know a retired navy sniper who used a 300wm shooting 190g fmj in a bolt gum and 175g when he used a M15.
Distance and point of impact has everything to do with splatter.
And a fmj 223 using 77g at distance will cut down on splatter even more.

It didn't pass through the entire skull, it exited the back of his neck, on the right side. The only blood loss was whatever was actually IN his cranium...the body was on an incline, other overhead angles show a stream of blood(and/or other bodily fluids) than ran all of the way down the roof and off the edge.

I read that the fatal shot on Crooks, possibly a suppressed .308 Winchester (7.62 x 51 mm), entered his head an inch or so below the left eye and exited below his right ear. The b&w "death photo" would seem to confirm that. From whatever distance it's fired, a shot on that line will be fatal, whether by shock or, if it's higher, the scattering of blood, bone, and gray matter. This shot killed the assassin, but might not have severed any arteries or large veins, hence, not a blood fountain, just a two dimensional corse with a head wound. It probably played havoc with his tongue and dental work, though. The knock of a 175 gr rifle bullet into any part of the head is probably fatal.

Recall that almost a few minutes after the shooting our trustworthy fbi was on top of the roof and hosed everything down. Odd, isn't it, normally a crime scene is preserved for some time. One would think the fbI idiots might know that. But perhaps it was done so that no evidence can be found that links this assassination attempt back to them. I am only guessing.

I see many signs of possible collusion between the agents on sight the deceased shooter, and possibly FBI and ATF.
Early reports had the shooter on his right side of the roof behind the peak as he took his shots. Why? The shooter was almost on the left side of said roof (Shooters perspective). If he had been where the media reported, he would have been almost under the 'police counter sniper team ine the second story of the AGR annex. Consider that.
Almost 48 hours reporting totally incorrect news.
Here's what i suspect: Crooks was told to take his position in front of the 'police counter snipers'. But nervous, he failed to hit his mark, instead setting up almost 50-60 feet away. His orders are to wait until he hears the shots of the real sniper, then open up.
Trump is shot, Crooks begins firing. Sniper team behind Trump picks him off fairly quickly. Police sniper team claim to have taken shots, but missed.
Trump, however, is alive. Crooks the Patsy, is dead. Real shooter no longer has a clear shot without revealing themselves. On Top of the Water tower, Man in Gray suit surveys the scene.
Real shooters were possibly the police counter sniper team. If they did shoot at Crooks, there should be evidence in bullet holes in the AGR roof. I bet there aren't any. The shell casing they have to account for are however covered by the story. They need to be checked on that, and asked why they didn't notice Crooks moving up the roof for his shot. Also, the window on the second floor opens out and to the left - toward where Crooks was. Was it broken from shots fired? Because that is the only way they'd have a clear shot at Crooks.
Man in Gray from the water Tower, bulls in and demands copies of the crime scene photos sent to his phone... which is why we know who he is. He is a former ATF agent, now heading DC police as lead on protection for foreign dignitaries. What is he doing in Butler, PA, pretending to be USSS? He's also, reportedly, gone dark.
Trump's USSS detail, reportedly is not USSS. His regular detail was pulled "Due to overwork". The new agents are from Homeland Security Investigative division. They are not trained in USSS protocols or procedures. Most also aren't as tall as Trump, there fore making a dubious shield. Probably why they threww his shoes away.
Crooks was groomed, alright. By agents of the Deep State. Choose and Alphabet combo. But he was supposed to die, to kill Trump and let the real killers slip away unnoticed and unremarked, as the Daley Park Assassins, slipped away for decades leaving Oswald as the only know identity of an Assassin. It was the Deep State, exemplified by the CIA or FBI, then, It's the Deep State, now.
They will try again.

Re #11, EXCELLENT point. I remembered that many urban police snipers use .223 Remington ammo, not .30 cal. And typical of their ammo is Hornady TAP load, intended literally for urban police sniper work.
Their 75gr TAP Urban .223 starts at 2750 fps, and is at about 1700 fps at 500yds, down to the same energy as 9mm pistol, and these are not intended to expand.

Re #16. Confirmed? Not even remotely. IMO, there is zero reason to dream up a 'second shooter'.
There is NOTHING to indicate that this guy from this position couldn't have fired the three shots which were heard. All the rest, after a short delay was a flurry of countersniper shots from different locations. IMO, we will probably NOT be told all the locations where countersnipers were sited, and that seems like a good idea.
Potential bad actors already know too much about protection detail plans and methods.

I keep haring people say that TRUMP was surrounded by Secret Service what he was shot but they were too many that were too short to protect him. There was nobody on stage with him when shot. They did jump up soon after that but too late.

I just realized Cheatle resigning means there is no one to question. They will shuffle around and claim no one has all the information and Biden isn't competent to appoint a successor. It may be months, while they test trial balloons, before we learn anything and you won't be able to trust, anything you hear.

#18 brings up a scenario similar to one I heard. But the real sniper was on the water tower. When local police started to inspect the roof (due to repeated warnings from attendees), Crooks panicked and started shooting too soon. Water tower guy (FBI) got off some shots, then escaped via zip line to parked car.
I can't confirm the truth of all this. But I doubt we will ever know the real truth.
The version I heard was from someone with inside sources.
