HOUSTON, Minnesota — Democrats in rural America fear President Joe Biden’s debate performance is undercutting their painstaking efforts to build trust with their communities — a stark example of how the fallout is hurting the party with some of the key voters they’ve been trying to bring into the fold.
As Biden struggled to finish sentences during the debate in Atlanta last week, rural Democrats felt like they were watching their carefully coordinated, yearslong agenda to rebuild their standing in rural areas suddenly evaporate, according to interviews with Democratic voters, lawmakers, congressional aides and organizers on the ground. That’s triggered fears

Saying Democrats and Trust in the same sentence is highly questionable.
Geez: We have been lied to by media and Democrats for 3 1/2 years now, and lied to aplenty before that.
My advice is to not believe any politician but to believe a democrat politician is just plain crazy.

Hey fools. It wasn't Biden's debate debacle, it was your support for infanticide, gay marriage, drag queens, open borders, higher taxes, COVID lockdowns, green energy scams, and using our taxes to pay off some rich liberal's student loan.

Biden's public display in Atlanta is not "undercutting trust" - it's merely the irrefutable evidence that organized Democrats have been lying to the nation about that senile old cod for years. That is what has blown trust out of the water.

I had to quit reading. The Biden administration is no friend of rural America. BTW, I grew up on a farm in rural Idaho.

Exactly what rural trust? That part of America peopled by deplorables? Dims and RINO's have destroyed rural and smaller communities propping up their city constituents with freebies paid for by everyone else and shipping jobs overseas. I'd be tempted to say if they voted for DIms let them rot but if we truly wish to rebuild our country we need to see the entirety of America and its peoples as necessary not just as voters or places to place solar farms and windmills.

Not to worry, Comrades! Zuckerberg and Zuckerberg-like beings maintain an enormous mound of violently fermenting poultry droppings at a location known only to the devotees of Ba’al. Access available only to those who lick Obama spittle.

Ahhhh! Just ‘cause they’re seen as traitors to the Constitution and Western Civilization?
Surely a couple of missteps won’t undo all their “orange man bad” work!

Well, I guess that happens when voters discover that your party and your media have been lying to them for years.

Was the majority of rural America ever liberal? It's why they're not city dwellers.

Hubby and I have been to every state west of the Mississippi, all of the south, mid-Atlantic and most of the northeast. We travel the highways and stop in the small towns. Trust me, democrats have not made gains in rural America.

The people who just now are feeling that they’ve been lied to about Joe Biden have been lied to not only by the media and their affiliate Party but also to themselves. The truth about Joe Biden has been out there for well over a year and a half to two years. He was not even well when he ran for president, but they buried their head. So shame on them if they feel that they’ve been lied to. Refuse to see the truth. That’s what you get when you watch MSNBC Joy Reid Rachel Maddow morning Joe and CNN.

Years of bribery, graft, interference, regulations, vote-buying schemes and broken promises. It's a good thing that flyover country residents are smarter than the big city folks.

I laughed when I saw this headline. The smarmy, condescending liberals have nothing but dripping contempt for rural voters. What lofty principles do these local Democrat politicians bring to this group?

This is a bogus headline. I grew up in rural WV and democrats like Robert KKK Byrd had contempt for us and others like us in the other 49 states. Even now members of that party and their butt kissers in the fake news media refer us to being rubes, country bumpkins, hayseeds, uncultured, red necked, fly over country, hillbillies, gun nuts, White Nationalists, racists, xenophobes, etc. And don't get me started on what they call rural Blacks like me who support PDJT and MAGA. What work are these dimwits talking about?

Years of work? Didn't you mean years of lying and gaslighting? Yep, we local yokels took our socks off the heater vent and exclaimed, "Day-um!" At long last, a million lies is enough. The millionth and first will be met with foul smelling rotten fruit that flies. That means from now on, so just go away and jump into a volcano.

Dan Bongino often talks about wanting to know if it's bad enough. Maybe after the Hot-Lanta debate debacle it is.
The guys on Red Eye Radio are fond of saying that it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned. I'm hoping they are starting to be convinced they've been conned.

Note to Dims: I live in rural America and a look at voter registrations (excluding illegal aliens and dead people) indicate that Democrats are as popular as mosquitoes and fire ants out here.
