A mob of looters ransacked an Oakland gas station convenience store and caused thousands of dollars in damage as the frustrated store manager claimed police took nine hours to respond to his plea for help.
The horde, who had just attended a nearby car sideshow, broke into the 76 Station near the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, according to ABC 7 News Bay Area.
Owner Sam Mardaie estimated approximately 80 to 100 people broke through his store’s front door and grabbed everything they could get their hands on.
“Shelves were ripped apart, all the grocery items were torn or stepped on or vandalized,” Mardaie told the outlet.

Who did you vote for?
You and the other crime victims need to get your act together and vote these Demoncrats out of office before you and your family members are killed.

These feral thugs should be shot on sight. Not excusing feral thugs, but by now some fault goes to the store owners for not closing and leaving town.

One blast from even a .410 would get their attention, does not require a 12 gauge. However, if it was me I would prefer an automatic 12 gauge with 7 in the tube and a refill on the buttstock, alternating 00 buck with a couple slugs for any long distance required, now that would do the job. With a backup weapon at hand. But it is CA, and in Oakland, so good luck with the D.A.

Guv Newsom made California a no-second amendment state. Recently I went to check out Ruger Mini-14’s at a Big Five Sporting Goods in my small community. The clerk informed me the store was not allowed to sell firearms as per state law. Democrats hate guns in the hands of conservatives.

I don’t see any way out of this.
It takes a man to raise a man. Dimes to donuts, most of these yutes a) don’t know who their father is, or) he’s in prison.
Families begat families. And there are fewer and fewer black families to continue.
Thanks, Democrats. It is absolutely true: you ruin EVERYTHING you touch.

The usual suspects of course.
Now let's face a fact This isn't a gang. These aren't Youths doing bad things.
These are the community. Not criminal gangs. Criminal Communities.
People who live there and think nothing of participating in a riot or community theft.

Isn't it time the citizens of Oakland took the law into their own hands and started to patrol their streets in teams of five of more and act like they don't like criminals. If a few of these punks were found crying in some trash cans things might change for the better.. All these small businesses that are being terrorized need to be defended or Oakland will have no services what so ever.

“It’s crazy. I mean it’s a daily thing. It hasn’t been a day since we opened in August that we don’t have an incident,” Mardaie told the outlet at the time.
“I come from Yemen, a third world country, and we don’t have those incidents in a third world country where there’s no law and order.”

My aunt is in a nursing home there and I worry for her safety—it’s only a matter of time before the mobs go there to kill a bunch of old white people (and steal the meds). I wish they’d move her…but it’s not my call.

#21 - So true. My Dad was cop in L.A. He served from 1947-74, but I think his principle still holds true. He and his partner stopped bar fights by entering the bar with their shotguns, then both chambering rounds. He said it was like playing a game of "Statues". It was a sound that gained immediate attention.

100 looters at a convenience store? Hardly seems worth the effort, although I guess the first couple dozen might have scored a fairly decent haul of beer or cigarettes, The last ones would be lucky to get a few candy bars or bags of chips. Has me wondering if anger was more of a motive than 'profit'.

#8 the officers in Oakland are hardly sitting around having coffee and donuts. The city budgets for a number of officers that is too low for the area. They have a huge problem attracting officers to the city, the mayor is a disaster and the lawlessness is off the chart. The officers should be thanked everyday for working in this hell hole. I wish these business owners would start calling out the leaders of these out of control cities. The mayors, the city council members and Newsom, the governor should be faced with this mess daily. But Newsom is running all over the country as a Biden surrogate instead of taking care of his state.

Since no one looter took more than $500 worth of loot, it's all good.
Sympathies for the store owner. His choices were to stand there and do nothing or fight back, which would have gotten him a jail sentence or his own injury/death.
I hope he sees the handwriting on the wall and moves to a more sane state. California is a lost cause, and Oakland is leading the way.

When we were still living at our old house in the SW Denver burbs, my next-door neighbor was a Denver cop. He told me the same thing that TQ said, he and his partner would go in with the shot guns and made sure everybody hears the chambering of a couple of loads. He also said if we ever have an unwelcome visitor at the front door who is armed and dangerous and I opt to open fire before he does, to make sure we drag the body into the house before the police get there. Helps to demonstrate self-defense.

All night Stop-N-Robs should be required to keep a shotgun behind the counter. One blast of 12 gauge would damage the ceiling but not as much loss as the feral animals we are fostering. Don't scoff.
