Two of President Joe Biden’s flagship laws are pumping billions of dollars of taxpayer cash into states that will likely decide the winner of November’s presidential election, with much more money still up for grabs.
The 2021 bipartisan infrastructure package and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Biden’s massive climate bill, have routed more than $60 billion combined to Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona and Georgia, according to White House data. These states are widely considered to be the seven key swing states that will dictate whether Biden will secure a second term or if former President Donald Trump will return to the White House.

He said he was awaiting further confirmation on its magnitude, some eight hours after a 4.8 magnitude quake rocked the city at 10:32am, causing mayhem for unsuspecting residents.

Representative Madeleine Dean (D-PA) said Friday on CNN’s “News Central” that former President Donald Trump “would be a useful idiot” to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Dean said, “When we’re talking about this very critical subject, I can’t think of anything more starkly clear. Mr. Netanyahu, I believe, is waiting his days out because he would like to have the return of what I believe is a useful idiot to people like Mr. Netanyahu.” (Snip) Dean concluded, “Mr. Trump would be a useful idiot to Mr. Netanyahu’s, I think failed ways, the failure of the prosecution of this war. Israel had the right, has the right and obligation to defend itself.

Donald Trump’s “America First” doctrine encountered stormy weather in the community of American globalists who characterize it as a mix of nationalism, unilateralism, and xenophobia. The substantive disagreements could not be more explicit: globalists see American commitments as implicitly limitless and irreversible, and Trump, driven by effectiveness, not ideology, believes the existing commitments are not eternal and are limited by resources. Therefore, we must define our national interests to shape our commitments, not allow existing commitments to define our interests.
The “my country first” concept is not a new approach to international order. It originated in the 17th century with a Frenchman, Armand-Jean du Plessis, known as Cardinal de Richelieu.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a statement on the January 6 prosecutions Friday, saying that while violent rioters deserved to be punished, many prosecutions of non-violent protesters were excessive.
Kennedy’s statement undercuts the Democratic Party’s effort to portray the 2024 election as a “defense of democracy” and a referendum on the so-called “insurrection,” which Democrats blame on former President Donald Trump.
Kennedy’s statement reads as follows: January 6 is one of the most polarizing topics on the political landscape. I am listening to people of diverse viewpoints on it in order to make sense of the event

Correspondent Sarah McCammon joined her NPR colleague Michel Martin on Thursday’s Amanpour and Company on PBS to discuss her book, The Exvangelicals: Loving, Living, and Leaving the White Evangelical Church because public broadcasting networks stick together. Naturally, Evangelicals’ relationship with Donald Trump and the “politicization of religion” was a big part of the conversation, but McCammon made it clear that her definition of politicization was that Christians do not bend their beliefs to appease the LGBTQ crowd.

Joe Biden on Friday traveled to Baltimore to deliver remarks after he participated in an aerial tour of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge with Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Commandant of the United States Coast Guard Admiral Linda Fagan, and Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lieutenant General Scott Spellmon.
Baltimore’s Key Bridge collapsed last month after a container ship collided with a support column.
Several people who were working on the Baltimore bridge at the time it collapsed perished.

The solar eclipse's path of totality could shift on Monday - and now experts are urging people to travel to different spots to see the celestial event.
Amateur astronomer John Irwin released a new map of the 115-mile path from Maine through Texas which has revealed its changed by roughly 2,000 feet.
The updated calculation has suggested that people in places like Rome, New York, Effingham, Illinois, and some areas of Fort Worth, Texas will no longer be able to have a perfect view of the eclipse.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis may not have been disqualified from the Georgia election case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants, but she's still facing multiple probes or complaints from the Georgia state Senate, the House Judiciary Committee and involving the state bar. On top of that, now there's a new accusation by one of the lawyers for one of the co-defendants in the case.
During an interview with Townhall columnist and legal analyst Phil Holloway, Christopher Kachouroff, the attorney for Trump co-defendant Harrison Floyd alleged that Willis recorded a phone call between herself and one of his Maryland colleagues.

In a recent interview with FOX News’ Will Cain, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, once an avid supporter of Joe Biden, has expressed regret over his 2020 endorsement and stated he will not be endorsing Biden for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
Johnson, along with everyone who supported Joe Biden, is complicit in the destruction of the US today.
Johnson has been a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump and was seen as part of the broader Hollywood contingent that supported Democratic candidates.
