The Biden/Harris team is so bad at so many things that sometimes it's hard to believe that these are the people we have in office now, supposedly in charge. But when they have difficulty with even basic things like holidays, you know we are in big trouble. Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff posted a picture of himself and Vice President Kamala Harris lighting the first candle of a menorah. The tweet has since been deleted, but you can still see what he wrote:

A fire at the New York City courthouse where Donald Trump's civil fraud case is being heard has left 17 people injured.
Three floors of the state's Supreme Court in lower Manhattan had to be evacuated on Wednesday afternoon after a person set papers on fire. The person, who was taken into custody, then used an extinguisher to put out the fire.

Joe Biden gave some brief remarks on Wednesday. You knew that reporters were going to be asking him about his son defying a congressional subpoena and the impeachment inquiry that's starting against him. Biden didn't sound well. He seems to be having more of this coughing and more slurring of late. (X Video) But after just a couple of minutes of remarks, Biden tossed the press out and refused to answer questions about the impeachment or his son blowing off the subpoena.

Like the sirens of Greek myth, their music hits all the right notes: true equality, fairness, justice for all, health, peace, etc. Because the music is so beautiful, and the steps to the dance so familiar, again and again, we’ve accepted their invitation and blindly followed their lead.

PEN America, an organization purportedly meant to advocate for free speech in America, has chosen a radical transgender activist as its new president. Transgender activist Jennifer Finney Boylan, a man who “transitioned” to a woman in the year 2000, told the New York Times that as an organization PEN America fights for free speech for both conservatives and left-wingers.
“As PEN president, it is my job to fight for free expression on the right and the left,” Boylan told the paper on Dec. 11. “I’m an author. I’m a writer. And at this perilous moment, I am really going to try to fight for everybody as best I can.”
