Hollywood star Jane Fonda made the outrageous claim Friday that climate change is being caused exclusively by men, specifically white men, adding that “those men” must be arrested and jailed.
She also blamed the “patriarchy” and “racism” for global warming.Speaking at a career retrospective at the Cannes Film Festival in France, Jane Fonda promoted her radical climate activism efforts, saying the world has “about seven, eight years” to cut fossil fuel consumption in half. She also said “poor people of color” as well as populations in the southern hemisphere will be hit hardest by global warming.

"It's time to pay." Those four words from Missouri Democrat Rep. Cori Bush are being heard a lot by Democratic politicians across the country this month. For Bush, the debt amounts to $14 trillion in reparations for Black Americans. In California, activists are demanding as much as $5 million per Black resident and asking Gov. Gavin Newsom "where's the money?" One member of Newsom's Reparations Task Force demanded that the state pay its "sin bill"
In New York and Chicago, mayors are balking at towering costs from migrants being shipped from the border to their "sanctuary" cities.

The late British author Beatrix Potter is being accused of stealing the stories for her Peter Rabbit books from slaves in America, with a woke literature professor saying Potter is guilty of the “appropriation” of black culture.
In a recent essay, Emily Zobel Marshall, who teaches postcolonial literature at Leeds Beckett university in England, claimed Beatrix Potter ripped off the oral “Br’er Rabbit” folk tales told by slaves working on southern plantations. In addition, she accuses Potter of deliberately hiding the “sources” of her literary inspiration. [Tweet]

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has been quietly let go from her Warner Bros TV deal after producing no content.
Cullors, 39, signed the deal with the media giant in 2020 to much fanfare but it ended in secret in October 2022, it emerged on Friday.
'The deal, unfortunately, did not result in any produced shows,' a source told the New York Post. Cullors claimed in January 2022 that she was working on a documentary about how reparations were similar to the idea of landback, where Native Americans got back their lands, and another about black social mobility.

Last night I participated in a conversation. This article is written as an outcome of that conversation, as requested by those who participated. (snip)
In various forms they were asking each other the same question. What happened in the last several years that caused Democrats, leftists and the traditional political left to switch positions on their advocacy?
Liberalism literally went from railing against Big Govt, to embracing corrupt Big Govt. Why and how did this happen?
In short, it was the same line of questioning I have seen asked by Tucker Carlson, Glenn Greenwald, Tulsi Gabbard and various traditionally liberal people as well as people on the right side of the continuum.

Top leaders in both parties reached a long-sought deal on Saturday to avoid an unprecedented government default, announcing an agreement on a plan to lift the debt ceiling immediately and apply new caps on federal spending in the name of curbing deficits, according to sources familiar.
To get there, negotiators had to iron out their differences on a small but crucial list of outstanding issues that had dogged the talks in recent days, including lower spending levels, new work requirements for social benefit programs and permitting reforms to expedite approval of energy infrastructure projects — three Republican demands that were opposed by most Democrats.

A town hall meeting held by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Queens on Friday night descended into farce as the firebrand was called a 'piece of s*** and berated for her views on Ukraine, migrants, drag queen story hours and the debt ceiling.
The meeting was held in the Corona neighborhood, AOC's constituency. Her constituents were not in welcoming mood, especially when the town hall moved to to the question and answer stage.
'American citizens before migrants,' one heckler yelled. Others chanted: 'America first.' Another shouted: 'We are on the verge of nuclear war with Russia. Are you going to stop this war?' shouted another,

I was shocked when CBS News aired an interview with the IRS whistleblower who revealed what looks like preferential treatment of Hunter Biden in his tax investigation (snip) This more or less broke what has been a legacy media blockade of coverage of the Biden family’s scandalous receipt of millions of dollars from foreign sources and associated tax scandals. (snip) I strongly suspect that a message is being sent to Biden with this breach in the former media cofferdam protecting him from a flood of negative press about his and his family’s financial ties to foreign powers

I have become increasingly skeptical of much of what is going on in our government. AT writers and readers inspire me to question everything.(snip) In the same timeframe during which the Durham report was released, we also saw a report released on the FBI FISA abuses. We are supposed to be happy that only 278,000 unauthorized (illegal) warrantless searches occurred in 2020 and accept that the FBI has resolved this situation.Interesting...a system created to keep tabs on foreign threats is being used to illegally spy on American citizens at an alarming rate.

A 12-year-old boy who wanted a challenge graduated from a California college last week, where he was presented with a historic five degrees.
The pre-teen, Clovis Hung, is the youngest person to graduate from Fullerton College, the university said.
Hung started attending the school in Fall 2020, when he was just 9 years old and his mother had pulled him out of traditional public school claiming her son was highly self-motivated and goal-oriented.
“Clovis is super inquisitive, mature, diligent, self-disciplined, and highly motivated,” Hung’s mother, Song Choi, said in a statement released by the school. “He is also very curious and traditional public schools could not satisfy his curiosity,

Actor Tom Hanks lectured new graduates on truth during his commencement speech at Harvard University Thursday. (snip)
The actor attempted to motivate graduates to pursue "sacred" truth instead of the truth that has evolved from today's society. “For the truth to some is no longer empirical. It’s no longer based on data, nor common sense, nor even common decency,” Hanks said. (snip) Hanks acknowledged that an effort to pursue truth "is optional. But the truth, the truth is sacred. Unalterable. Chiseled into the stone and the foundation of our republic." All throughout the speech, the actor quoted from the Declaration of Independence and the Bible to get his point across,
