Pompeo torches Kirby after White House

Former secretary of state under President Trump Mike Pompeo fired back at claims from the Biden administration that Trump constrained the conditions of the U.S. pullout from Afghanistan, during which 13 American soldiers died in a suicide bombing while protecting the Kabul airport, and untold numbers of Americans and Afghans eligible for evacuation were stranded. The White House on Thursday released its review of President Biden's fumbled 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan while Trump's indictment continues to dominate the headlines. The "war" was pretty much over for us. Sure, we had a huge air base there - just like the ones we maintain in similar questionable locales in Turkey, Djibouti, Kenya, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Any ground action was being handled by the Afghans and there had been no American casualties for over a year. All we were doing was providing air-strike support. Seriously, Trump's team had Afghanistan down to a fine-tuned, well-managed operation. Biden blew it. Period. There is no explanation for what happened.

John Kirby is a disgrace to the uniform he once wore. In the Navy where I served, we were trained not to lie. We were trained to accept responsibility for the decisions we made, not to lay blame on someone else. My training has stuck with me for a lifetime. Kirby’s has apparently slithered away like the snake he is.

The Biden administration has been saying for years that their Afghan withdrawal was great and how proud they were to be a part of it. Now that it has become obvious, even to them that it was a major clusterf*ck Biden’s military leaders tell us it was because the previous administration did not provide them with a plan. So, you didn’t have a plan but you went ahead and bugged out anyway. That pretty much explains the results. To blame your problems on something the previous administration did is weak. To blame them for not telling you what to do is pathetic. Well, WW III is coming and I sure hope to God the Trump administration left you a plan for that….

They can write any damn report they want and stuff it full of lies and attempts to put a shine on that chaos, but the American people, at least most of us, saw with our own eyes what happened and it was a HUGE failure., and it is NOT on Trump, it is all on Biden. So Kirby you can go back to carrying water and kissing Biden's a**, we all know the undeniable truth.

Trump had good reasons not to withdraw and thus did not need a plan. It was not Trumps job to make a withdrawal path for the next president who wanted to withdrawal. Trump did not hold a gun to Biden’s head to have the withdrawal take place sooner than it should have and in the manner in which it was poorly orchestrated. These liberals are insane! The numbers don’t lie: Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump is a massive outlier, not the “bread and butter” move the crime-lover claimed it was. Turns out, his office almost never prosecutes cases on charges like the ones he’s mounted against the ex-prez — i.e., first-degree falsifying business records with the “intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.” State crime data crunched by the Times-Union show that Bragg’s office has gone after people for this as a top charge only eight times in the past few years. Statewide, there have been fewer than 300 such cases since 2019.

Fox 17 Nashville reports that Jones was sanctioned for using a bullhorn when he joined with protesters, which state House leaders called "disorderly behavior." Thursday’s vote marked an extraordinary move from lawmakers that has been executed only a handful of times since the Civil War. House lawmakers are also considering ousting Democratic Reps. Something odd happened in the days leading up to the New York indictment of former President Donald Trump. Nobody outside a small group of prosecutors knew what the sealed indictment said. But on the basis of leaks — there were a lot — as well as indicators of what the grand jury was doing, observers could sketch out what the indictment would likely be. And it seemed...weak. As the days went by, critics noted that the expected main charge, falsification of business records, is a misdemeanor with a long-passed two-year statute of limitations. Democratic prosecutor Alvin Bragg, it was said, would try to inflate that misdemeanor into a felony by alleging

Lock Donald Trump up, or don’t lock him up, but don’t tell me that “no one is above the law.” It’s one of the most ludicrous fantasies peddled by the left. Plenty of people are “above the law.” James Clapper, who lied under oath to Congress about spying on the American people, is above the law. John Brennan, who lied about a domestic spying operation on Senate staffers, is above the law. Unlike Trump advisor Peter Navarro, Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder was never going to be handcuffed and thrown in prison for ignoring a congressional subpoena. He is above the law. Now that we’ve seen what District Attorney Alvin Bragg has, the old Peggy Lee song comes to mind. Is that all there is? Yes, that’s all there is. The charges against Donald Trump are almost exactly as predicted. They are weak and, most important, political. As such, they are shockingly-blatant punishment for Trump daring to become president. In this sordid case, the letters D.A. stand for Democrat Attorney. The charges are the crime. Shame on Bragg for abusing his authority and turning his office into a partisan outpost.

As we await the publication of all the impending indictments of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Americans are trying to figure out what constitutes an indictable offense for current and retired public officials. Most legal experts, Left and Right, have noted: 1) Bragg promised in advance that he would try to find a way to indict Trump. His prior boasts are reminiscent of Stalin’s secret police enforcer Lavrentiy Beria’s quip, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” Nancy Pelosi gave the game away, when in her dotage, she muttered that Trump had a right to prove his innocence as if he is presumed guilty.
