Heartbroken family members are picking up the pieces and mourning their loved ones after massive tornadoes devastated a Mississippi town, killing 26 people including a baby and a couple who died in each other's arms.
Lonnie and Melissa Pierce were tragically killed when the vicious twister dropped their neighbor's 18-wheeler on their house in the middle of the night in Rolling Fork.
Their heartbroken son David Brown told WAPT as he wept: 'Words cant express how I'm feeling. I'm just broken and I'm numb.'

Very, very sad. At least the Biden Administration is stepping up.
One question...what about East Palestine, OH? Both are very very sad and serious incidents.

Miss has truly experienced a tragedy. Trump needs to visit this red state. Lord knows, Biden never will.

It's heartbreaking. Those in the path of the storm never had a chance.

In addition to soap (showers), baby food, and cell service, they need counselors.
Unimaginable horror.

Don’t praise the sniffer in chief too much. Turns out the counties that were damaged voted for him in 2020.

Just like the train derailment disaster union Ohio, too many poor white people affected -so Dementia Joe will ignore this. He sent Mayorkas, the traitor, today. Now, had the storm hit a predominately black area, Joe would have flown there from Canada.

The MS Guv needs to call out the National Guard ASAP with all their humanitarian assistance gear, portable showers, kitchen equipment, etc., along with the personnel to manage it all. Don't look to Bidet to do anything through FEMA. Look how well that's been working out for the good people of East Palestine, OH.

I live in NE Mississippi. Not ALL the counties hit voted Democrat! Two of the hardest hit communities were predominately black! Our (Republican) guard called in the National Guard the very night the tornadoes hit! I know some people think of Mississippi as poor, uneducated, ignorant step-children but never thought I'd see some of the poor uneducated comments here on this forum! Yesterday churches all over Mississippi packed care packages and 18 wheelers took them to be distributed in Amory, Winona, and the two southern communities hit. Our governor has also spoke to Biden. We are a majority Republican state - both senators, most representatives, our governor and most of the state elected officials are Republican. We are made up of small, medium, and large churches throughout the state - most of which are full each Sunday morning, night, and Wednesday night! Many BB people still judge us for things that happened years and years ago. Many people think we are ignorant poor white trash with only two teeth in our mouths or ignorant uneducated blacks. There are a few of those in our state but I've seen that in news reports from other areas too! Alumni from our state include Elvis, Oprah, Jim Henson, James Earl Jones, Jimmy Buffett, Tennessee Williams,B B King, William Faulkner, Leontyne Price...the list goes on! Please remember that Mississippi is hurting right now and don't add to our misery with lies and half-truths!
