North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called on his country to be ready to launch a nuclear attack to deter war as he accused the U.S. and South Korea of carrying out military drills with American nuclear assets, according to state media. Kim's remarks, carried on state media KCNA, came after the Hermit Kingdom launched a short-range ballistic missile toward the sea on Sunday. The missile flew across the country and landed in the sea off its east coast, according to South Korean and Japanese assessments – which reported that the missile traveled a distance of about 500 miles.

Kim doesn't say or do anything China doesn't tell him to say or do. He is a hostage doing his captor's bidding. Trump understood this and ran right at it. When Obama left office he told Trump that Trump would probably soon be at war with North Korea. Trump thanked him for his advice, but went his own direction. Instead of beating the war drums, Trump forged a personal relationship with Kim visible to the entire world. That visible personal relationship created a bit of a zone of safety from China around Kim, giving him a bit of breathing room, and there was even talk of … can it be? … reunification. It was a masterpiece of businessman diplomacy. Now, in only 3 years, we have gone from Kim and the President of the United States as new BFF's, to this. That globalist, Bush/Obama, forever-war crew that runs Biden sure know how to screw things up. Trump 2024

Just ‘another day’, another threat, another something to be worried about in America while we endure the presidency of an exceptionally arrogant, stupid, totally incompetent, clueless idiot. It is, indeed, a scary world we Americans (and much of the rest of the world) are facing - as in a ship at sea - while the individual at the helm is taking, guiding - and has led us - into very dangerous waters.

A former Obama administration staffer is blowing the whistle on the Biden family's business dealings, accusing President Biden of being involved in a "kickback scheme" in connection with his son Hunter's overseas business dealings while he was vice president. Mike McCormick, a stenographer for the White House for 15 years, told "Fox & Friends First" the FBI has been ignoring his alarms on the matter despite his willingness to testify under oath before the federal grand jury investigating Hunter. "In February, I went to the FBI and filed one of their tips on their website. If you do that, and you're lying to them, you go to jail. I'm not lying.

Joe Biden's trip to Belfast was to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. But some locals hoped he might also help end Northern Ireland's political deadlock. They were to be disappointed. It's hard to find a family in Northern Ireland that was not affected by "the Troubles," the decades of violent sectarian conflict that claimed thousands of lives between the late 1960s and 1998. Clare McHugh, a 41-year-old Belfast resident, has bad memories of her childhood. "There used to be regular bomb threats in my town," she told DW. "Soldiers were just a part of our daily life.”

The Democratic National Committee on Tuesday announced that the party has decided to hold its 2024 national political convention in a city that has been ravaged by decades of one-party Democratic rule: Chicago. The Windy City has been run by Democratic mayors for 93 consecutive years. The 50-member City Council currently includes zero Republicans. The Cook County Board of Commissioners has 17 seats; 16 are filled by Democrats. So totalizing is the city's unipartisan political culture that recently vanquished mayoral finalist Paul Vallas, a lifelong Democrat, could not overcome the campaign criticism that he was a "Republican in disguise."

"This is an action arising from [Cohen’s] multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion and breaches of contract by virtue of [Cohen’s] past service as [Trump’s] employee and attorney," the lawsuit states. The lawsuit alleges Cohen breached his attorney-client relationship by "spreading falsehoods" about Trump that were "likely to be embarrassing

The vehicle pollution standards, proposed Wednesday by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and announced by the White House, will impact car model years 2027 through 2032. The White House said the regulations would "protect public health" by achieving carbon emission reductions of nearly 10 billion tons by 2055 and would save consumers an average of $12,000 over the lifetime of vehicles. "Cars and truck manufacturers have made clear that the future of transportation is electric," the White House stated in a fact sheet.

History may someday record today as the beginning of the end of the internal combustion engine – and of individual liberty in the U.S. According to news reports, the EPA is scheduled to release proposed auto emissions standards today on new car sales so stringent that the only way for automakers to meet them would be to shift two-thirds of their fleet to electric. But wait. How can a regulatory agency do that? Consumers aren’t demanding electric cars. Lawmakers didn’t vote to force them on the public. The Environmental Protection Agency knows better, though, and, unless it’s neutered, plans to force EVs on you – for your own good.
