It has been a long time coming, and now the final act appears to be in view. Donald Trump is about to be arrested, and the corrupt and politicized authorities who have brought matters to this point are preparing for the worst: the NYPD, the Secret Service, and even the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force are all busy making preparations for the big day, which indicates several things about what will happen and what they expect will happen, or want us to think they expect will happen.NBC News reported Friday that “local, state and federal law enforcement and security agencies are preparing for the possibility that former President Donald Trump

Everyone who supports Trump and loathes the Swamp had better put in some serious praying for the next few days. Especially for his protection no matter what.

I don’t see what the charge is? What Trump did with Stormy amounts to an NDA. Which by the way, she violated and Trump was awarded I believe $300,000 if I’m not mistaken. This is just like the Russia hoax and the Ukraine boondoggle and the Jan 6 bogus charges. Having said that, how many times has the press touted the end of Trump only for nothing to happen.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Hunter Biden has not been arrested and charged with perjury when he lied on the form he was required to fill out to purchase a firearm. Hunter filed himself snorting cocaine which is a felony in every state that I am aware of. By getting kickbacks on foreign aid to Ukraine both Hunter and Quid Pro Joe comitted extortion and tax evasion. But all the prosecutors are in the pockets of the demoncraps and funded by George Soros. This country is a corrupt bananna republic.

This will (if it happens) be the worst thing that the democraps could do and they will find out after they attempt to do their frog march...
The Donald will reap donations like never seen before. He will be seen as 'picked on' 'underdog' and gain voters support like no one else.
I hope and pray no MAGA voter shows up to the 'so called' event as it will be surrounded with FIB, CIA, DOJ, etc., etc. employees in MAGA hats causing trouble and trying to incite everyone.
The Constitution is clear. The qualifications for running for POTUS is citizenship and 35 years of age. Nothing in there to stop someone who is under criminal investigation, or even convicted of a crime (except I believe, Treason) which is what the J6 was attempting to come up with.

We have become a Banana Republic. Arresting 45 will just solidify the belief that the Deep State is a totalitarian wannabe organization, and is doing its best to fulfill that goal. Just remember the precedent is being set with 45. Joey Baby's time will come. Along with Merrick etal.

Take a leaf out of Tom Delay's book and practice a relaxed booking smile. It would be a very effective political tactic.

Should have raped and murdered someone. Then you could have gotten off with no bail. I am so sick of this crap. After all the crimes the clintons committed and this is what they want to hang their hat on. Come on Republicans, let's get this FJB Crime Family front and enter. Now those are criminals.

I agree with another poster. Paying that woman was the same as her signing an NDA. I had to sign one when I was awarded money from my employer. Did I break a law? Did they? This is the biggest of trumped up charges yet.

Just like January 06th, I'll bet someone shadowy will organize another "staged insurrection" for the whole world to see at the NYC court house. Including masked FBI, WEF (Soros), and CIA linked participants. It'll be GREAT to get the whole gang back together again!!

The timing is interesting with banks collapsing and politicians pushing to get us into WW3. Seems they are trying to blow up everything at the same time.

I like Robert Spencer but I don't know how good he is with predictions like this.
I pray he's wrong.
Merrick's goons have rehearsed this from all angles. They won't be able to lock him up for ever, and when he gets out,
people will see President Trump differently.
They can't allow that to happen; so if he goes in, I don't expect him to come out.

If our stinking legal systems go through with this charade, I'm going to tear up the donation check I have prepared for Trump and double the amount on the new one. Do these sleazy Shutzstaffel think we will come to the next protest unarmed? They have been hounding this man with fake charges since 2016 because they are scared to death of him and us. MAGA

Are all these articles regarding this shameful and totally unnecessary process just egging on some demented democrat? Does it not occur to the DOJ that this could be handled in a more professional and safe manner? It’s almost as if they want a photo-op to send around the world. Maybe I missed it, but why aren’t Republicans voicing their concern over this clearly political prosecution. Sorry, I forgot they are a bunch of feckless fops too afraid to buck the media and Biden’s DOJ. This is a dangerous precedent to allow especially when the matter has already been litigated.
What ever will they do to Joe Biden when they decide to prosecute his real crimes with national security implications? /s

I detest democrats. I detest even more, Republicans, who do NOTHING about the total destruction of our once noble country. I am thankful that my Depression Era, WWII parents are no longer alive to see the End of our country.

Wake up folks, as the “Police State” has arrived in the USA illustrated by the fact that there is one system of Justice for conservatives and wimpy Republicans, and another much more lenient system of Justice for progressive leftist and socialist Democrats. That is clearly being shown by Trump being arrested for paying off a blackmailer over five years ago, while the corrupt Biden family cabal in a number of influence peddling schemes have sucked up millions of dollars from the Communist Chinese, and corrupt entities in places like Ukraine which has been to date ignored.

Re: #27 - I was initially encouraged that the Replys might forgo the near obligatory complaints about Republicans (e.g., the typical "wimpy Republicans"mantra) but there are still those who will take absolutely no personal responsibility as American citizens, or perhaps self-styled Patriots, to oppose our descent into third-world status, always looking for someone to do the heavy lifting for them. My own Depression era and WWII-serving parents taught me that freedom isn't exactly "free," and sometimes requires sacrifice from citizens to preserve our representative form of government.
