Inflation is now so bad people are nostalgic

American's facing rising inflation have become nostalgic for prices from just two years ago when the cost of basic groceries were almost half their price. In the past, people may have cynically recalled how the cost of everyday items had risen over decades, but now people see prices escalating right before their eyes, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. Avocados cost an average of $1 each in early 2021 but had risen to $2.50 just one year later.'There is an element of whiplash,' a 41-year-old marketing consultant told the paper, regarding the price of avocados. 'Was that a bygone era from my youth, or was it just last year?'

And yet, President Biteme just outpolled both DiSantis and Trump. Now, even if you think the poll and for that matter the election are cr@p. There are still millions of people not sufficiently suffering to turn against their party of pane. Truly, I have no answer for that. It suggests the "average man," which has always been the bulwark of society and safety break against culture rot, is lost.

If this was due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural calamity, war or economic cycle it would not be that bad. But this is deliberately inflicted almost to punish the people. And what kind of people? When asked "how much did you pay in taxes last year", over half of Americans say "nothing I got a refund". I think we deserve this!

Inflation began long before 2021 when low level workers were brainwashed into thinking that they should be making $15 per hour for frying fries and grilling burgers. The fast food industry increased its prices to the point where they began to lose a lot of business. The union-initiated belief spread and soon everything was creeping up until business crashed into COVID madness. As usual, this was a man-made problem until Joe Biden took over and made it an idiotic disaster through his trillion-dollar boondoggles. Now you see empty Burger Kings with skeleton level staffs and constant two-fer sales to lure customers back. I'll fry my own fries until the madness is corrected.

as long as that portion of the American public remains complacent and bows to the demcommies and the communist media we'll see the fastest incursion of communist power in any country's history, people have to stop watching the alphabet channels and the communist media - that's all there is to it - Adolph Hitler proved that the masses could be undermined and brainwashed to believe anything and everything the government in power tells it, as in Gospel belief however our population is being divided by black anarchists who only want to power in order to eradicate the non-blacks and make us all into an Angola

President Joe Biden on Friday pushed back on a Republican report that members of his family received more than $1 million in payments from China, saying it wasn't 'true.' 'That's not true,' Biden said when asked about it as he left the White House to spend the weekend at his home in Wilmington, Del. He was responding to a report House Republicans released on Thursday that showed the president's Hunter Biden, Beau Biden's widow Hallie and other relatives of the president's family received more than $1 million in 2017 from an associate who had entered into a business deal with a Chinese energy company.

New York— Law enforcement officials in New York are making security preparations for the possibility that former President Donald Trump could be indicted in the coming weeks and appear in a Manhattan courtroom in an investigation examining hush money paid to women who alleged sexual encounters with him, four law enforcement officials said Friday. There has been no public announcement of any timeframe for the grand jury’s secret work, including any potential vote on whether to indict the ex-president. The law enforcement officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity, said authorities are just preparing in case of an indictment.

The complexities around, and solutions to, the current banking crisis lie well beyond my core competency, so I'll leave those matters to others. What I will say is that it's indisputable that much of the upheaval can be traced back to the Biden administration's disastrous inflationary policies, which have forced the Fed to hike up interest rates as a form an anti-inflation 'chemotherapy' for the overheated US economy -- actions that have, in turn, directly and heavily contributed to unpleasant externalities like the collapse of Silicon Valley and Signature banks. Biden and his team were directly warned about the highly risky spending they were jamming through in partisan, Democrat-passed behemoths,

According to Drenton, maintaining a clean, organized home equates to “sexist” and “racist” behavior, because most people who post “pantry porn” are white women (via the Conversation): Cleanliness has historically been used as a cultural gatekeeping mechanism to reinforce status distinctions based on a vague understanding of “niceness”:
