Ron DeSantis Causes a Great Triggering
With Must-Read Comments on Ukraine-Russia Conflict

Original Article

Ron DeSantis is causing waves after answering a questionnaire on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Fox News host Tucker Carlson sent the inquiry to all of the announced and presumed 2024 Republican presidential candidates, asking them what their views on the current war are. DeSantis bucked the establishment trend on both sides of the aisle and didn’t spew proclamations about defending democracy (which is definitively not why we are involved in Ukraine). Instead, he pointedly said it is not in US interests to become “further entangled” in the fight, which he described as a “territorial dispute.”

Our support of Ukraine and the policy of expanding NATO is another folly in a long line of follies. If you wish to understand the mindset of folly read Barbara Tuchman and The March of Folly from Troy to Vietnam.

Michael Steel is an idiot. Reagan was tough on the Soviet Union, the dominant threat to global security during its time. Russia is made up of elements of the old soviet, but it is not the USSR. Most people fail to see the long game that has been played against Russia with NATO expansion (which should have been disbanded by 1992 in my opinion). The chicken hawks all want war so long as they and theirs don't have to bleed doing it. Everyone that claims the mantle of Reagan on foreign policy doesn't even understand the world we live in today, or the opportunities missed because Russia Bad.

It was idiocy for the U.S. to ever get into this war. Ukraine and Russia live beside each other. They are going to have to find a way to get along.

All we are really supporting is the Bidens, the Romneys and so many others' source of criminal income and underage chicks. We have no national interest there, except to keep the defense budget bloated and deplete our own munitions. These politicians sure like war. Or, like with the covid hoax, its just one more method or reducing the population.

FTA: “ DeSantis is the most effective conservative politician of the last 40 years.” Now that is just a lie. I agree, DeSantis is one of the most effective, but he is not the most effective conservative politician of the last 40 years. He has real potential, yes, but he does not have the base that President Trump created or his Presidential accomplishments. Trying to peel off enough voters to get the nomination is going to be difficult and divisive. What is his beef with Trump? Is it just his style? Their policies are very similar, so why create a division this way when politically it is more advantageous and logical to unite to finally defeat the status quo, deep state, and weak-kneed Republicans? This is what I just cannot understand. Clearly, DeSantis understands the country is on the wrong track and in real danger and I admire him for that. The threat to the Republic is real and imminent. We do not have the luxury of a contentious primary season which will only weaken the chance of a win in 2024. Trump’s base is loyal for good reason. They trust him which is something that is earned and Trump has definitely earned it. DeSantis knows this. When we are up against the most horrific fight of our lives and have a proven warrior in Donald Trump who will not quit or let us down, why not unite? This potential division is a gift to the democrat party. It seems a strange self-serving thing to do when the two men are not at odds on the important issues. We all know that a united Trump and DeSantis would be a political juggernaut that would put fear in the democrat party. If defeating democrats and saving the country is the goal, why not unite? I just don’t get it.

Again, anyone who does not know history is bound to repeat it. I can see finding a way to make sure our $ is going to the fight and not some crooked Oligarch's, and also making sure our Allies FINALLY put in their fair share, but anyone who thinks Putin is not hell bent on re-creating the Soviet Union is too naive and ignorant to be President. De Santis WAS our man in this family, and he lost us in one fell swoop. Remember Munich and Peace in Our Time? Remember Lindbergh and the Isolationists and how we put our heads in the sand until FORCED to pull them out....then it WAS a massive danger to ourselves that we were facing,. There are ways to support Ukraine financially and militarily without starting WW111 but this is what happens when we elect a crooked, weak mentally scattered politico as President, with all his concomitants (whoever they are---Susan Rice, Obama?) because we don't like a blustering narcissist as President, even though he was highly competent.

Seems to me, #8, that he is probably more qualified than most Candidates. His record states his duties in Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula in 2008-09 were described as Special Operations, Special Reconnaissance, Intelligence and Foreign Defence Operations. Looks to me like he would be good "War Time Presidential Material". That said, we are not at war nor do we expect to be at War any time soon (unless Biden gets us into one)! Add to that, He has Common Sense. This Article points that out!

In re #7's first question, it's probably because DeSantis has a different group including the never-Trumpers supporting him financially. Therefore, DeSantis needs to say things in a certain way to distinguish himself from Trump to please his donors. And to be sure, the msm and the dims will continue stirring the pot as fast as they can to advance their illusion that Trump and DeSantis don't like each other. Or is this ruse between Trump and DeSantis no more than a political head fake designed to fool the opposition.

Those who support our involvement in Ukraine have had more than a year to explain US national interest in that conflict. They offer tired cliches about leadership of the free world and defending “democracy”. Meanwhile Europe slumbers in Uncle Sam’s defense hammock. The Trumpistas, of course, criticize DeSantis as he gets his ankles wet trying to walk across the sea, not like their hero. The days of Trump are dwindling as a real alternative is poised to emerge. Trump is a back march, and we need to go forward. But then, what is conservatism these days?

No offense #11 but DeSantis was a JAG officer - an attorney who served/supported these special ops units - basically advising them when an action was or wasn't legal. I don't think he was running around shooting up terrorists. I worked for a woman, retired O-4 from the Navy's JAG corps who was awarded a Bronze Star (non-combat) for riding around Iraq checking on the detainees and making sure their rights were being respected. #11 What I meant by "War Time Presidential Material" is not if he can be an effective Com-in-Chief but if he can effectively avoid going to war without compromising our strength. Our enemies must fear DeSantis, like they fear Trump, in order to avoid war. I don't know what Trump would do specifically, but I do trust him because he's been there, done that, and was very effective. Thanks to Biden, we may be in a war very soon. He's a reckless SOB. The regions of Ukraine that Russia occupies right now, is the same region where pro Russia Ukrainians lived before Russia crossed the border. The people who lived there viewed themselves as Russian. There were trenches built and shooting going on between the pro Russia Ukrainians, and those Ukrainians who wanted to have a separate country from Russia for years. So, after a year of fighting, Russia hasn't really gained any ground.

It wasn't that long ago when questioning the story we were being told about Ukraine elicited accusations/insinuations by certain Ldotters about being Putin-lovers. Zelensky was a hero . . . a freedom fighter, they said. "Oh, the poor people of Ukraine need our help!" Look what our "helping" did to the Vietnamese. The Afghanis. The Iraqis. A certain echelon both here and in those countries got fat as ticks off our "help" while the people we thought we were helping died by the hundreds of thousands. The people of Ukraine do need help. What we are doing is not helping them. Glad to see DeSantis agrees with us on that.

This was said by Steve Bannon, "It's a little late to be having On The Job Training" meaning all these newcomers who want the job of president do not have the experience of dealing with foreign nations. Think of voting for president as a job interview. Would you vote for DeSantis who has no experience dealing with foreign nations like President Trump? The position of president if we were interviewing, would go to President Trump who has the experience, the knowledge and knows that part of the world, Ukraine and Zelenskyy. Trump was able to do a lot of good and I respect him for that. But he came into office with zero experience with foreign policy, the military, and how Washington works and it showed. The Swamp is still alive and well. He made a lot of bad hiring decisions that we are still paying for. He was far from perfect. DeSantis is also not perfect but I believe he is a true conservative and he would not be 77 when he took office. I’m backing DeSantis and I totally agree with his stand on Ukraine. The predictable attacks on DeSantis every time someone writes an article about him has inspired me to state an unpopular but heartfelt opinion. I believe actual conservative governing experience that has yielded positive results, is a more critical skill for our nation's chief executive than sloganeering and name-calling. In 2016, Trump did not have the resume that that DeSantis has today. Despite reservations from having been aware of him from the 70s, including his media-friendly conspicuous consumption decades, I voted for him because he was in many ways, the anti-Hillary but I was not a fan-boy of his very public background that played out over the previous 30 -40 years, so I found him uninspiring from a national leadership standpoint. Example: an excerpt from a NY Times article dated November 1, 1976: "He is tall, lean and blond, with dazzling white teeth, and he looks ever so much like Robert Redford. He rides around town in a chauffeured silver Cadillac with his initials, DJT, on the plates. He dates slinky fashion models, belongs to the most elegant clubs and, at only 30 years of age, estimates that he is worth “more than $200 million..“If a man has flair, the energetic, outspoken Mr. Trump said the other day, “and is smart and somewhat conservative and has a taste for what people want, he's bound to be successful in New York.” So the NY Times was for Trump before being against him. Trump's background notwithstanding, that he got behind and worked to advance 'somewhat conservative' causes as president is indisputable; however it is also indisputable that Trump's tenure in office ended with Joe Biden as president. However that happened, it is an on-going national disaster.

When you put your bleeding heart aside, you realize that Ukraine is about 7th or 8th on our priority list of problems to fix and those problems above it, all of which were caused by the Biden administration, are seriously dangerous to the health and survival of our country. Ukraine has nothing to do with what's left of anything democratic still left in America. Those who are fashioning the short arrows of battle and putting on war paint and encouraging Biden to enter a conflict with Russia would do well to remember the words of Donald Rumsfeld, "You go into battle with the army you have and not the army you wish you had." Given the trannies, homos, safe-space squirrels and candy-ass cowards that now make up our skeleton of a military, there is serious doubt that we could get the best of Russia and grave doubt that we could subsequently face off with China who will attack us soon afterwards.

There were more that 150,000 catalytic converter thefts in 2022, a 2% increase from the previous year. The number one model targeted for these thefts in the US is the Toyota Prius. There’s a reason for that. The critical piece of automobile tech is used to filter out harmful byproducts from your car’s exhaust. They use precious metals like platinum, palladium and rhodium to accomplish this. Those metals can sell for hundreds to thousands of dollars per ounce. A catalytic converter can be sold for anywhere from $25 to $300 for an average vehicle, Carfax says, and up to $1,400 for hybrid vehicles.

He fights. And unlike some others who fight, he wins. His fights aren’t carried out through rhetoric: he strikes the Left where it hurts them most. The Left has been winning battles based upon a brilliant strategy they adopted in the 60s and 70s. Once it became clear that the strategy of protest was doomed to fail, Leftists adopted what German socialist Rudi Dutschke called “the long march through the institutions,” explicitly referring to Mao’s famous Long March that ended with the victory of the communists in China. Dutschke was promoting a strategy first advocated by another socialist, Antonio Gramsci, in which the socialist revolutionaries begin a long takeover

Despite her 2018 and 2022 losses, Abrams has not ruled out a third run for governor, prompting worry from some Georgia Democrats, according

COLORADO, USA — Colorado lawmakers are once again considering new legislation that would further increase and protect abortion access in Colorado. Meanwhile, Colorado continues to see an influx of people traveling to this state for abortion services. One Democrat-sponsored bill, SB188, would protect the patients seeking that care and the providers who treat them, from outside legal threats. After extensive testimony from supporters and opposition, the bill passed Senate Committee 3-2, along party lines. One of people who testified in favor of the bill was a woman who had traveled to Colorado

Levine has promised that medically changing children's gender will soon be normalized, praising the controversial medical intervention which has been banned in several states at the Pediatric Grand Rounds Session at Children's Medical Center in Hartford. Levine was invited to speak at the event about the Florida Parental Rights in Education law and the political implications of gender reassignment surgery taking place at children's hospitals.

Donald Trump and his family failed to report nearly $300,000-worth of gifts they received from foreign governments between 2017 and 2020, including a "larger-than-life-sized painting" of the former president that may currently reside at his Mar-a-Lago resort, according to a new report by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee and supporting documents obtained by CNN. Over 100 gifts from foreign officials, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, with a total value of over a quarter of a million dollars, were never disclosed to the State Department by Trump and members of his immediate family as required by law, the report says. House Democrats say the discovery

It has been a long time coming, and now the final act appears to be in view. Donald Trump is about to be arrested, and the corrupt and politicized authorities who have brought matters to this point are preparing for the worst: the NYPD, the Secret Service, and even the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force are all busy making preparations for the big day, which indicates several things about what will happen and what they expect will happen, or want us to think they expect will happen.NBC News reported Friday that “local, state and federal law enforcement and security agencies are preparing for the possibility that former President Donald Trump

This week, a professor at Loyola University in Chicago claimed that organized pantries in people’s homes are rooted in “racism and sexism.” Dr. Jenna Drenten, an associate professor of marketing at Loyola University, made the remarks in a piece for the Conversation, where she slammed the trend of people posting videos of their styled, organized pantries on the platform TikTok. According to Drenton, maintaining a clean, organized home equates to “sexist” and “racist” behavior, because most people who post “pantry porn” are white women (via the Conversation): Cleanliness has historically been used as a cultural gatekeeping mechanism to reinforce status distinctions based on a vague understanding of “niceness”:

WASHINGTON — President Biden told a series of cringe-worthy jokes about his Irish ancestry to mark St. Patrick’s Day, cracking that he’s surprised his distant Irish relatives aren’t “in jail” and that he’s “really not Irish” because he doesn’t drink alcohol. The 80-year-old president, who is roughly five-eighths Irish, made the seemingly stereotype-laden attempts at humor as House Republicans investigate his family’s international business deals amid a federal criminal investigation of first son Hunter Biden. “I’ve been to Ireland many times, but not to actually look up, to find my actual family members. And there are so many — and

The pearl-clutching apoplexy is thick in the latest report from NBC claiming the Dept of Homeland Security, FBI and New York City officials are conducting preparation drills in anticipation of President Trump being indicted for…. wait for it – paying porn star Stormy Daniels. Good grief, I mean they might as well have said the Pentagon is positioning satellites, NORAD is conducting drills and the National Guard has been put on alert… for something. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is investigating Trump for felony falsification of business records because President Trump paid his attorney, Michael Cohen, with business funds identified as ‘legal services’.

One of the more delightful aspects of being a dissident from the absurd apocalyptic climate doom cult is the ability to laugh at the decades’ worth of failed, yet quite specific predictions of disaster from purported “experts” that the media has gleefully trumpeted. The track record of the failure of previous predictions matters not in the least, as if mass amnesia has infected not just the media, but government, academia, and the corporate world. Yet, all of these commanding heights of our political economy are united in pushing forward with ruinously expensive schemes that cannot work
