President Joe Biden’s administration approved ConocoPhillips’ $8 billion drilling project in Alaska. From the Anchorage Daily News: ConocoPhillips’ $8 billion Willow prospect in the Indiana-size reserve is expected to be one of the largest oil fields developed in Alaska in decades. It would produce oil for three decades, including 180,000 barrels of oil daily at its peak. (Snip) The deal also forced ConocoPhillips to turn over 68,000 acres. (Snip) Kristen Miller, executive director of the Alaska Wilderness League, said her organization will continue to resist the project.

Comments:

Emissions from this new project equate to less than 1 percent of the total 2019 annual emissions.

The biggest one is the left’s narrative that insurrectionists killed officer Brian Sicknick: CARLSON: “A deadly insurrection. Everything about that phrase is a lie.(Snip)Surveillance video from inside the Capitol shows mostly peaceful chaos. But the slogan worked. The term deadly carries enormous emotional power, which is why they used it. To prove the insurrection was deadly, propagandists pointed to the death of an officer called Brian sicknick. WASHINGTON — Over the past 11 months, someone created thousands of fake, automated Twitter accounts—perhaps hundreds of thousands of them--to offer a stream of praise for Donald Trump. Besides posting adoring words about the former president, the fake accounts ridiculed Trump’s critics from both parties and attacked Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador who is challenging her onetime boss for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. When it came to Ron DeSantis, the bots aggressively suggested that the Florida governor couldn’t beat Trump, but would be a great running mate.
