If you’ve ever wondered why the Left is so successful in fooling so many people for so long, you might consider branding expert Rob Frankel’s observation.
The average IQ score is 100, encompassing about 68% of the population. If you add in the population who isn't even that bright, all the way down to the bottom of the barrel, you'll find that an astonishing 84% of the population ranges from "average" to "breathing paperweight." That leaves about 16% of people who are "above average" or "really, really smart."
(Actually post “pandemic,” I believe U.S. I.Q. scores have gone down for the first time in decades.)
Of course, some really smart people

Lenin is quoted as saying - "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." That's what the members of the J6 Committee did. Told lies, many of them big lies, often enough, accompanied by and endorsed by their friends in the media. Sicknick's death by fire extinguisher was one of them. Six Capitol Police lost their lives in the J6 insurrection was another. The entire J6 committee did Lenin proud. And it only cost the taxpayers a couple of million dollars. The Republican House should call all of the J6 Committee members to address the lies they told.

This is the first time I'm disagreeing with the sainted Clarice...No One with a modicum of integrity and /or Intelligence would have ever believed the BS about the J6 incident as given up by the Mainstream media!

There ARE a lot of "dumb" people out there. But a lot of "smart" people (college degrees) believe lies too.
To wit: tax the corporations - this will solve the deficit, and other statements of this nature.
J6 was a setup. We've known that all along.
It really comes down to where a person is grounded - in the Word of God, or human ideas.
All else follows from that, no matter what the perceived intelligence.

The fact that the MSDNC is the P.R. branch of the dim-0 party has helped them a lot in fooling so many people for so long.I mean, when you have the 6 o'clock news nationwide spreading their lies for them, thats reaching a lot of people.

A very excellent piece, as I've come to expect from Ms Feldman.
The opening remarks are weak in one respect, unfortunately (quoted in the introduction here). She uses "IQ" as a synonym for intelligence, as we commonly do, but it's really not. It's a "quotient," with 100 being the average by definition. 100 will always be pegged to the top of the bell curve, whether you're measuring a country of illiterates or a cloister of polymaths.
Her point is true beyond debate, however, that our reasoning skills and knowledge base generally have deteriorated over recent years. Successive IQ tests confirm this. And that may well make us a more gullible nation. It certainly makes us a less competitive one, in a world where weak competitors are seldom left unmolested, much less coddled, as we seem to imagine.

It's worse than that. Extreme intelligence and gullibility often go hand in hand. Within Mensa, whose members test in the top two percent of the population, there was almost universal acceptance of the George Floyd scam and they subsequently hired their own Diversity, Equity and Inclusion director. They lost members over it, the ones who immediately recognized the racially motivated guilt propaganda and BLM scams. Some people may test well but still retain ignorant and liberal minds. If you are truly a thinking person, January 6th was obvious on January 7th.

There are two factors at work to explain why lies and scams have such longevity.
Dumbness is one.
The other is dishonesty. People are making money off all these lies and scams so they will happily go along with anything they say. At least until the lies and scams collapse under their own weight. Then the people that went along with them will be screaming the loudest.
The 16% of people that are smart is actually misleading. How many of them engineer lies and scams? The percentage of people that are smart and honest and can be trusted is actually lower.

My brother is an extremely “intelligent” man. He holds several advanced degrees, and is a brilliant mathematician. He is also a Jesuit, and no matter what you think of the order, they are thinkers and philosophers, on a average receiving over a dozen years of scholastic training. He is also a major sufferer of Trump Derangement System. By my estimate, I have not had one, single conversation with him since President Trump was first elected, that Trump’s name didn’t come out of my brother’s mouth while we were discussing something completely unrelated to politics. The man is obsessed. I love my brother, but I can never reconcile his TDS and his intelligence. FWIW, every time he does that, I counter with Obama as an even worse example of whatever my brother was talking about. I do not let liberal BS stand unchallenged…from anyone.

While IQ does play a factor in people voting and advocating for demosluts, I believe just plain laziness accounts for most of it. People are just too lazy to question policies that the demosluts advocate for and which have a record of failure so many times it's like listening to a broken record. The drumbeat of Trump and the Republicans being mean is heard too many times and there are too many people who are more interested in becoming social media stars than the welfare of the country. They just assume those in charge have the country's best interest in mind. It's why the demosluts keep bringing out a fifty-year-old narrative that Republicans want to cut Social Security, and some people actually believe it despite the fact that there is no evidence that anyone is going to do it. If the past two years of demolsut rule hasn't convinced anyone to stop voting for demosluts, I don't know what will.

Does the article really state that 68% of the population has an IQ of 100? That is absurd. The actual number is 2.7%.
I wish people would get facts straight before they hit 'send'.

The fact that most people don't have an especially high IQ combined with the fact that most of those people do have a driver's license also explains a lot...

I believe the difference between the parties comes down to a belief in God. That seems to be the delineating factor separating us. People who recognize a higher power do not make the horrific choices that democrats do. Most all the culture rot comes from the left. Do not get me wrong, I am not declaring we are perfect, but we do know right from wrong and understand there are consequences for our actions both good and bad.

John Wayne's old saying: "Life's tough. It's tougher if you're stupid" is applicable. Chuck Schumer (reportedly) scored 1600 on the verbal-math portions of his SAT. If true, that's as well as one can score. Yet witness any of Schumer's public statements from the past several years. He has shed half of his once vaunted IQ by trying to defend the indefensible. Now Chuck's an idiot. Serves him right.
