Florida governor Ron DeSantis’s new book sold 94,300 copies in its first week — more sales than Donald Trump’s, Hillary Clinton’s, or Barack Obama’s books notched in their respective first weeks, according to NPD BookScan figures obtained by Business Insider. By comparison, Clinton sold 86,200 copies of her memoir Hard Choices in its first week, while Obama’s book The Audacity of Hope sold 67,500 copies during that time. Trump’s 2015 book, Crippled America, sold just 27,687 copies in its first week. DeSantis’s book The Courage to Be Free hit No. 1 on Amazon’s top 100 list on its release day, February 28. Would love to see the list of purchasers. Would surprise no one to find bulk orders by certain never-Trumper 'journalists', DC consultants, the Murdochs, and Wall Street types. Like many others, I support De Santis (as Governor) but we desperately need President Trump back in the Oval Office.

Interesting, but meaningless factoid. It's good for DeSantis and hopefully financially profitable. The comparison to the others doesn't provide any useful information.

What Trump needs to understand about criticizing DeSantis 0 replies

New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg is rumored to be ready to bring a sham indictment against former president Donald Trump for allegedly paying porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign to be quiet about a former affair. As of this writing, whether or not this happens remains to be seen. In the interim, political figures across the spectrum have weighed in on the matter, including Florida governor Ron DeSantis. Behaving eerily like leftist thought police, some staunch Trump-supporters had demanded that Governor DeSantis voice his unequivocal and unquestioning support for the former president. DeSantis did respond to inquiring reporters and spent almost three minutes

Donald Trump had been slowly increasing his national primary lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis since the fall — a trend that continues now that the former president is under threat of indictment. The spread between the former president and the Florida governor is now 11% in the Morning Consult poll. It’s 41-27% in the Monmouth Poll and 46-32% in the Quinnipiac Poll. Despite unprecedented negative coverage by the national media and the hype surrounding “the first president ever, ever, evah, to be indicted,” Trump has grown his lead over DeSantis since the beginning of the year. In the Morning Consult polls, Trump’s margin over DeSantis has increased

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday raised its benchmark interest rate by a quarter of a point, forging ahead with its fight against stubborn inflation despite a spate of bank failures and a growing crisis within the financial sector. The move puts the key benchmark federal funds rate at a range of 4.75% to 5%, the highest since 2007, from near zero just one year ago. It marks the ninth consecutive rate increase, following a half-point hike in December and four jumbo-sized 75-basis-point hikes before that. Fed officials are in the midst of the most aggressive tightening campaign since the 1980s as they try to crush inflation that is still running

Trump claimed over the weekend that he would be arrested Tuesday in connection with a $130,000 payment allegedly made to the porn actress on his behalf. “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

As Tuesday winds down, it’s becoming clear that the arrest of Donald Trump isn’t going to happen as originally proclaimed on the former president’s Truth Social feed. A new exclusive from The Daily Mail is providing fresh details. According to the report, Trump is expected to be indicted on Wednesday after a final witness appears before the grand jury. The Daily Mail makes it sound definitive in its headline, but the fact that there’s still outstanding testimony to present gives me pause. Donald Trump will likely be indicted on Wednesday but won’t appear before a judge in New York until next week, DailyMail.com has learned.

Anyway, a recent idiotic article posted on Afru.com makes the argument that drinking coffee perpetuates white supremacy. Yeah.
