How the Biden administration has quietly

Last year, the Biden administration caved to public outcry and disbanded its infamous Disinformation Governance Board under its “Disinformation Nanny,” Nina Jankowicz. Yet, as explored in a recent hearing (in which I testified), the Biden administration never told the public about a far larger censorship effort involving an estimated 80 FBI agents secretly targeting citizens and groups for disinformation. Now it appears that the administration also was partially funding an “index” to warn advertisers to avoid what the index deemed to be dangerous disinformation sites. It turns out that all ten of the “riskiest” sites identified by the Global Disinformation Index are popular with conservatives, libertarians and independents.

It's important to remind ourselves that Biden does not have the capacity, skill or understanding to do any of this psychobabble manipulation. We need to keep turning over rocks to identify the little Deep State communists behind the curtain. Joe doesn't know where he is or why he is.

When Donald Trump Jr. spoke this past weekend ...I was thrilled...he's just like his father...President Trump...calls a spade a spade and turns the democrat's action into a benefit for conservatives...case in point...he says..."walk with your wallets"....bingo...that's how WE fight back...don't buy china products...stay away from Coca Cola and lucky charms and ben and jerry ice cream....no her/she candy bars...and don't send your grandchildren to Disney world...no contrived movies with social grooming themes...like superman and Lois....and now they are after my wonderful zip-a-dee-doo-dah man that made Us all sing and be happy...

Beating Democrats on Social Security Reform 13 replies

The thing about Social Security is that from the beginning it was designed to encourage misconceptions. It looks, on casual inspection, like a giant version of a private pension plan. You pay into such a plan during your working years, contributing to a pension fund, and when you retire you receive payments from that fund in proportion to the amount you put in. ... I'm pretty sure that it was set up to look like an ordinary pension fund because that made it politically easier to sell. But in reality, Social Security has never been run like a private pension plan.
Are Republicans Trying to Destroy Social Security? 7 replies

Following his State of the Union Address, President Biden has been on the attack over the GOPs’ many proposals to reform Social Security. Before you react to the talking points, you should ask: Is there any validity to Biden’s concerns? To even the casual observer, Biden’s apprehensions concerning the GOP’s Social Security reform proposals appear to ignore one basic fact -- and likely the most important one. There is not a Republican plan or even lone Republican member of Congress pushing reductions to benefits on the scale that Social Security is scheduled to reduce checks going to seniors on its own when the trust fund is exhausted.

Three deep-water explosions destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines under the Baltic Sea in September 2022. Swedish seismologists reported that one of the three explosions measures 2.3 on the Richter Scale of earthquake intensity, but this was no earthquake. It was explosion—like a gigantic undersea mine. The explosions guaranteed that Germany and the EU would not go wobbly with regard to sanctions against Russian energy imports. The damage to the pipelines will take months to repair, and repairs are unlikely to begin until this summer. Even if Germany were to cry “uncle” as civil unrest intensifies over lack of heat and energy,

After failing to orchestrate a federal takeover of state election administration two years ago, Democrats are back with their newest strategy to seize control of America’s electoral process. In blue state legislatures, leftists are working to advance election bills that seek to dramatically overhaul state elections by enshrining Democrat-backed voting practices into law. The widespread effort is an attempt to implement national Democrats’ HR 1 policies in states across the country

The White House announced on Monday that it was giving federal agencies 30 days to remove TikTok from all government-issued devices. Monday's move arrives as the popular Chinese-owned social media app faces increased scrutiny in Washington and in states across the country over security concerns – with critics claiming that the Chinese government could use TikTok to gain access to private user data or spread misinformation. TikTok is already not allowed on White House devices – and some other federal agencies, including the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security, also have similar restrictions in place.

Leonard Downie Jr., the former executive editor of The Washington Post and professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, recently attempted to make a case against objectivity in the pages of the Washington Post. You read that correctly, a senior newsman is now against objectivity. His January 30 piece launches as follows:  “…Increasingly, reporters, editors, and media critics argue that the concept of journalistic objectivity is a distortion of reality.

The irresistible force is mail-in ballots, nonexistent signature verification, phantom voter rolls, a feckless Republican Party, Republican governors donating tax money to a George Soros–funded entity to clean voter rolls — election commissions changing ZIP codes so mail-in ballots stack up — courts refusing to remove dead people from voter rolls unless they miss two consecutive elections, and a Republican presidential candidate who thinks he can win with ballot-harvesting. What could go wrong in 2024?

I guess all that “culture” (human feces and heroin needles) and “excitement” (rampant crime) of life in a big city is getting a little old for Michael Moritz, a partner at Sequoia Capital. But, don’t you smug conservatives get any ideas, these blights aren’t a byproduct of Democrat ideas — San Francisco is merely “held hostage” by “political classes.” In an essay published by The New York Times today, Moritz acknowledged the city was indeed “crippled” by “homeless encampments” and “drug addicts” before he blamed conservatives for rubbing Democrat noses in the mess. Moritz opened his piece with this:

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice warned on Sunday that potential 2024 GOP presidential contenders who have called for the U.S. to pull back its support for Ukraine in its war with Russia should be careful with their words. During an appearance on CBS’s “Face The Nation,” moderator Margaret Brennan asked Rice about recent remarks from former President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) criticizing the U.S. for its robust support for Kyiv.

Tens of thousands of people filled Mexico City’s vast main plaza Sunday to protest President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s electoral law changes they say threaten democracy and could mark a return to the past. The plaza is normally thought to hold nearly 100,000 people, but many protesters who couldn’t fit in the square spilled onto nearby streets. The marchers were clad mostly in white and pink — the color of the National Electoral Institute — and shouted slogans like “Don’t Touch my Vote!” Like a similar but somewhat larger march on Nov. 13, the marchers appeared somewhat more affluent than those at the average demonstration.

We know that the left is always looking for an opportunity to silence those who challenge their groupthink. Their target isn't only conservatives, but anybody who disagrees with their worldview even in the slightest possible way. They left lives in the hope that contrarians to their groupthink will either misspeak or express a nuanced and detailed idea that can be extracted, stripped of context, and made to appear bigoted. This gives them reason to mount a social media campaign and initiate cancelation.

Kamala Harris may suffer from aphasia 48 replies

Kamala Harris's verbal utterances are bizarre, repetitive, and often not completed. (snip) Aphasics may do this to hide the fact that they can literally not hold onto the meaning of their narrative, to carry it to completion. So, they make up an ending to the story and then perhaps flip into a semantically weird ending. Harris often simply repeats her first sentence. This is not planned for a rational purpose, and she often solves her semantic confusion by bursting out in stereotypical laughter, with gestures, to encourage her listeners to think she just did a funny.

A Democratic delegate proposed a law in Maryland that would bar anyone under 25 years of age from being charged with felony murder. Delegate Charlotte Crutchfield, a Democrat, made the proposition through the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, House Bill 1180, local news outlet WBFF reported. A defendant in Maryland can be charged with felony murder if the person commits a murder during a felony crime, such as robbery. Crutchfield and supporters of the bill say that the brain is not fully developed before age 25, so issuing so harsh a sentence is unfair. America’s top medical schools, worried they have too few minority students, are doing something about it. They are lowering academic standards for admission and trying to hide the evidence. Columbia, Harvard, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Mount Sinai, and the University of Pennsylvania have already done so. The list already tops forty, and more are sure to follow. Of course, the universities won’t admit what they are doing – and certainly not why. All they will say is that their new standards add “equity” and “lived experience.” Unfortunately, adding those factors inevitably lessens the weight given to others.

One tries to read widely on the state of the Ukraine war, though it’s extremely difficult to cut through the fog of propaganda and obvious lies. But slowly, the picture of a determined, slow-moving, grinding, painful Russian victory emerges. Ukrainian casualties are almost certainly at unbearable, unsustainable levels. Closest guesses are in the range of 250,000 KIA, orders of magnitude greater than Russia’s, which draws from a vastly larger population. Ukraine is losing a generation of its male youth, all to prop up a declining US planetary hegemony.
