Ranking Dem Derails Covid-Origins Hearing
by Smearing Witness as Racist

Rather than trying to get to the bottom of how the pandemic began, Representative Raul Ruiz (D., N.M.) spent his allotted time during Wednesday morning’s hearing on Covid’s origins berating one of the witnesses over a book he wrote ten years earlier on the human genome, implying that the book was motivated by racism. Ruiz, the ranking Democrat on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, used his opening statement and much of his first round of questioning to argue that his Republican colleagues had compromised the panel’s efforts to investigate Covid’s origins by calling Nicholas Wade as a witness. “Today’s hearing marks a concerning step

Typical Democrat response to anything or anyone that they do not like or agree with. Demonize them and their work as a racist with no proof other than their feelings and accusations. Of course, these accusations are all made very publicly during Congressional hearings with the goal of discrediting the person's expertise and knowledge of the subject so that the Democrat narrative on the hearing's subject will not be discredited. Democrats do not want to get to the truth about what happened with Covid. Same as they do no want to let the truth out about January 6.

Accusations of racism are over. No one is paying attention any more because, as usual, the Left have overplayed the race card. Now, being called a racist means nothing. It has lost its sting and its ability to shape the narrative. That is why the whole race industry is going to come crashing down. CRT, DEI, ESG, SEL, the whole alphabet Leftist agenda is going to be repudiated very soon. Count on it.

Maybe the Chinese made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Unfortunately, the committee chairman missed his opportunity to kick him out of and off the committee for his biased behavior. republicans need to learn to play the Democrat version of hardball!! Florida will be allowed to defund Planned Parenthood on June 1, after a federal judge ended a permanent injunction on Tuesday blocking part of a 2016 law. U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle, of the United States District Court Northern District of Florida, reversed the permanent injunction on part of House Bill 1411, which prohibits state and local dollars from going to institutions that provide abortions. Hinkle stated in his order that the “essential basis of the ruling [in 2016] was the right to an abortion under Roe v. Wade.” But with Roe overturned in the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision last summer, the previous order no longer had legal standing.

An exaggeration? Probably not to progressive Democrats. Since Joe Biden’s attempt to rally his base in the State of the Union speech a month ago, they see Biden’s actions moving his White House closer to that of his predecessor. That’s not an exaggeration, anyway. First, Biden directly contradicted his commitment in that SOTU to independent statehood for DC by endorsing a rare congressional override. Nearly at the same time, his administration began tacking back toward a Trump-era immigration policy on family detentions that Biden himself had explicitly criticized. Most importantly, as Semafor highlights this morning, Biden has failed to engage with Democrats on any of these moves
