A former FBI assistant director is warning Americans that nowhere in Mexico is safe from the cartels, after the kidnapping of four US citizens and murder of two last week. Latavia McGee and Eric Williams were yesterday found alive in a stash house near Matamoros, a border town in the northeast Mexican state of Tamaulipas. McGee's cousin Shaeed Woodard and friend Zindell Brown were both shot dead. Their kidnapping is still being investigated, but US and Mexican authorities believe they were mistaken for a rival human trafficking gang and were taken by members of the Gulf Cartel.

Comments:

It ain't safe. The border's open, the cash is flowing to cartels. Stay the heck out.

If you see the video, you can tell that the cartel goons are taking their time hauling in the bodies and such. No worry about the coppers showing up soon, because many of the Mexican cops either are on the take or are wise enough to know that if they get involved, they (and their families) may pay the price. I remember a time when Nuevo Laredo went through police chiefs at an alarming rate. Seems a number of them were affected by acute lead poisioning incidents complements of the reigning cartel.

No doubt there are a lot of politicians on both sides of the borderline are being corruptly paid off by the Mexican criminal cartels or the borderline would not be out of control for so long. Beyond that Biden’s “open borders” unlawful initiatives are all on Biden! There are Mexican cartel operatives in every illegal alien community across the USA. Once illicit drugs or illegal aliens have been smuggled across the borderline into the USA, and to the interior illegal alien communities, cartel operatives there distribute those illicit drugs to US drug dealers who then sell those drugs throughout greater US communities.

AMLO (presidente) and the Mexican elites try to stay low and out of the way. Some even have financial interests in the cartels. Carlos Slim is one--he long ago should have been interrogated--and like Slim, every one of those elites have business interests, property, and cash in the US. Someone like Trump would have seized and frozen their assets until our Army could go in and if needed carpet bomb cartel areas. As to the unfortunate medical tourists, their story smells like week-old baccala on a hot sidewalk. Matamoros, across from Brownsville, is not where you go for medical work: Mexico City and area, Cancun-Merida, Tijuana, Cabo, and other places in Baja are where you go. Now could it be that they were fronting for one cartel's drugs in NC, went down to negotiate new terms, and were offed by one side or the other? And the woman was traveling with them for her side benefit, which was to get some cosmetic work done further into MX after the men did their thing?

I spent many years living in Central and South America in the 1970's and 80's. I never, once, went to Mexico, nor would I go there today. I think its more dangerous than Jamaica, Haiti or Nicaragua. Mexicans, in Mexico, are notoriously corrupt and their government is corrupt starting right at the top with AMLO. Ironically I have employed several Mexican workers in the U.S. and they are above reproach. If they get here many show an entrepreneurial attitude. My experience with U.S. based Mexican nationals is totally positive.

The Biden administration is trying to kneecap Mexico, because they have told him they intend to continue producing oil and gas, and not follow the green agenda. If Biden cared about cartels, he would do something about the cartel's complete control of the southern border, about the drugs entering our country, about the Americans killed and robbed by illegals. Maybe the State Dept should issue a warning to American citizens about traveling anywhere in America. And a warning to to travel to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, or Spain -- not unless they want to be rubber bulleted for not wearing a mask, or believing in their covid hoax.

In Matamoros, was it mistaken I.D., or
were Americans specially targeted?

In Matamoros, the four kidnapped Americans taken by cartel henchmen were rescued, but horrifically enough, two were murdered, victims in Mexico's vicious cartel war brought on by Joe Biden's open border. News reports, citing an anonymous U.S. official, say that the four, who were black U.S. citizens from South Carolina, were mistaken by the killers aligned with the Gulf Cartel, for rival Haitian drug dealers. Now this is possible, but it doesn't seem tp be a complete story. It implicitly suggests that the killings never would have happened otherwise. Reading between the lines, this seems to say: Don't be in Mexico at the wrong place and the wrong time.

Remember Nina Jankowicz? That would be the now flamed-out Biden administration appointee who was to lead Joe Biden's "Disinformation Governance Board," the agency hatched by the Bidenites to police Americans' speech in the name of "protecting" Americans from "disinformation." That was until Congress got wind of it and the public found out and the Homeland Security's Advisory Board scrapped it last August. Jankowicz was out of a job then, but seemed to have landed on her feet, reemerging as a registered foreign agent working for some British public relations firm seeking to exert some kind of influence on the American government.

Biden also raises more revenue by increasing taxes on oil and gas companies, hiking the corporate tax rate to 28%, up from 21% imposed under former President Donald Trump but below the 35% tax pre-2017, and allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. With Biden likely to run for re-election in 2024, his budget is also a preview into his platform as a candidate and campaign pitch in the year ahead.
