“What price Churchill?” was the question famously posed by the poster that appeared in the Strand in the last week of July 1939. The Daily Mirror asked: “The writing on the wall? This giant poster is causing considerable comment.” The poster was a plea for Churchill’s leadership. He was finally summoned to serve as Prime Minister upon Neville Chamberlain resignation on May 10, 1940. Churchill recalled in his history of the war: “I felt as if I were walking with destiny, and that all my past life had been but a preparation for this hour and for this trial.”
By contrast, President Biden is something of a wrecking ball.

The Orange County Register’s headline was another signpost along the way of our long march toward Racial Justice: “Disneyland quietly removes controversial lyric from new parade soundtrack.” That’s good, eh? It’s heartwarming to see the big corporations doing what must be done in order to ensure a just and equitable society for all. And so visitors to Disneyland will never again be subjected to having to hear these horrific racist lyrics: “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay / My, oh my, what a wonderful day / Plenty of sunshine headin’ my way / Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay.”
The Register’s story was not a parody, although, in any sane society, it would have been.

When someone harms or destroys a bald eagle in this country, the federal penalties are swift and draconian. Like it or not, it's the law.
But there seems to be an exception to it now: When the perpetrator is an illegal.
Breitbart News reports this story:
"Federal authorities have not yet brought criminal charges against two Honduran nationals who allegedly shot and killed a bald eagle in Nebraska to eat it for dinner. (Snip) So there they were, all set to cook and eat the national bird for dinner. It calls to mind that over in Venezuela, the locals took to eating zoo animals to stave off hunger.

A report from Business.com finds that there is discrimination against “non-binary” people. At least, non-binary people believe there is discrimination. “Over 80% of nonbinary people believe that identifying as nonbinary would hurt their job search,” the report finds. Also, 51% believe their gender identity has “affected their workplace experience.”
Business.com sent out two identical “phantom” resumes to “180 unique job postings that were explicitly open to entry-level candidates” in an effort to test “whether or not the inclusion of gender-neutral pronouns impacts how employers perceive resumes.”

Antifa? Black Lives Matter? Come on, man! You’ll find it comforting to know that the FBI has been busy tracking the real terrorists that threaten the safety of every decent, law-abiding American today: people who traveled to Washington for Trump’s rally against election fraud on Jan. 6, 2021, and Americans who dare to oppose the relentless sacrifices to Moloch that are the cornerstone of the Democrat Party’s program. The FBI has become so thoroughly corrupt and politicized that its agents apparently have no problem serving as attack dogs for the Left’s sinister agenda.
Just The News reported Saturday that the feds have “politicized cases

“Listen up, New York—Florida sucks, and you’ll all be back in five years.” So proclaimed New York Post reporter Steve Cuozzo last June, after the flight south of hundreds of thousands of his fellow citizens from the Empire State. Many have found refuge in Florida, which prides itself on generous tax laws, low crime, a pro-business environment, unobtrusive pandemic policies, an anti-woke ethos, and general ease of life.
“You’ll all be sorry,” Cuozzo predicted. What are his complaints about the “Sunshine State?” On a visit to Miami Beach, he had waited too long for coffee. A friend’s ocean view was blocked by new construction. Sometimes it rains.

An enormous lady (I’m assuming gender identity) who strongly resembles Ursula from the Little Mermaid is angry that, apparently, doctors keep telling her to lose weight. So, she shared her frustrations in an uncomfortable rant to TikTok.
“Your doctor is lying!” she exclaims. [Tweet] What the TikToker is referencing — as her eyes bug out (why do all their eyes do that?) — is the purely academic Social Justice™ theory developed by overpaid, bored women’s and gender studies scholars that somehow, preference for non-morbidly-obese mates is the product of White Supremacy™. I have reported on this phenomenon elsewhere.

New York never fails to amuse me. We are all familiar with Saturday Night Live, an NBC production that, in its early years and with its original stellar cast, was the comedic highlight of the week as it came to us "live from New York." Even if its laugh-provoking talent has diminished since the days of John Belushi and Gilda Radner, it can still produce at least an occasional chuckle from this fossilized cynic. Additionally, the comedy routines of the Cuomo brothers, much like the brothers Marx, have me in stitches when I view them. But lately, both the city

Trans extremism is a new phenomenon whose rise has been fueled by another innovation, the internet. Trans extremism has exerted considerable pressure; through that pressure, it has rapidly advanced real-world gains. Indeed, short of a military invasion and occupation, it is difficult to imagine another movement advancing as quickly and changing society as thoroughly.
This movement is associated with the left, but even leftists are questioning trans extremism. Leftist questioning occurs, inter alia, in the comments sections of liberal publications. This questioning suggests that though trans extremism has successfully

WalletHub’s recently released rankings of the happiest cities seems to defy reality. Then again, the psychologists who concocted the rankings seem to defy common sense.
The list was conjured by a bunch of homogeneous professors — by one measure, liberal professors outnumber conservatives by 12 to 1. What’s more, the professors behind this “happiest cities” ranking are all psychologists, in one form or another. Perhaps one of the professions most dominated by liberal social activists, studies indicate that the ratio of liberals to conservatives in the field of psychology is 14 to 1. That’s not very diverse.
Not to unnecessarily cast aspersions, but given these forbidding ratios,

The New York Times, that intrepid warrior for anything and everything that the Left is hysterical about, on Friday published a lengthy piece about a source of systemic racism that no one has ever noticed before: It seems that equestrian helmets are racist because they don’t accommodate the dreadlocks that some black horse riders wear. One black rider’s mother lamented: “Mostly everything in this sport isn’t designed for us.” Well, that’s got to change, and these Jackie Robinsons of the Coiffure, with the Times’ generous help, are leading the way to the Equestrian

The Democratic mayor of College Park, Maryland, who is openly homosexual and fancied himself a role model for LGBTQ youth, was arrested on dozens of counts of possessing and distributing child pornography on Thursday morning.
Forty-seven-year-old Patrick Lewis Wojahn, the first openly homosexual mayor of his city, has been a frequent visitor to the White House, having attended LGBTQ events hosted by Joe Biden. Wojahn described Biden as “the most pro-LGBTQ President in US history!” Wojahn and his partner were also invited to Biden’s signing of the Respect for Marriage Act on the South Lawn of the White House. Wojahn also boasted about being “mentored” by Pete Buttigieg
