At a time when Republicans are increasingly asserting themselves in battles over a coterie of acronyms that have captured the commanding heights of American society – ESG, DEI, and CRT – Rep. Jim Banks has emerged as a leader in the GOP-controlled House of the fight against the “wokeism” these theories collectively represent.
A fourth-term congressman from Indiana, Banks has earned his anti-woke bona fides by engaging in high-profile clashes with military officials over their embrace of “anti-racist” literature and related initiatives, the Chamber of Commerce over issues ranging from woke capitalism to China, and Twitter over his “misgendering” of Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Rachel Levine.

The need for America to re-affirm the First Amendment and its principles has once again been underscored by the recent findings coming out about the origins and impact of the coronavirus. The most important problem we have as a society is not misinformation but the suppression of non-conforming opinions that often (but not always) turn out to be true.
Americans sense this already. They are concerned about what tech companies have been doing to censor content, with 61% of voters in a recent Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll believing that the government and tech companies worked together to enforce political censorship.

Proud of her efforts that resulted in the potential loss of tens of thousands of jobs, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., recently bragged about dissuading Amazon from building another headquarters in New York City. She also slammed the naysayers who she claimed never apologized for criticizing her over it.
Critics came back to knock the "Squad" member on social media for the post, claiming she doesn’t "deserve an apology" and should "resign."

As President Biden left the White House Friday, he approached then swiftly turned his back on reporters after one asked him to comment on COVID-19’s origins. On Tuesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Fox News the COVID-19 pandemic was likely caused by a lab leak in Wuhan, China, a theory that was initially dubbed as a conspiracy. This followed a similar analysis from the Department of Energy.
NTD News White House Correspondent Iris Tao shared her footage of the encounter with Biden on Twitter. In it, Biden can be seen leaving the White House and approaching the reporters waiting outside until Tao can be heard asking about COVID-19’s origin

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., blamed a member of her staff for not paying the "several thousands of dollars' worth of goods and services" for her attendance at the 2021 Met Gala. The House Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) opened an investigation into whether Ocasio-Cortez violated House rules by improperly accepting gifts at the Met Gala, but the congresswoman claimed she was unaware and proceeded to let a staff member take the blame.
While speaking to investigators, Ocasio-Cortez said that she was unaware of unpaid expenses related to the dress she wore and stylists that helped her get ready for the Met Gala in 2021. "I just never, ever, ever would have

Unfortunately for Ron DeSantis, expectations of him could not be higher. For a critical mass of Republicans seeking to move past Donald Trump, the Florida governor is already the anointed savior. While Trump still holds the lead in most polling, DeSantis is almost always second choice and is the favorite for many Republicans who want a new standard bearer because they believe Trump can’t win.
Though he has not yet launched a campaign, and his allies say he would not until the state legislature completes its session in May, DeSantis definitely wants us all to think he will soon be a presidential candidate.

An Arizona school board member wearing cat ears during a meeting said she would oppose having a contract with a Christian university over the religious and Biblical beliefs they espouse, Fox News Digital found. The Washington Elementary School District, which serves students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas, had an ongoing contract with Arizona Christian University for five years, enabling their student teachers to be placed in its schools for field experience. The contract opened up opportunities for recruitment and hiring.
On Feb. 23, the board agreed on a motion to dissolve the partnership with the Christian university.

After nearly a year, former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann once again argued on Wednesday that the easiest solution to push back against Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., would be to move Disney World to another state.
The tweet came two days after DeSantis signed a bill into law that officially revoked Disney’s previous self-governing power over the Reedy Creek Improvement District, the district where Disney World is located. The bill put the district under the control of a state board of term-limited members recently announced by DeSantis.
In response to this move, Olbermann insisted that Disney should fire back by moving its massive park and "burning" the remains.

Just over a year ago, Chancellor Olaf Scholz gave a speech to the German parliament that is likely to define his chancellorship — and he was barely two months into it. The "Zeitenwende" speech (literally "turning of the times"), a response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, was built on the announcement that the German military would receive a special one-off fund of €100 billion to be upgraded.
On June 3, the center-right opposition in the Bundestag joined forces with the ruling parties to change the constitution and allow the additional debt — an unprecedented occurrence in the history of the Federal Republic.
Since then, Scholz's center-left coalition has been dogged by broadsides

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at risk of having their royal titles challenged if one lawmaker has his way.
Following the couple’s release of their six-part Netflix documentary in December, Bob Seely, a Conservative Member of the U.K. Parliament, announced he would try to introduce a bill to strip the couple of their royal titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Seely said Harry, in particular, was attacking important British institutions "as well as trashing his family and monetizing his misery for public consumption."
Jonathan Sacerdoti, a British broadcaster and royal commentator, told Fox News Digital the 56-year-old is adamant about moving forward with his plans.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, lost her re-election bid Monday night, and critics are celebrating the end of her term. Under Lightfoot, Chicago has seen soaring crime rates, which became a theme of her opponents' criticism. In 2021, homicides in Chicago rose to their highest numbers in 25 years, outpacing other crime-ridden cities like New York City and Los Angeles.
Throughout her tenure, the mayor has been blasted for her poor relationship with law enforcement, as the city's police department lost a significant number of officers in recent years amid the rise in crime.

For years, Democrats have spread the message that America is irredeemable, that our original sin defines our present and the future is dependent on our faith in government — not in each other.
I was born in 1965, two years after Dr. King said, “I Have a Dream,” and I am living proof that American dreams do come true. My mom spent her teenage years surrounded by segregation. My granddaddy, her father, had to step off the sidewalk to let white folks pass. He had to drop out of school in the third grade to pick cotton. When I was a kid, I remember granddaddy would
