On Monday, I wrote an article regarding Ron DeSantis’ epic dunk on New York City Eric Adams’ attempts to shame the Florida governor over his policies. A Twitter user clapped back: (Tweet) The problem with this kind of misguided thinking is that it ignores an obvious point: New Yorkers have been fleeing the city in droves since the start of the pandemic, and many of them are multi-millionaires or billionaires who pay most of the taxes that keep the Big Apple running.
Daily Mail reports on the exodus of residents (and money):

And many of the electorate sheep, Baa Baa, thought she would be better than Andrew "Nursing Home Murderer/Sexual Harasser" Cuomo. The employees at the publication, New York Cesspool, enjoy doing the backstroke.

I'll bet there are far more "subway incidents" in NYC in one week than "forced births" in Florida all year..

That's why the commies always eventually build walls (or iron curtains) to keep their victims in.
Remember as the mem says, the mice don't understand why the cheese is free.

Flee away. There are plenty of incoming criminals and totally ignorant refugees to take your place.

Yes, flee away. But if you’re a leftist, please don’t come to South Carolina. You will be miserable here because you’ll hate our politics, our humor, our friendliness and our good manners.

Let them know that where I live in FL we are a bunch of toothless rubes in coveralls.. We have raised pickups for mud races, we drink a lot and get rowdy. Gators and wild boar everywhere. The livestock gets scared on Friday and Saturday nights.
Go somewhere else, you'll like it more.

The ultra wealthy that vote mostly blue like the snobs in Aspin or Martha Vineyards? They should be forced to stay with their woke voting.

All you NYC dwellers and coastal Californians - You will hate the giant cockroaches in Florida. They are not scared like NY roaches. They crawl all over you while you are sleeping. And when you wake up they don't run very fast. They just stroll away. The Floridians call them "Palmetto Bugs" but they are GIANT Cockroaches.
And coastal liberals, don't forget the lizards that fall on you from trees on cold days.
And thirteen foot gators that come for your dog or cat but will be happy to take you instead.
And Hurricanes. Even if it misses your place, the tornadoes that come after might get you. Or the floods. Or you may end up sweltering in the fall heat and oppressive humidity for days without power, covered with palmetto bugs and hunted by venomous snakes, displaced alligators, possibly huge boa constrictors or pythons. And don't forget panthers.
And by the way, the folks in eastern California are just as bad as the Florida rednecks and we also have poisonous snakes, mountain lions and oppressive heat. Not like you folks where the temperature is always between 60 and 80 and you rarely need heat or air conditioning.

Agree with you Mike 22 and don't forget those Palmetto bugs can fly and we have scorpions ( unfortunately i have encountered a few } ,,fire ants , termites that eat concrete , small lizards every where (much to my cats delight ) , snakes galore and you will find them in your neighborhood believe me , alligator in that lovely pond , incredible heat and humidity in summer June, July August ,September and no wonderful Autumn colors.. And if you want to have a nice lawn you better be prepared to hire a service because you will not win against the bugs , weeds and diseases that can destroy your lawn overnite. However I wouldn't live anywhere else...Fla Cracker

One of my wife's nephews is exceedingly wealthy, like he charters a jet when the family travels. He left NYC for rural NJ about 10 years ago, and left the NJ home for SC during the DemPanic.

You'll hate West Virginia too. Dont come here. We talk funny and we marry our cousins. Our roads are like the surface of the moon. Some of our houses have electricity, but almost none have running water. We have more guns than dogs and more dogs than kids. Our ears are on the sides of our necks and the one dentist in the state works out of a barber shop. We have no art galleries or coffee houses.
Best to stay away. You wont like it here.

I am fascinated with YouTube cash Jordan - he is a real estate apartment tour show.. He goes through apartments in New York- I actually love his videos- but as fun as they are here are my take away: the rents for a crappy 1 bedroom apartment are over 3000 a month! In order to save money, you are forced to share space with roommates. A box to call your own is basically a closet- with bathroom in a hallway shared with other renters.
Why would anyone want to love in NYC?

Many of them came to NJ although I do not know why. All of our cities are toilets, we have high taxes and crime....but....we do have a population that is sooooo stupid that after having one former Goldman Sachs executive resign in disgrace as governor, we proceeded to elect another one.

Eric Adams is a clothes horse and a fool. It's a true shame he never had any real competition. But then Lee Zeilden SHOULD have won over the outrageous and corrupt Kathy Hochul for Governor and look what happened there, and these fleeing rich gave $ to her and voted for her. One thing, Folks....these rich and famous are fleeing to YOUR part of the world and will bring their politics with them, so beware. They are all for everything ridiculous UNTIL it hits them, and they they start another nest somewhere else to feather.

Who outside of New Yawk City did not anticipate this two years ago when Cuomo and de Blabbo were still murdering people and watching big stores being looted and burned and couldn't wait to say "Told ya so, schmucks?" The place is going to go belly-up soon under the black Tiny Dancer but unfortunately there are thousands of liberals willing to send them our tax dollars to bail them out and rebuild from the ashes.

I fled Chicago when Obama won...I knew it was just a matter of time before WE became another victim of the democrat machine and their need for a figure head to destroy the city...and here goes New York...WE left with 500,000 others...a substantial tax base and Chicago has been jumping through hoops since...the Chicago elite have what they wanted...a substantial voter base that votes how they are told...an unattractive mayor who worries only about herself and her protection....Old Mayor Daley loved his city...this mayor uses it...

Typical. So, the uber-wealthy lefties pull up stakes and move to Florida where they will contaminate the political hierarchy there. Just stay out of western Colorado, lefties, lest you develop mental health problems from looking at all of the Trump 2024 banners all over town.
