George Alan Kelly, 73, was arrested for killing Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, on his Arizona ranch in Kino Springs just outside of Nogales, Mexico on January 30.
Kelly was being held at the Santa Cruz County jail on $1 million bond, but he posted bail and was released from custody on Wednesday, Fox News confirmed.
According to reports, Gabriel Cuen-Butimea has a history of illegally crossing into the United States and multiple deportations.
Authorities found a Mexican voter registration card on the decedent.

This is disgraceful. Daily people are killed just walking down the sidewalk and their killers are released to do it again. But this man protected his property and he gets charged? It's just so wrong.

What is it called when a government is so in love with its criminals and invaders that it prosecutes people who are protecting themselves from those same criminals? If I remember right it sounds a lot like treason.
He should have killed every last one of them. No telling how many crimes that would have prevented.
We are living in a surreal, dystopian movie. The sad part is so many see this as normal now and see nothing wrong with it.

I guess the Question I have is, what in the world is wrong with Law Enforcement in AZ that they would charge this Elderly Man with Murder for defending his Wife and his Property. Ranchers all over AZ have come forward to say they too have had Illegals try to enter their Homes or damage their Property. Anyone with a Brain could see this man isn't someone who deserves to spend his remaining years in a Jail Cell. Good Grief, it's come to this! Defend your property from Illegals, and you wind up losing what's left of your life. So, I guess the message is, let those Illegals do as they please and don't touch them or you might just wind up like George! What a twisted world we live in. Years back, the "3 S's" would be the order of the day in this story!

This story is one of the most heartbreaking things ever. My Texas rancher brother has told me it isn’t that illegals aren’t trespassing, stealing, damaging
all manner of property on many Texas properties. If it were twenty years ago, we would be able to use our weapon and take care of it. Now, yes supposedly we have the right to protect our property but who knows if I too would not end up in jail.

Every gunshot murder case in which the suspect's purported gun has been retrieved includes the forensic examination of the round with a match to the type of gun used. Do the microscopic striations on the round as it passed through the barrel match the defendant's rifle? A state crime lab ballistics examiner will provide critical testimony that could convict or exonerate Kelly.

apparently they haven't even matched the ballistics from the single bullet that killed the trespasser to his gun. He called the border patrol three times that day alone...THEY did nothing to track down Illegal border hopping ...armed....trespassers. The dead guy was an affluent resident from just across the border, with multiple catch and release interactions with Customs/Border Patrol...he was either a drug/human trafficking guide or cartel overseer....or both.
He wasn't "Undocumented" he had documents that PROVED he had no business this side of the border, at least no lawful business.

It's time to take out the DA who charged this man! And, I mean "take out" in the most virulent manner possible! Put the Judge on notice, he's next!

These illegal aliens literally defecate on farmers' crops, slaughter their cattle, leave mounds of waste all over the place, etc ad nauseum, but why're the victims. In this instance, little to no support for local law enforcement - sometimes the police are just as bad as the criminals.

The invaders were carrying AK 47's and backpacks and had already fired a shot that stampeded his horse. After firing over their heads to run them off, investigating officers found no victim. It was only later while looking for his horse that he found the body which he reported. Any rancher knows how to shoot to miss. Even if he did shoot one of them, they were decked out in tactical gear with machine guns likely carrying drugs and had already fired at least one shot near his home. No forensics have been done. What a frame up.

A man who was forced to kill someone to protect his property is not a flight risk.
A Million Dollar bail was placed on this man as a punishment before trial.

Let's see. Two Hispanics: Judge Emiliano Velasquez and Chief Deputy Gerardo Castillo on the case, and non-Hispanic George Kelly on their cross-hairs. I smell a couple of rats.

Praise the Lord! We pray to see Mr. Kelly is given justice, if not
by our inJustice department, then certainly by our Father, Himself.
God speed, Mr. Kelly. Keep your Faith, keep your freedom.

Just make sure he has a jury of his actual peers -- ranchers in that part of Arizona. Not only will they declare him "not guilty" after 30 seconds of deliberation, but they will also award him punitive damages for wasting his time!!!

Biden has ceded the border over to the ruthless cartels leaving American citizens, -especially those living on their own property along America's sovereign border, vulnerable to drugs, crime & death. American citizens are left defenseless as Biden has removed the former national security provided by our Government to protect & defend the USA's borders!!! The USA has been a free country, open to those who respect the legislated Law of this land but now the dems & RINOS ignore the Law and chaos is the result. What country can stand without borders? Who can remain free sans safe & secure borders?

Biden has made the border so dangerous he refuses to go there to observe how he is destroying it and the lives of America citizens living there. ...And has he even followed up on his bussing policy which has transported unvetted illegals throughout the USA? Did those millions simply disappear? Biden stumbles along, oblivious to the tragedies left in his wake.
