Treasure hunter uses his father's hand-drawn
map to find buried silver - 80 years after
his Polish family buried it in remote

A priceless treasure hoard buried by a family fleeing the Second World War has been found 80 years later by the next generation. The Glazewski family buried their silver and fled their estate in eastern Poland in September 1939 after hearing that the Russians were invading. Only Adam, the head of the family, stayed behind to face the Russians, who threw him off his land, and nearly executed him before his staff intervened. Faced with a life under Soviet rule, his four sons never returned to their home near Lviv - formerly part of Poland, today part of Ukraine - and settled around the world.

That find should be equitably divided among the former staff or their descendants to pay them back for generations of systemic racism. It doesn't belong to the family. /s

Fascinating story. If they hadn’t left, either the Russians or the Germans would have killed them. I’ll bet that somewhere in Poland, there’s a museum that would love to exhibit that silver, along with the story of how it was buried and retrieved 80 years later. I visited Poland a few years ago. It’s a beautiful country with wonderful people. They don’t allow Muslims to enter their country. After dealing with the Nazis and the Communists in the same century, they can spot a totalitarian nutcase from a mile away....

Cool. More people trying to mend their lives shattered by Russian invasions, this one long ago. But, that's a recurring pattern in the 1800s, 1900s and now the 2000s. "Russian invasion...."

Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Tuesday on FNC’s “Special Report” that Americans were “moving on” from former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican primary. Sununu said, “The race for president hasn’t really started. No one’s really thinking that way. Remember, we’re just coming out of November of ’22. And, you and I are in this world talking about it all the time, but the average American, they’re dealing with inflation, they’re dealing with high housing prices, record debt at the household level.” He continued, “And look, my message to, about President Trump is we thank you for your service. Great, but we’re moving on.

Ramaswamy, 37, released a three-and-a-half-minute video Tuesday signaling that his campaign will focus on how conservatives have been culturally victimized. 'We're in the middle of a national identity crisis,' Ramaswamy begins in his announcement video. Former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are both set to appear at fundraising events in Palm Beach, Florida, this week for their respective campaigns as the race for the GOP primaries intensifies. MAGA Inc., a political action committee campaigning for a second Trump administration, is hosting an event at Mar-a-Lago, and DeSantis is gathering a group of conservative donors and leaders for a retreat just eight minutes from Trump’s estate the next day, the Wall Street Journal reported. Though the two continue to be neck-and-neck in GOP primary polling, the timing of the two events are not connected,

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Tuesday spoke to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos about the Ohio train derailment and toxic disaster. Buttigieg still hasn’t visited East Palestine. Biden is too busy hanging out with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “About 50 cars, including 10 carrying hazardous materials, derailed in a fiery crash on Feb. 3 in East Palestine, Ohio. Vinyl chloride was later released into the air from five of those cars before crews ignited it to get rid of the highly flammable, toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, creating a dark plume of smoke.”

No wonder the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is so confident they can win a war against the United States. The Biden regime is so clueless they cannot even properly secure sensitive military information. For two full weeks an unsecured Department of Defense (DOD) server was leaking military emails online and no one noticed until Monday. The culprit was a so-called misconfiguration that left the server without a password. The server was loaded with files containing sensitive personnel information from the past several years, including a completed SF-86 questionnaire. A SF-86 personnel questionnaire has bountiful amounts of background information on security clearance holders valuable to enemies of America.

Joe Biden ran on “unity,” which is critical in a multiracial America. He vowed to heal the divisions supposedly sown by Donald Trump. Instead, he is proving to be the most polarizing president in modern memory. Often his racialist rhetoric and condescension have proven demeaning to both blacks and whites. In a volatile multiracial democracy that demands tolerance and restraint, a highly unpopular Biden, for cheap political advantage, continually proves incendiary and reckless.  Last week Joe Biden snarked after watching a White House screening of Till: Lynched for simply being black, nothing more. Axios is reporting that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has granted Fox News’s Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol videotape from Jan. 6, 2021, (aka J6).FACT-O-RAMA! We were told there were 14,000 hours of surveillance video, but now it appears there are roughly 41,000 hours of tape. Tucker has long questioned whether J6 was an actual insurrection. The FBI stated in August 2021 they found little evidence that the crowd tried to topple the United States. A Harvard University survey released in August 2022 said the same thing. Democrats have fought to keep the tapes under wraps. That is understandable, as it’s hard to cry “insurrection” when looking at videos

Once upon a time we mocked the Soviet Union for its gerontocracy. Aged party leaders, bundled up in overcoats and fur hats to the point of near-unrecognizability, would be wheeled out to sit, immobile, as parades passed or party congresses opened. The long-range missiles matter. So do the super-accurate artillery shells, the surface-to-air missiles, and the winter weather gear; the training in the English countryside or the muddy Grafenwöhr maneuver grounds; and the intelligence provided from the eyes in space and the ears on airplanes that circle outside the battlezone. President Biden’s visit to Kyiv matters just as much as any of these. Other heads of government preceded him, earning deserved credit. But it is an altogether different thing when the president of the United States—who is, indeed, the leader of the Free World—shows up. His words mattered.
