The Illinois Department of Human Services is preparing to move 658 recent migrant arrivals into a former Kmart in Chicago for temporary shelter, WTTW News has learned. The 100,000-square-foot store has sat vacant at the corner of 71st Street and Pulaski Road on the city’s Southwest Side since 2016. Sources said the migrants — mostly asylum seekers — will be relocated from the suburbs, where they are currently staying at hotels. According to documents WTTW News obtained, the site was selected because of its nearby resources and because it is in a welcoming neighborhood. But some local officials are not yet ready to roll out the welcome mat.

Why is it Chicago's responsibility to find a place to put these people? They aren't a herd of wild animals. Make them find their own housing, or, better yet, move the 658 new arrivals back across the border and dump them in Mexico or Canada (Canadia to Democrats).

Biden and the Democrats will be spreading the millions of incoming illegal aliens who they are unlawfully allowing to gain illegal entry to the USA around the country and into various places where they will be counted, based upon their presence alone, in the next U.S. Census to the long term political benefit of the leftist and socialist Democrats. By upping those census numbers a yet undetermined number of congressional seats will be redistricted into those Democrat run areas and so-called sanctuary cities, where leftist and socialist Democrat candidates are bound to win those resulting future congressional elections, thus expanding the Democrat congressional delegation causing a resulting Democrat permanent majority to control the House of Representatives. Do the wimpy Republicans even have a clue?

What a great system! Allow crime to get out of control - - which forces businesses to close - - which frees up space for criminals to be housed - - and fed and clothed and tended - - at taxpayers expense. It's a lunatic leftist dream come true!

What could possibly go wrong? A few years ago a liberal landowner in South Africa allowed some rebellious people to live on his land/farm. He wanted to show his kind heart. And then these people wanted to kick the homeowner off his own land. Chicago's idea of a tent city????
