Just 39 percent of Americans adults believe the state of the union is strong before President Joe Biden likely declares it so during Tuesday’s State of the Union address. According to Monmouth polling from Monday, less than four in ten Americans say the state of the union is strong, while fifty-eight percent say it is not strong. Among those who doubt the union’s strength, 32 percent say the union is not too strong and 26 percent deem it not at all strong. Just seven percent claim it is very strong. Thirty-two percent allege it is somewhat strong. The nation has weathered difficult times under Biden’s leadership. More than two million migrants were apprehended at the southern border.

That 39% votes for Biden and the Democrats. That's what being dumb and dishonest gets you. Only need a few more points, and fraud gets them the rest of the way. They don't need charisma in their 'leaders'. No way Biden can be called charismatic. Just buy votes and give preferential treatment in their policies. Just keep people believing our lying media and politicians. That's all it takes. Our government requires an honest intelligent public. We don't have that anymore. We are relying on people being honest for our electoral system to work. Big mistake.

Larry Elder is running for president in 2024 and could announce as early as April, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal. The right-wing political commentator all but legally filed to run for president on Wednesday, telling conservative host Steve Hilton in a podcast recording to air Thursday that he will be entering the primary contest to take on President Donald Trump in the Republican primary. Elder thinks that the biggest domestic issue 'by far' in the U.S. is children being born to parents who are not married. The black conservative radio host appears to want to address some race issues in the U.S. from the conservative perspective.

WASHINGTON — A trio of former bigwigs at Twitter told the House Oversight Committee Wednesday they could not recall major facts about the decision to suppress The Post’s bombshell October 2020 stories on Hunter Biden’s laptop — though one claimed the decision was based in part on the social media giant’s own echo chamber rather than the demands of federal law enforcement. Under questioning led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), former Twitter deputy general counsel James Baker, ex-head of trust and safety Yoel Roth and former policy director Vijaya Gadde took turns deflecting allegations of “collusion” between the FBI and Twitter to censor The Post.

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he didn't believe the House GOP's probe into his son Hunter and brother James' foreign business dealings would have an impact on his presidency.  'The public's not going to pay attention to that. They want these guys to do something,' Biden said. 'It's not going to go very far.' The president sat down for a wide-ranging post-State of the Union interview with PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff, which included the admission that he hadn't made a final decision to run in 2024. 'I haven't made my decision, that's my intention, but I have not made that decision firmly yet,' he said.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed a new rule this week that would crack down on taxing the service industry's tips.  The Service Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (SITCA) proposal would be a voluntary program between the IRS and employers that the IRS says would 'decrease taxpayer and IRS administrative burdens and provide more transparency and certainty to taxpayers.'  The proposal is now open to public comment until May 7.  The program would monitor employer compliance based on actual annual tip revenue and charge tip data from an employer's point-of-sale

The survey showed Trump leading his closest potential challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), by 18 percent, garnering 49 percent support compared to the governor’s 31 percent.  No other potential challenger comes close, as former Vice President Mike Pence falls to third place with just seven percent support. On Wednesday, former top executives at Twitter appeared before the House oversight committee to give testimony regarding the social media giant’s management of information related to the interference of the 2020 election and Joe Biden’s son. The hearing marks the start of the agenda of the newly-Republican controlled House, highlighting their focus on long-standing claims that major tech companies exhibited a bias against conservatism. At one point during the hearing, Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert appeared to catch former Twitter executive Yoel Roth in a lie. The moment came as Boebert was discussing how her Twitter account had previously been suspended.

The numbers are in for Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, and they aren’t good. According to CNN’s post-speech poll, Biden’s divisive, dishonest spectacle scored the lowest ratings of any State of the Union since 1998, with just 34 percent saying they had a “very positive” reaction.(Tweet) The press, including CNN, did their best to spin the numbers in Biden’s favor, choosing to focus on the topline number showing 72 percent had a positive reaction. Context is everything, though, and the context of that number is that it’s actually very low compared to other modern presidents, including Donald Trump. Audiences traditionally have a largely positive reaction

Regardless how complex or critical the issue, I could always count on Rush Limbaugh’s entirely rational and moral analysis, delivered by an apex professional with genuine compassion, even for those with whom he disagreed. He was ensconced behind that golden EIB microphone; a master of ideas and argument. From his lofty height, he engaged with every thorny problem with an equanimity that drew a placid sagacity from an ocean of experience, and confidence. After all, Rush was “documented almost always right 99.7% of the time.” He was a compass that always pointed the precise bearing to truth. He was the constitutionalists’ loadstar.

Somehow, the weirdest thing that happened at the State of the Union was not Joe Biden proclaiming that he’ll veto any legislation that raises the cost of “frisizhnjubs,” a line I’m still trying to figure out. Instead, it involved a pre-speech kiss delivered by Jill Biden to Kamala Harris’ husband, Douglas Emhoff. Honestly, I have no idea what happened here. When I first saw that, I tried to rationalize it. Maybe non-family members kiss on the lips like that routinely and I just missed it all this time. But the more I think about it, the more I don’t think I missed it. Rather, it’s just incredibly strange.
