This coming week a new House select subcommittee will hold its first hearing on the FBI and the possible “weaponization” of government agencies. A variety of such controversies have contributed to plunging public trust in government and the FBI in particular.
The role of the FBI in prior scandals will remain a point of heated debate in Congress. However, members of both parties should be able to agree on the need to investigate one of the most serious allegations: Censorship by surrogate.

"Expose" censorship? To whom? Everything they expose will be downplayed, ignored, and censored.

Right, "investigate" to your heart's desire, but whatta going to do about the agencies' stonewalling. They're experts at that.

The mainstream media, which has given almost no coverage of this FBI abuse, especially their censorship ops at Twitter and other social medias, will now come to the FBI's defense because they are all part of the same DNC biased apparatus.

One would expect the tech weenies to sell to the highest bidder, no crime in going for the big bucks, but our government officials of the DOJ, FBI, and the other corrupt intel agencies need to pay the full penalty for treason, hung by the neck until dead. Oh, and the witch from Chappaqua as well. Hang her last in case the rope breaks.

Imagine Mr. Turley standing in a firing position with a rapid fire "word" rifle. He carefully aims at Big Tech and Big Government. He pulls the trigger and a sly satisfying smile emerges. "Take that you Liberty killing SOBs." He knows nothing will happen. He goes back to his tea and crumpets. "How dare they not listen" he mutters.

FTA - "The “Twitter files” revealed an FBI operation to monitor and censor social media content — an effort so overwhelming and intrusive that Twitter staff at one point complained internally that “they are probing & pushing everywhere.”"
So, what is going to be done about it. Can we expect mass firings to happen at the fbi and/or closure of the agency? Time will tell. With a dim president and a dim-controlled senate (thanks to you, Turtle), I'm not getting my hopes up that a pubbie-controlled House can make enough noise to achieve the desired outcome. Musk, maybe you can?

Even if the House discovers a vast conspiracy to violate the Constitution, does it have any power or even the will to do anything about it?

This could make a difference if our democrat neighbors cared how they win. I think the demonization of the non-left has been so effective that they don't give a rip how they win

I still believe Mr. Musk was "arranged" to pay an exorbitant price per share because the fascist agencies knew the participation was organized by government and the truth about real participants traffic was going to reduce revenue and plummet stock value.

Patriots languish in prison while rapists, arsonists, and murders stroll our streets. Fentanyl pours across our borders, or rather, what used to be our borders. Our society is overwhelmed by government sponsored perversion and ignorance. Government spending, much of it solely devoted to our subjugation, is destroying our future.
We need concrete action to dismantle this institutional subversion. We need this now.
So we elect a Republican majority, overwhelming the massive government, corporate and media apparatus set up to perpetuate their power and block the will of our people.
And what does this new congress do? It holds hearings, tribunals to pin the blame for actions well in the past, now consigned history. Individual members climb onto soap boxes to cry out their indignation and shake their fist at the air. Such gestures will remain invisible and impotent, their five minutes of fame forgotten.
At best a few unlucky scapegoats will be driven into the auditorium to assume the guilt and mollify the countries anger. Meanwhile their bosses remain untouched, planning future treason in the shadow, because they know they'll be back.

Who would have thought - - who could possibly have conceived - - even as recently as 15 years ago - - that the far-left lunatics would become fanatic supporters of the CIA and FBI?
Those crazed lefties hated all government policing and security - - and did their best to destroy them. But now - - the CIA and FBI are their best buds.
This has been an amaizing 180-degree spinaround - - and it's all the result of the communists who control Little 0bie and Despicable Joe. Those evil forces must be crushed - - if we are to survive as a free nation. Someone please - - please wake up the Pubbies - - and tell them that there's a civil war going on - - and we're losing.

not sure of #6.
Are you " shooting the messenger"? Do you expect Mr Turley to do all of the lifting? Would you prefer he eat his crumpets and drink his tea and say nothing?

Do you mean the system we have, or the system Congress is building. Remember, they put REAL cheese in mouse traps, not just tasty looking photos.
