Harris County Texas is huge. If it were a state it would rank 25th in population, just behind Alabama. Almost 5 million people live there.
Nine members of the U.S. House of Representatives hail from or represent the county, as well as 24 state representatives.
At its center is Houston, which is reliably Democrat, but the county as a whole is a swing district these days with both Democrats and Republicans winning elections. In other words, how well the elections are run matters a lot, not just to the citizens of the county itself, but to the overall balance of power in the state and country.
Guess what? The elections were run

It is amazing how election results in dim governed areas must be scrutinized.
IMO even worse when the dims are "POC"
But honesty is a manifestation of white privilege and racist. Call me racist for saying so. I care not.

The key word is 'may'. That means they will talk about it and do nothing.

Harris County is run by Democrats. Just like Maricopa County in AZ, election shenanigans are rampant. Free and fair elections in these two areas are not possible. Both counties are worse than Watergate, not to take any quotes from Bernstein. The premise of the author is that the incompetency of the Republican Party in Harris County is at fault, that the Republicans didn't have their ducks in order. Elections are not the responsibility of political parties but by the government running the elections. In this case, Harris County officials and in AZ, the Maricopa County officials. In both counties the Governments have shortchanged their citizens. So far neither County has been corrected. Gov Abbott is correct, redo the elections in Harris County. AZ with Hobbs in charge is another story.

FTA: "The failure of the Harris County Republican Party to get its ducks in a row is disappointing."
Disappointing? Clueless Pubbies "disappointing"?
No - - cluelessness is to be fully expected from Pubbies. It would be shocking if they weren't clueless. No wonder it's so easy for the commies to steal elections. There isn't anyone who has the smarts - - or the guts - - to stop them.

I am sorry to say, but the 2024 Democrat election fraud will be so egregious that gunfire around the country during and after vote stealings might result. Arizona and now Houston fraud will be the template for other blue states and cities. The judiciary...la la la...'victims have no "sta n n n ding."

Another example of Ronna McDaniels incompetence. As head of the RNC, ensuring fair voting should have been número uno on her list.

FYI. The elections in Harris County are ran by the Democrat Party, the votes are counted by the Democrat Party, the voting districts are drawn by the Democrat Party, all city and county government jobs are held by Democrats. There will never be a fair election when the entire process is controlled by parties to the election. We do not have fair election in the U.S. You decide nothing.

Excellent! If elections are not run properly -- toss out the results, change the methods and the PEOPLE and do it over.

I managed on election day to walk in, vote and go home. No line-ups. Didn't matter much. Thanks to Dem gerrymandering I'm still stuck with Sheila Jackson-Dumb. But I'll vote against her as long as I have the chance.

#8, not to forget Al Green and Lizzie Fletcher, two more reliable Commie-line votes.
A dozen years ago, True the Vote found 19,596 instances of 6 or more voters registered at one address In Queen Sheila's district. Further review of her district found hundreds of the addresses were found to be vacant lots or business addresses. TTV also found people voting in districts they did not live in, driver's licenses not matching the voter registrations, and multiple registrations by the same person. Thousands of mail ballots are routinely submitted from this district. An investigator even found a one bedroom frame house with 12 registered voters, TTV said of the sample they took, there was a 25% error rate. Unacceptable, except of course for a city whose mayors have been Democrats for decades.
Shortly after the investigation results were announced back then, a mysterious fire fried $30 million of voting equipment. Go figure.
That was a dozen years ago. No telling what the numbers are now. Show of hands, anybody here had 6 or more registered voters in their household at any time? Not in any house I have ever lived in.
I truly hope Abbott has the authority to effect another election.

This is not new. Abbott has know about this for ages and hasn't done anything about it -- So don't expect him to change now.
