CDC issues urgent warning over contaminated
eyedrops feared to have killed one patient
and made several others go blind

Eyedrops feared to be contaminated with a bacterial superbug are thought to have killed at least one person and caused blindness in several more. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued an urgent warning over EzriCare Artificial Tears, a popular over-the-counter drug sold across the US. They are believed to be at the center of 50 eye infections across 11 states between last May and this January, including one that was fatal and several more that caused 'permanent blindness'.

This very well could be real and serious (need to see what my wife uses as eyedrops), but CDC really should keep the tale of the little boy who cried "Wolf!" in mind.

The brand in question uses no preservatives so outside contamination might be real culprit here. The story is pretty sketchy but what stories aren’t these days?

I use 3 different prescription eye medications twice a day plus OTC lubricants and steroid drops as needed. Fortunately, I’ve never used this one. If I were to lose my sight, I would not want to go on living. (Retired hand embroidery designer who still stitches every day.)

Odd that the cdc hasnt issued urgent warning over the jab. Nearly 300,000 killed up to the end of 2021. Yet it is still being pushed. Baffling selectivity of consumer risk warnings.

#5 - no mystery at all. The government didn't mandate that everyone use those eye drops and fire those that refused. The CDC will never willingly admit that the jabs weren't/aren't "safe and effective."

But no CDC warning about vaccines that have killed hundreds if not thousands of people. Eye drops get attention but nothing on untested vaccine injury and death? Total BS! Look squirrel!

There are preservatives in this stuff for a reason. I make up a nasal spray to prevent virus infections from a realatively easily available antiviral chemical, and because I don't put in a preservative...I am super careful to boil the water and clean out the sprayer with alcohol for each refill. If you are going to do your own pharmacy type stuff, it's on you to keep up to proper sterile standards. YMMV.

We check the news each day, our hearts filled with one part hope and ten parts fear and trepidation. Typical of a Marxist regime, none of our valued institutions are functioning in a reliable way. Our children are being abused by the very institutions designed to open the wonders of the world to them. Our young men, who should be in the prime of their lives, are dropping dead in the midst of the games they love to play. Our money is no longer worth much, we’re finding it harder and harder to fuel our homes and automobiles, and we’re seeing iconic businesses fold all around us.

Nearly seven years after most media abandoned standards of fairness in a stampede to defeat Donald Trump, it is widely accepted that those outlets can not be trusted to deliver accurate reports. Rather than perform the journalists’ duty of informing the public of news, many of today’s reporters and editors concoct narratives about events that consistently align with the agenda of the Democratic Party. This overt embrace of partisanship is a major factor in two developments roiling the nation. The first is a hardening of polarization that deeply divides voters

Fighter jets shot down the Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic today after Joe Biden vowed to 'take care of it' and the FAA shutdown three airports in the Carolinas. The balloon was seen bursting at 2.38pm and its payload - the metal structure carrying its cameras - appeared to have been separated as it plummeted towards the ocean off Myrtle Beach. The Biden administration confirmed the shoot-down order around 2pm after the President this morning vowed, 'We're gonna take care of it,' as he stepped off Air Force One at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, upstate NY.

As we are law-abiding people, that was out of the ordinary. At my door was the animal control officer. That seemed odd since our dogs stay in the backyard and don’t roam around the neighborhood. The issue that warranted said knock on my door was the fact that I had inadvertently left one of our dogs out a little longer than usual.

The United States could bring down the Chinese surveillance balloon currently flying eastward across the country by shooting it with a laser, which would cause it to gradually descend without inflicting serious damage to civilians on the ground, according to an aerospace specialist. The Defense Department previously ruled out shooting down the balloon, which was first spotted earlier this week in Montana, saying that its size could cause a debris field large enough to harm Americans. But Art Thompson, CEO of California-based company Sage Cheshire Aerospace which provides stratospheric balloon launching and research services, believes that a “semi-controlled descent” could be a solution.

One of the unsavory aspects of our current era is that firing a member of a "protected class" — racial and sexual minorities, plus women of any race — almost inevitably leads to cries of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. When a person is a "twofer" ticking two boxes indicating presumptively oppressed status, you need a bulletproof list of offenses to charge the target with. Don Lemon, the low-rated Black and gay host on CNN, was booted from his prime-time gig to the morning hours and has managed to drive the ratings for CNN This Morning even lower than the cable net previously had scored in those hours.
