Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-FL, introduced the "Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses," or PENCIL Resolution," on Thursday that would bar Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA, from accessing any classified information. PENCIL stands for "The resolution expresses the sense of the U.S. House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should not have access to classified information, should be investigated by the House Ethics Committee, and should have his comments made during any proceeding of Congress regarding Russian Collusion and the Trump campaign be officially struck from the record," Gaetz's office said in a statement.

Love the acronym. What a shame he couldn’t add four more words whose acronym would be NECK

Good way to make sure no one takes your party seriously. McCarthy did an excellent job of explaining why he removed Schiff from the committee, and then this moron pipes up with his junior high antics. Way to help the Dems, loser.

#2, It appears you are unaware of the Rules for Radicals which is a book written by Saul Alinsky and is the democrats’ road map for success. One of its most prolific and effective rules is: “Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” This act by Matt Gaetz is far from juvenile tactics, it’s called “beating them at their own game.” I understand why you are no fan of Donald Trump, however, he understands the game democrats play and like Rep. Gaetz uses their own tactics against them. Republicans have stood around with no strategy and even less imagination and have let democrats ridicule them viciously. This fight will not be won with the old ways. Either Republicans learn that or the party will continue to be punching bags. Politics today is a real blood sport because democrats expect us to take the high road while they pummel us viciously. More often than not, this strategy has been a complete disaster for us. I just cannot see the benefit of being the pearly clutching party while democrats lie, cheat and steal. It’s time we look them in the eye and give it right back to them. They will not walk off the field of battle. They are going to have to be carried off. I don’t mean literally carried off, but they are going to have to understand that we are here to defeat them and their anti-American policies and if ridicule plays a part in their defeat, I am all for it. By the way, if you want to see real losers, look no further than the entrenched Rinos. They are quite efficient at losing. In fact, I believe they prefer it.

Based upon Schiff’s past gross deceptions and dishonesty in Congress during official Intelligence Committee proceedings, aimed at the American people for clear partisan political purposes, you would think that it would be pretty easy to yank Schiff’s security clearances and that a new law specifically targeting him would not be necessary.

It’s always the way with political memoirs that everyone sifts them for the high-grade gossip. So it is with Mike Pompeo’s memoir, “Never Give an Inch” released this week. Media reports have understandably focused on the former CIA director and Secretary of State’s opinions on Donald Trump, John Bolton, Kim Jong-Un and a bunch of other folks. But as is often the case, one of the biggest stories in the book has so far been overlooked. When Pompeo was Secretary of State he took probably the most hawkish view any American official has yet taken towards the Communist Party of China. In a speech in October 2019, he told an audience

As a white child, I not only grew up in abject poverty and found myself homeless often, but also living in majority black projects from time to time as my family was evicted from 34 homes by the time I was 17 years of age. With some of those moves, I was either the only white child in my class or one of the few. During those years, single black moms working two or three jobs to support their children while sacrificing their own happiness not only became my heroes, but enduring role models. Black lives do matter; should matter; and need to be protected. And yet, many on the left

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) sent a complaint to the OCE's chief counsel that asked for an immediate probe into whether Schiff "abused official resources for political purposes" by using the video. Schiff announced Thursday that he's running for the Senate in 2024, via a video that was shared on his Twitter account. That video includes footage of Schiff speaking on the Senate floor during impeachment proceedings against former President Donald Trump. "This is a clear violation of House ethics rules and federal law," said Kendra Arnold, executive director of FACT. "Rep. Schiff has been in Congress for over two decades and undoubtedly knows that official government resources

Back in 2016, with a presidential election underway, I made the case that Senate Republicans should force Democrats to live under their own power-hungry rules. They should do so, I said, by applying the Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer standards to the newly-created Supreme Court vacancy, following the death of the late great Justice Antonin Scalia. Then-Majority Leader Mitch McConnell did precisely that, holding the seat open until after the election, paving the way for President Trump's trio of superb SCOTUS nominations. The Democrats got red in the face and stomped their feet, but after decades of hyper-partisan, unilateral escalations in the judicial confirmation wars,

The Biden administration is proposing a change to the way it collects data on federal workers that would allow employees to identify themselves as of Middle Eastern or North African descent, instead of identifying themselves as "White." The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on Thursday announced a series of proposed changes to the race/ethnicity data that it has kept since 1977. The OMB said changes are warranted because people’s preferences relating to how they identify themselves have changed. The OMB said in its proposal that there have been "large societal, political, economic, and demographic shifts in the United States throughout this period," citing the following examples: increasing

Former President Donald Trump for now certainly seems to have had more documents labeled "classified" at Mar-a-Lago in Florida than did President Joe Biden at his various homes in Delaware. Yet otherwise, the comparisons between the two cases, contrary to popular punditry, hardly favor Biden. First, a stranger would face a far greater challenge entering a post-presidential Mar-a-Lago than a pre-presidential Biden home, office, or garage -- or who knows where? Secret service agents and private security were stationed at Mar-a-Lago. Prior to the 2020 presidential election they were not at citizen Biden's various troves for most of 2017-2020, much less prior to 2009.

“Revenge of the Princes” is the hot new show drawing wide audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Combining the classic Shakespearean themes of regicide and patricide with our contemporary idolatry of narcissism and victimhood, “Revenge” is not unfolding on Broadway or the West End; a real-life adaptation is being livestreamed into our homes as two separate but entwined psychodramas. While the tickets are free, the cost may be more than anyone can imagine. The English version stars a man named Harry; the American edition, a man named Hunter.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think Biden actually believes we are still in a state of emergency. He admitted as much in September when he declared the pandemic was “over.” Yet the president and his administration have enjoyed the extra powers that have accompanied the national emergency declaration. She received 111 votes, while Dhillon received 51 and Lindell received four. Former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), who did not ultimately make a run for RNC chair, also received one vote.

As we slide further down the slope into multinational technocracy, the rhetoric will gradually shift in this direction. The “green” revolution and veganism and other energy and food restriction schemes began, if you can recall, with promises of economic expansion

The Biden administration is facing some scrutiny over a proposal to change the way it racially/ethnically classifies federal employees. At the moment, anyone of Middle Eastern or North African descent only has the option of identifying/being classified as “white.” Were the administration’s proposal to be approved, these individuals would instead have the option of identifying as Middle Eastern or North African. The proposal would accomplish this by rewriting the Office of Management and Budget 1997 Statistical Policy Directive No. 15: Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity (SPD 15).
