College dorm life is interesting — it introduces burgeoning adults to people of all types. But some students would prefer not to be among those who are different. And at a school on the East Coast, some won’t have to be. At New York’s Ithaca College, a specialized housing provision has been made. Established in 1892, the institution is keeping up with the times. Hence, its “Open Pages” residential community. On Tuesday evening, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy went nuclear on reporters over a question of whether or not Adam Schiff will be allowed to serve on Intel committees in the future.
“What did Adam Schiff do as the chairman of the Intel committee? What Adam Schiff did is use his power at the chairman and lied to the American public,” McCarthy began. “When Devon Nunes put out a memo, he [Schiff] said it was false. Lawyers for former Vice President Mike Pence said a "small number" of classified documents were found at his home in Indiana last week.
Pence's lawyers notified the National Archives and Records Administration of the discovery on Wednesday, according to a letter obtained by CNBC. The classified documents were first discovered on Jan. 16 after Pence had outside counsel "with experience in handling classified documents" search his own home and records "out of an abundance of caution" following the news that classified documents were found at President Joe Biden's home and office.

People in an Atlanta neighborhood are concerned about a possible long-term closure of their Walmart after a fire closed the store a month ago. It’s the location on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in northwest Atlanta. Channel 2 Action News spoke with those in the community about the importance of the store. “Losing this store will be a huge loss to the community,” Atlanta City Councilman Byron Amos said. The Westside United Coalition and Vine City Civic Association held a community candlelight vigil on Sunday night on the closure of the Vine City Walmart. The store opened in January 2013.

The Trans Cultural Mindfulness Alliance (TCMA) is targeting Franklin’s 1968 hit “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” which they say “perpetuates multiple harmful anti-trans stereotypes.”
