College dorm life is interesting — it introduces burgeoning adults to people of all types. But some students would prefer not to be among those who are different. And at a school on the East Coast, some won’t have to be. At New York’s Ithaca College, a specialized housing provision has been made. Established in 1892, the institution is keeping up with the times. Hence, its “Open Pages” residential community. If you’re something other than “cisgender,” you’ll be right at home at the 20-bed facility. From Ithaca.edu: Open Pages is a transgender and nonbinary RLC (Residence Learning Community). The goal of Open Pages is to provide

Kowtowing to delusional, play make-believe children, who refuse to grow up instead playing "dress-up" to try and convince themselves they're something they're really not. The American Psychiatric Association did a grave disservice to mankind when in 1973 they removed "homosexuality" from their "list of mental illnesses." Redefine all you want, bur our Creator has not changed His opinion of what homosexuality represents, which is arrogant rebellion against His choice of sex and the manner in which it should be expressed, namely by a man and a woman in marriage.

Remember when young kids wanted to be a fireman or nurse or policeman when they grew up? Now their life goals and aspirations are whether to be a boy or a girl when they grow up. The communists have destroyed the aspirations of kids to accomplish great things for themselves and others and convinced them that finding themselves is the most important thing in life.

Great idea! Boil down self-absorbed and insecure young people until you’ve condensed the lot into the most psychologically damaged among them. Next, house depressed, self-hating masochists in with borderline personalities, add the extremely unattractive and bitter and then sprinkle in some criminals looking for opportunities. I think it is very fair to predict that this formula will become a witch’s brew of earthly torment and debasement for the dorm residents and others. Academic achievement will be nil and the parents will have paid to indulge their children only for purposes of cruelty and nihilism. Ithaca is not alone in this exploration into the depths of human depravation. For higher learning there are colleges and there are technical institutes. Take your pick.

What will these student do when they are forced out of their "safe space", free from the evils of cis-gender individuals capable of functioning normally in the world? The coddling and pandering to these students reminds me of back in the day when all of the special needs students were put in "special education" classes and segregated from everyone else. Over time, they found out that the segregated students would do better if mixed with the normal students. Maybe over time, the LGBTQ crowd will realize, they need to learn to live in the real world. What's next, a special dorm and cafeterias for the Furries where everyone gets to live in kennels and live like animals?

A Republican congresswoman blasted House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's threats to boot three outspoken Democrats off committees on Tuesday. Indiana Rep. Victoria Spartz dismissed the GOP leader's efforts as 'bread and circuses' and called on him to 'start governing for a change' in the searing statement.  McCarthy has vowed to remove Democrat Reps. Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff of California from the House select committee on Intelligence, while threatening to remove progressive Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar off the Foreign Affairs Committee. It's payback for Democrats voting to strip hard-right GOP Reps. Paul Gosar of Arizona and Marjorie Taylor Greene of George of their committee assignments in the last Congress.

In March 2022, hundreds of students at Yale Law School disrupted a panel with Kristen Waggoner, a conservative lawyer who has argued religious liberty cases before the Supreme Court, arguing that her presence was a "slap in the face" to "queer students." Yale's response to the incident left the school with egg on its face: Though the protest clearly violated Yale's free speech policies, which do not allow protesters to disrupt speakers, not a single student was disciplined. Now Waggoner is returning to Yale Law for another talk. And this time, administrators aren't leaving anything to chance, banning press and anyone without a Yale Law School ID, including undergraduate students,

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced legislation Monday to ban “205 military-style assault weapons by name” and prohibit transfer of “high capacity” magazines. Feinstein cited the January 21, 2023, Monterey Park shooting as the impetus for the reintroduction of the “assault weapons” ban. She said, “We were tragically reminded this weekend of the deadly nature of assault weapons when a shooter used one to kill 11 people and injure 9 more at a Lunar New Year celebration in California.” However, Feinstein’s proposed ban would not have prevented the suspected gunman from possessing the gun used in the attack.

In a note to clients earlier this month, Goldman Sachs forecasted that four American cities in particular should gear up for a seismic decline compared to that of the 2008 housing crash. San Jose, California; Austin, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Diego, California will likely see boom and bust declines of more than 25%. Such declines would rival those seen around 15 years ago during the Great Recession.
