Democrats Once Again Resist A Supreme
Court Demand That They Respect Our Civil Rights

Original Article

Back in the day, Democrats reacted to the Supreme Court’s Brown v. Board of Education decision requiring that they respect all Americans’ civil liberties with fury and a petulant campaign of massive resistance. What is old is new again – the Democrat Party is back in form, furious that SCOTUS will not let them steal our rights. This time it is gun rights. The Bruen decision made it clear that blue states cannot deny your right to keep and bear arms on a whim. And the libs have gone into overdrive to undermine it.

Comments:

An armed society is a polite society. It is also a society of citizens, not serfs. It is a HUGE difference and one worth fighting for.

The Democrat-Communist party is relentless in seeking an end to our constitutional rights. In fact, they would like to shelve the constitution completely and replace it with something more in keeping with a system of politburos and commissars. Our Declaration of Independence would become their New Communist Manifesto with attendant food shortages, government stores for the elites, and gulags for complainers.

OP, correct. Democrats are desperate to take our guns because they know when that happens they will have all the power they need to force us to submit to whatever tyranny they are pushing down our throats. If you believe all the gun violence in democrat run cities happens organically and specifically without police intervention, you have not been paying attention. Democrat cities are doing nothing to stop it because the carnage can be used to vilify guns. They want more violence because they can rail on guns without doing anything to stop it. Democrats are actually using this senseless violence as a means to an end. As much as we find it difficult to believe that any decent human being could be so indifferent to the suffering of others, democrats are using these victims as political pawns to achieve their goals. They will sacrifice anyone and anything to usher in their rank political philosophy. We have seen their kind before and it will take the same solution to stop this present evil. To believe they will quietly retreat into the political background is foolish. They will have to be made to stop. With the justice system broken, I do not see how that is going to be accomplished peacefully. Going down that road will be the end for the Republic. We are in a world of hurt.

If the communist leftist Bolsheviks succeed in taking our guns next, they'll come for our gas stoves. The left is never satisfied. Old fraud Joe Biden sure enjoys his AR-15 and F-15 stand up joke but, in a way, he knows he has a general commander that would carry out orders to kill the American public who resist.

Excellent essay, exactly correct in every point. I especially liked: "Remember that most of these fights are going on in a very few states. Most states already had “shall issue” concealed carry laws, and now 25 – fully half the states – have some form of constitutional carry. That means the Constitution is your permit. This should be across all states, and it will be someday." I have said some variant of this here, many times. And it is true. And his closing is something to keep in mind as this frustrating, irritating fight continues in the courts. "Our enemies will cry and scream, resist and fight, but we will march through the courts and beat them into submission. They failed to deny black Americans their rights yesterday, and they will fail to deny all Americans their Second Amendment rights today." I have been fighting this fight since 1967 when, as a teen, I wrote my first Letter to the Editors for the newspaper in Norfolk, Virginia decrying the stupid gun control laws then being proposed, including a ban on all handguns. In the 1990s as communications director for a statewide gun rights group, I wrote and published a newsletter for the state of Kansas with over 7,000 copies delivered every month on gun rights, and I like to think that it may have helped get the multiple good gun rights laws that we got here in the state during that time. Today, there are NO state restrictions on gun ownership or carrying other than limits on some few locations, such as police stations and court houses. The state legislature and all public buildings are OK for concealed carry, and no state permit is required for any non-felon 21 or over. We ARE winning. A few extremist states still resist, but they WILL lose in courts. The Bruen case made it abundantly clear that they CANNOT arbitrarily block a constitutional right to carry arms for self protection outside of the home. It is unconstitutional, and their new laws will be struck down. But it takes time to work through the courts.

This real-life Korean War “Top Gun” kept his war story secret for 50 years. In 1952, then-U.S. Navy pilot Royce Williams engaged in possibly the longest solo aerial dogfight against four Soviet jets, shooting down the enemy planes in less than 30 minutes, KUSI reported. Williams, 97, who retired in 1975, on Friday received the Navy Cross, the service’s second-highest award for military honor. The award came after decades of Williams abiding by a promise to keep his mouth shut—even among friends and family—about this brief yet striking moment of aerial combat, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported in 2022.

Effingham County Judge Joshua Morrison issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) Friday, stopping, for now, the implementation of the Illinois ban on commonly owned semiautomatic rifles. Breitbart News reported that Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) signed the ban on January 10, 2023. The new law allows those who already own the banned firearms to retain them, but requires that the owners register the guns with the Illinois State Police. Pritzker’s office released a statement upon his signing of the bill. It said, in part, “The new law also requires existing owners of semi-automatic rifles to register their ownership, ensuring that law enforcement knows the location of these weapons of war

From 1989 to 2019, Chicago knew only two mayors — Richard M. Daley and Rahm Emanuel. Now it appears that after one term, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is going to be kicked to the curb — a fate she earned with graceless incompetence and dimwitted management of a city that’s out of control. The latest poll on the crowded Democratic field to challenge Lightfoot is significant. The two most radical candidates — Lightfoot and Rep. Jesus “Chuy” Garcia — are trailing the far less crazy Paul Vallas by a heft margin. Vallas leads the nine-candidate field with 26% followed by Garcia with 19%.

A conference hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) is indeed an appropriate venue for Blair’s most inappropriate demand, since WEF previously released its plan for a digital ID required to do or buy anything. “You need to know who’s been vaccinated and who hasn’t been,” Blair exclaimed. “You’ve got to have the proper digital infrastructure.” WEF’s digital ID would essentially be a social credit score, as the ID would be required to access social media and government benefits, vote, open bank accounts, book travel, shop, access healthcare and insurance, own electronic devices,

When did Moderna start developing its COVID-19 vaccine? Moderna’s CEO Stephane Bancel already made headlines at World Economic Forum’s (WEF) elitist Davos 2023 conference by saying he wants an mRNA vaccine factory on every continent and by confirming his negotiations with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to bring Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines to China. But there’s more: Bancel admitted on CNBC at Davos that Moderna was already working on a COVID-19 vaccine in January 2020 before the virus had reached most countries and before it even had a specific name. Bancel went on CNBC at Davos to discuss a new Moderna RSV vaccine. But something far more interesting slipped out.

However, an Antifa group has camped out in the wooded area, making it difficult for the city to clear the land and make progress on the facility. So Joe Biden is finally, officially in trouble for something. While many in the media are eager to point out that Biden’s classified document scandal isn’t as bad in some ways as Trump’s classified document scandal, some realists have admitted that they’re similar enough that there’s probably not a lot to be gained here. And one reason that’s true is that while Biden’s people did quickly call the National Archives to, in effect, turn themselves in once the documents were found, they sat on the findings as far as the public was concerned.
