Is Justice Sonia Sotomayor about to be
pushed off the Supreme Court?

Original Article

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is recognized for three things: (1) She was the first Hispanic female justice on the Court; (2) She’s a leftist’s leftist; and (3) she is not wise but is, in my humble opinion, almost staggeringly ignorant and biased. All those factors benefit Democrats, but now they’re getting worried, not because of her manifest legal and intellectual deficits but because there’s a possibility that they will not hold the White House and Senate after the 2024 election.

FTA: ~~ "Sadly, none of the above examples of foolishness, ignorance, or real depravity explain why the leftists want Sotomayor off the court. According to Politico, their real concern is that, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, if she doesn’t retire during a Democrat presidency, she may die during a Republican presidency. The worry is not unfounded, given that Sotomayor is 68 and has Type 1 diabetes."~~

OK. Read the article. This isn’t Widburg’s idea. It is coming from Leftist sources who know her health isn’t great and want her to retire during a Dem presidency. Think Ginsburg. Get it?

Like Ruth, they will have to carry her out. Preferably during a Republican administration. When they do carry her out, Roberts can blame the leak on her.

We will know if there was any truth to these rumors if the results of the "investigation" into the identity of the leaker implicate her as either the source or the Justice whose clerk was the culprit. That will provide the necessary cover to outweigh the "racist" appearance of seeking her retirement.

Andrea missed the primary qualification for Sotomayor’s academic successes and for why it will be difficult to force her off the court. She’s a lesbian, and these days that trumps ethnic background and sex.

“Type one diabetes” means insulin dependent, in contrast to “type 2” which usually means overweight, sometimes treated with insulin and/or an oral hypoglycemic. Usually, a reduction in calories and weight would solve the problem, or control the disease. Type one diabetics would die without insulin. Most “type 2” diabetics would mostly do fine, if they would manage their calories. They usually produce plenty of insulin on their own. I suspect that the Justice is “type 2”, or non-insulin dependent. Of course, this is speculation on my part.

FTA: If you look at Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, who has no idea what a woman is but feels that “minor attracted persons” are misunderstood, you realize that, while Sotomayor is a dim, leftist bulb, whoever comes along after her during a Democrat administration will be worse. Yup

The internet posters are making hay of the news that Joe Biden had classified documents, obtained when he was vice president and some labeled top secret, stored insecurely in his office at the Penn Center at the University of Pennsylvania (funded by the Chinese government), in his home in Delaware, and in his garage at the home where Hunter had resided for some time. I don’t know which post is my favorite but this one by David Burge (Iowahawk) certainly makes my list: “Just got a smokin' deal on a hot rod project from Craigslist, plus it had some free nuclear codes in the glove box.”

Who knew that we'd be talking about President Biden's Corvette and his troves of secret documents five months after the FBI visited President Trump's home? Life does have a way of throwing you a curve ball from time to time. Did someone say what goes around comes around? (Snip) The Biden story is now in the hands of a special counsel. Why? Because the Biden administration overreacted last summer and sent the FBI to pick up documents. The “hysterically obsessed with Trump Democrats” now have a document crisis that has nothing to do with the Orange Man.

The reader cannot be faulted for asking, “Who is Thomas Lane?” For the record, Lane, who is white, is the most anonymous of the four lambs sacrificed to appease the bloodlust of the mobs incited by a video snippet of George Floyd’s last minutes on earth. On a day like today, it would seem a fitting time to heed the words of another man who was unfairly imprisoned. In his justly famed letter from the Birmingham jail, it was Martin Luther King, Jr. who reminded us, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Following yet another failure of government control of transportation -- the FAA system debacle -- Pete Buttigieg has been soundly thrashed again for his incompetence. The FAA failure is only one of many fiascos over the past year laid at the feet of the erstwhile secretary of Transportation. Recall when he and his “husband” were on paternity leave for nearly two months while the maritime shipping supply chain crisis was going on last fall. Next, he was AWOL during the railroad strike negotiations and really played no role in brokering a deal. As a matter of fact, he was on vacation in Portugal at the time.

Ordinary people have extraordinary power. Don't believe me? Watch what happens if tens of millions ever decide to close their bank accounts all at once. Or critical sectors of the workforce decide to stay home for weeks. Or a sizable percentage of the population refuses to obey arbitrary and capricious government orders. When citizens become fed up enough to take matters into their own hands, those with government-bestowed titles learn quickly how little power those vaunted titles actually have. If you were to ask a collection of random people what governments do, you would hear a multitude of answers: they make and enforce laws

The US Supreme Court is absolutely frightened to take up strong cases that challenge corrupt elections or corrupt practices.
