CNN is reporting that the suspect in the Idaho quadruple homicide, Bryan Kohberger, was pounced on by police after unknown DNA at the scene of the crimes was matched to one of his relatives on a site popular with the public for tracing ancestry. CNN did not name its source for this information and is the only news outlet reporting this development. Moscow police have warned against taking information from any source other than official channels due to the massive amounts of misinformation that have been circulating since the murders happened. If, however, CNN’s source is correct, it could explain why the FBI was tailing Kohberger for four days before an

I’m sure the police were pursuing other avenues but… I watch ‘The First 48’ lol and one of the first things they do, in different cities, is check for security footage from homes and businesses near the crime scene. A little surprised this clerk did it before they got around to it. DNA, though — the ultimate eyewitness. Amazing.

For someone who studied criminology, he should have expected to be traced by DNA and anything the Ring cameras pick up. Now he needs to be put out of his misery.

I would have a hard time stabbing ONE person never mind FOUR people to actually KILL them. In the dark. Outnumbered. I might slash at them but to actually KILL them requires intense knowledge of how to do it. My hunch is he had a helper.

A yet big unanswered question relates to suspected perpetrator’s motive in selecting that particular house occupied by six college students to carry out his dirty deeds. I would venture that there is a good chance that he was familiar with the second and third floor of the house where the murders took place because he had been in there previously, maybe brought in by one of the young women or even the lone young man, all of who were murdered. They say that the suspected perpetrator is a big time bully; and as such might be someone that would take being shunned after a possible one night stand in a very abnormal way. Who knows, but maybe we will find out once the probable cause affidavit becomes public in court.

Ever wonder why these "businesses" offer these incredible "sales" on DNA testing? The government wants to have your DNA, and crime solving is only part of the reason. The CEO of 23 and me happens to be the sister of the CEO of YouTube. Did you think Zuckerberg and others just made it to be millionaires in tech without any government assistance? God works in mysterious ways. If guilty, he should get a swift death sentence with no appeals. I personally would not voluntarily provide DNA, unless required by law enforcement. There is a lot of manipulation out there. Our justice system is not entirely trustworthy.

When the norms are falling apart, the future lies with the extremes. To know what’s going to be normalized, look to what words, ideas and memes are being spread through the fringes. It seems inconceivable pedophilia could be normalized, but show Admiral Rachel Levine to anyone in 1992 or even 2002 and gauge their reaction. For that matter even our 2012 selves would think it was an SNL skit. So take this seriously because pedophilia is being normalized using the same infrastructure of nonprofits, “experts” and misleading claims that slice the onion by starting small and claiming to want small concessions. Police Scotland has used the term “minor-attracted people” to describe paedophiles

Meanwhile, people who never told anyone to storm the Capitol have languished in prison without trial for nearly two years now, in shocking conditions. All this has given rise to the widespread and lingering suspicion that Ray Epps is a fed,

You probably don’t need me or anyone else to tell you that 2022 was a brutal year for your stock portfolio. If you were planning to retire in 2023, you may want to put it off, as it may be a while before your retirement fund recovers. It turns out that 2022 was the worst year for the stock market since 2008. You remember the financial collapse in 2008, right? In 2022, the S&P 500 lost 19.44%, the DOW lost 8.78%, and the NASDAQ lost 33.10%. Let’s go Brandon! Don’t count on seeing electric garbage trucks plowing snow from city streets any time soon. The city Department of Sanitation's goals to become carbon neutral are clashing with the limits of electric-powered vehicles. The department aims to switch all 6,000 vehicles in its fleet from gas to electric as part of the state’s goal to reduce emissions by 2040. But city officials say they haven’t found electric garbage trucks that are powerful enough to plow snow. The department has ordered seven electric rear loader garbage trucks, custom-made by Mack and costing more than $523,000 each, with delivery slated for the spring. Used for curbside trash collection, the department’s current rear loader

Southwest Airlines has been struggling with a major performance fail since before the Christmas weekend, and Democrat officials are doing what they do best: posturing, sniping, and wasting executives’ and labor leaders’ time when they really need to be focused on operations. A massive winter storm swept across the country just ahead of the holiday, tangling travel plans and canceling flights. Southwest accounted for more domestic cancellations than all other airlines combined. Besides the challenging weather conditions, Southwest was already grappling with outdated scheduling software, “tripledemic”-caused staffing shortages, federally mandated work limits on an already reduced workforce, and a challenging schedule of short flights with fast turnarounds. As a consequence, thousands of

The dust of the 2022 midterm contests has barely settled and Democrats — invigorated by the Red Wave that evaporated under extended lax voting policies — are out to make sweeping changes to our nation’s election laws once again. Think back to 2020, when Democratic governors and unsuspecting Republican lawmakers made unprecedented changes to state election policies in the name of Covid that included mandating universal mail-in balloting and a month of early voting. Some states have kept these changes permanently. But Democrats are not satisfied, and why should they be? With their gubernatorial power retained (they kept all but one of the governor’s offices) and newfound control of

German researchers who purchased biometric capture devices on eBay found sensitive US military data stored on their memory cards, The New York Times has reported. That included fingerprints, iris scans, photographs, names and descriptions of the individuals, mostly from Iraq and Afghanistan. Many worked with the US army and could be targeted if the devices fell into the wrong hands, according to the report. They cost under $200. Where did it come from before eBay? That’s a good question. And officially there’s no answer. But one seems to have come most recently from Afghanistan. Metadata
