There has perhaps never been a dumber national obsession than the one that has existed over Donald Trump’s tax returns. Despite the IRS having had all of them over the decades, the press and its Democrat allies have long convinced themselves that Trump was illegally colluding with foreign nations and cheating on his taxes. They continued to hold that belief despite multiple audits of the former president over the years. Apparently, we were all supposed to believe that the IRS (the same IRS that targeted conservatives under Barack Obama) was actually a right-wing front group
OK---- let's see the Biden, Clinton, and Pelosi tax returns then. Throw in just for fun the returns of the entire Congressional Black Caucus.

As the esteemed jurist Learned Hand once wrote:
"“Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands.”

When will the media report that Biden evaded $500,000 in payroll taxes on his 2017 return? I found out about this not from the New York Times or even Fox News but from an unpublished essay by someone I knew. It was legal, yes. But isn't Biden among those who say the rich don't pay their fair share? He is the poster boy for that, apparently.

Bottom line is: Trump did nothing illegal, paid little in taxes one year compared to others due to less income (like everyone else), and utilized the US tax code to avoid paying one penny more than he needed to pay. The millions in taxes that Trump did pay over the years is totally ignored by the Democrats. What Trump paid or did not pay in taxes makes no difference in anyone's life other than those who allow themselves to become obsessed with envy and hate for him. That would be Democrats and liberals bent on destroying Trump.

To think that Liz Cheney sold out for this? She committed political suicide simply because of the hate she had for Donald Trump. As a side, maybe we can now see her, her dad's tax returns for the past 10 years or so ... even the returns during the Bush's Middle East war years?

Only person who pays extra(so he reports) is Sean hannity. To keep the tax man at bay. Since PDT has been aduited by doj 3 times, congress 2 times and state of New York 3 times I didn't expect much from this.

Impossible to make any legal hay with this revelation, but it is simple to destroy someone politically, and that was always the point.

My impeccable sources tell me - - that on his 2003 tax return - - President Trump left out the "J" when he signed his name!
That was an unprecedented attempt to deceive the American public. He must never be allowed to run for public office again!

For his entire adult life, Donald Trump had the finest accountants and tax attorneys in New York. Evidently, they always did a good job.
What dis these morons think they were going to find?

They don’t remark that the reason that Trump had no income during a portion of his years in the White House is because he donated his entire Presidential salary to charity.

It sounds great, but you'll never get to see the returns from ANY person in Congress. They've either enriched themselves or they are more loyal to each other than to their employers (WTP), or both.

Trump did NOT donate his entire salary to Charity...he "donated it" to specific govt programs that aid people, or maintain cemeteries, statues, provide scholarships to handicapped people, military families, cops...firefighters. The question becomes did he do so pretax or after? Cheney and others that did the same thing did it in various ways, some paid the taxes 1st then donated the rest, some donated it all and paid the taxes out of pocket. Keep in mind all of Trumps businesses are real estate, entertainment, resort, hotel based...ALL of which were impacted by Covid shutdowns, many of which were in total shutdown Dem Cities, and at the same time Dems were supporting boycotts and demonstrations at ALL of his businesses. Including the DC Postoffice hotel/convention complex which Trump only restored/managed...it is OWNED by the Govt still, and both the fed govt and DC local govts make MORE from the facility than Trump ever has or ever will.Their boycotts of it, and rules that no govt personnel could stay there or use it's facilities cost THEM(and the taxpayers) money. While Biden, Schumer, Pelosi and many, many others get/got RICH as "Public servants" it cost Trump an actual fortune to serve.

So, President Trump. who ACCEPTED NO PAY AS PRESIDENT, but donated his total pay to veteran groups, wounded warriors, and other charitable groups, PAID NO INCOME TAX ON HIS DONATED EARNINGS?
So What? Biden hasn't declined his presidential salary, even though he should, considering yje total lack of value he has brought to the White House. Actually, Brandon should be repaying the American Taxpayer for the money he just urinated away.

"This kind of intrusion can’t go unanswered. Democrats broke the system, and now they should be targeted by it."
Not going to happen, either because Republicans are whimps or because they are in collusion with the Democrats. ( See: McConnell)

This action was unforgivable and the president, congress and supreme court that let it happen are enemies of all US citizens. When the war starts, they will attempt to blame right wing extremists. They will be wrong - again. They will have brought it upon themselves. Don't even think that the next few elections will fix anything, we are at war now.

Did the Democrats lie to the courts about their need for Trump's tax records? They claimed oversight, to study how presidents file their taxes. They just got these rax records. By Congressional standards their :study" was completed in record time. If they actually did what they said, why not release Obama, Biden, Clinton, and Bushes tax returns at the same time? Democrats planned along to get and release Trump's tax returns.

Does anyone remember the dead Harry Reid claiming presidential candidate Mitt Romney didn't pay his taxes? It was engrained in every financially illiterate and radical fascist Democrat voters head. As much as I despise Mittens he came out with returns but the propagandists had done the damage. After the election dead Harry was asked about it and his response was; it worked didn't it. He is looking up wishing it was cooler and smiling.

You beat me to it #11. President Trump has been paying taxes for the whole time he has been president if you count that he has donated his salary of $400,000. Has any other president done that in memory? Bush the Senior? George W.? Clinton? Obama? No, no, no and no! President Trump has a generous giving heart and that is one area of his life that is untouchable. God bless him! p.s. there are stories out there where PDJT has given money anonymously to unknown citizens without fanfare.

President Trump should start a Legal Offense Fund. I have contributed to America First Legal but do not think that that goes to defend our champion. We are all Trump and the Globalists coming for US.

Repeal the Income Tax Amendment and disband the IRS. The Income Tax transformed the US into a nation of envious busybodies and is used by the political class for wealth transfer and for cultivating parasitic behavior. It is an abomination.
