The vast majority of Americans support criminal prosecution for Twitter employees who worked with the U.S. government to suppress tweets in a possible violation of the First Amendment, a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll found. (snip) Among respondents, 74% believed the Twitter employees who worked with the FBI to censor users should be criminally prosecuted, and only 26% thought they shouldn’t, according to the poll.

Much of the American Church has fallen to apostasy and anti-Christian wokeness, in a reckless abandon that forsakes the core tenets of our faith.
Some churches have even welcomed hypersexualized drag performances into their places of worship, while others have placed racial makeup ahead of pure and genuine faith. When it comes to other “woke” causes, many (of) our leaders have bent the knee to corporatism and other “promised” worldly possessions, which are in direct violation of the Scriptures. This apostasy has been incredibly difficult for me to witness

Joe Biden’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that over a million jobs were created in the second quarter, a heartening statistic that no doubt helped the Democrats in November. But now, the Philadelphia Federal Reserve says that those million jobs were almost entirely fictitious:
The Biden administration vastly overstated its estimate that employers created more than 1 million jobs in the second quarter of this year, claiming historic job growth when in fact hiring had stalled, according to a new estimate.
Job growth was “essentially flat” in the second quarter with only 10,500 jobs added, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said.

Escapism is the point for many moviegoers, especially for sci-fi and fantasy fans, but one film critic was unable to check her woke at the door before reviewing the new “Avatar” and backlash from her embarrassing hot take led her to privatize her account.
(snip) “At some point we gotta talk about the cultural appropriation of Avatar and white actors are cos playing as [people of color],” she posted to Twitter. “It’s just a mess and so not necessary & no amount of visual effects/CGI is gonna erase that. Bad Lace fronts/ Dry synthetic braids. Jesus fix it.”

I have been watching the TV series The Chosen, and it’s a remarkable experience to see such a depiction of Jesus’ life through the eyes of the people who knew Him. (snip) Jesus loved children so much that I felt genuine anguish upon learning the Vatican has defrocked a priest for speaking up in defense of the unborn children of the world— (snip) Frank Pavone has been made into a layperson. He is the leader of an anti-abortion group, Priests for Life, and the Vatican issued a snarky statement

In an extraordinary intrusion on congressional oversight, the Justice Department used grand jury subpoenas to secretly obtain the personal email and phone data of at least two top House Intelligence Committee investigators back in November 2017 just as they and their boss, then-Chairman Devin Nunes, were assembling bombshell evidence of FBI abuses in the Russia collusion probe, Just the News has learned. (snip) The DOJ subpoenas came to light in the last few days when the former committee staffers were informed by Google that their records had been taken, consistent with the Big Tech company's policy of alerting customers five years after law enforcement takes such actions.

San Bernardino County residents voted for officials to study the possibility of seceding from California as more grow increasingly tired of the state’s far-left policies.
The county approved the advisory ballot proposal, which was voted upon in November, earlier this week, the Associated Press (AP) reported. San Bernardino’s Board of Supervisors’ next step is likely to form a committee that will study if state and federal public funds were fairly distributed with local governments within the county.

Recently disclosed internal communications between top election officials in Arizona's Maricopa County in the immediate aftermath of Election Day reveal that they struggled to reconcile a discrepancy of almost 16,000 in outstanding ballot totals.
The governor's race in Arizona was decided by a margin of just over 17,000 votes.
Maricopa County was plagued by numerous issues with ballot machines at many of its vote centers on Election Day, resulting in delays and long lines.
Prior to a Maricopa County press conference with Board of Supervisors Chair Bill Gates and Recorder Stephen Richer on Nov. 10, Richer sent an email to Elections Director Scott Jarrett, Gates and others about a significant discrepancy

Earlier today, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell discussed the greatest problem for the Republican Party as it exists with voters. Allowing people to vote is not in the best interests of the Republican Party. If the politicians could just devise a government system that didn’t need voters to support it, things would be much better.
As noted by Mitch McConnell, “Our ability to control the primary outcome was quite limited in 2022 because of the support of the former president. Hopefully in the next cycle, we’ll have quality candidates everywhere.”

A justice on the Kansas Supreme Court will no longer serve as an adjunct at the Kansas University Law School due to what he sees as a weak response from the administration when it came to a conservative event.
“I write to let you know that…I will not be renewing my teaching relationship with KU Law next fall,” Kansas Supreme Court Justice Caleb Stegall wrote a letter to the dean of the University of Kansas School of Law.
Stegall (pictured) had objected to students and administrators’ reactions to a lunch-hour with a lawyer from the Alliance Defending Freedom, sponsored by the student chapter of the Federalist Society.

"I take full responsibility," he continued.
